  • How to get the change document Number.

    Hi,
We have a scenario where the any customer master changes need to be send to the agent. I thought of using CDHDR,CDPOS.I've checked the FMS CHANGEDOCUMENT_READ and position header FMS too.even for these we need to provide the object class.
But for them we need to have the document number and object class. They can be changed from any transactions. We have many Z transactions through which he can change the customer master data too,but finally master tables only get updated. Is there any FM to find the document numbers.
    Thanks,
    Bharathi.

    Hi Bharti,
In such situation, you can create the event based on the CDHDR table entries. In fact, based on the object ID and object class, the recent change document can be picked up. If standard change object does not work, a Z change document can be created. This practice can help in picking the change in selected fields as the master tables can be updated in many fields which are not relevant for the requirement.
Do let me know in case you need more help on it.
    Thanks,

  • ITSM: Cancelled Change Documents - Number range goes missing

Hi Experts, We create RFCs, Urgent, Normal, Admin changes. however when we "create change record/change doc" a number is assigned to the record/doc. Sometimes we cancel and come out of the Creation process and then again restart our process. This time the number assigned to the previous record is lost and then a new number is assigned to the new record. This way a lot of the numbers goes missing in the sequence when you do a full search of all records/docs. Is there a way to get over this issue? please advise.

    Hi,
try with after unchecking  the "early numbering assignment" option in your ztransaction types.

  • How to change Document Date on a Old Purchase Order

We are having issues with about 57 purchase orders document date set at 12/31/2999 that is causing issues implementing Business Intelligence.  Is there a program that I can use to change these dates back to 12/31/2019 or something.  Due to calendar year 2999 not being setup BW can not bring this information into their queue.  I hate to do this via debug.  Are there any options.  Thank you for your help.
    Chandra

According to SAP, since purchase order is a legal document they do not support the process of changing document number.  They suggested I do the change with debug and replace at my own risk.  In ME22N go to debug and type MEPO_TOPLINE-BEDAT.  The values for this field show up as 29991231 that should be changed to 20191231 and press F8, then save the purchase order.

    HI,
it should work as you have explained (CKMPCD).
Are you sure you try to view an existing price change document number?
The document header for such a document is stored in table MLHD so check the table if the document is created.

  • Change document items (CDPOS)

    hello boss
how to use these tables CDPOS and CDHDR , in that i had given the document no as sceduling agreement no but i didnot get result,
in that table waht is that object value and change  doc object  what is that
kindly tell me what is the use of table , how to enter in that table, what were ans we were expect from these table?

    Hi
CDHDR - Change Document Header table
CDPOS - Change Document Item table
Document number is the change document number, which you see when you goto display changes for any document or master data
To use this table you will need to know the document object. Document object a name give to various objects like PO, Material master etc. And object value is the number of you PO or scheduling agreement.
You can search by just entering scheduling agreement number in object value....but the search will take large time as index will not be accessed.
From this header table you wil get change document number. This number you take to CDPOS and then you will get the details of the changes done.
    Hope this helps.

    Vishal

  • Standard report for material price change documents

    Hi Friends,
Is there a standard report which lists all the material price change document?
To view the document individually t-code CKMPCD can be used, but I need a report which lists all the documents for a specified period of time.
Thanks a lot for all the efforts.
    Regards,
    Shilpi

    Hi,
I do not know a standard report but an infoset+query created based on logical database BRM and BKPF-AWTYP = PRCHG (price change), BKPF-BUDAT (posting date),... and some BSEG-fields will give you the posted amounts. The original document (=corresponding price change document) number can be seen in BKPF-AWKEY.

  • Document number ranges changes

    Dear friends,
While creating the document number ranges for current year, user wrongly changed the previous year number ranges, now it is giving new number ranges for new documents which are posted in previous year, how to reset the previous number ranges with out effecting the documents which are already posted.
    regards,

    Dear,
It is the only way to insert a correct number rang to the current year, and change the document No which posted to previous year wrong  to the correct fiscal year. then correct the "current number" to the last one posted in previous year.
But these corrections need necesary authorizations and ABAP knowledge.

  • How to split the IDOCS based on document number change whit out BPM

    Hi all,
    Thanks,for giving the responce..
    Scenario:File to IDoc.
Problum1 : How to Split the IDocs based on document number change in the source file with out BPM.My file contains document numbers like
    20000092
    20000092
    20000092
    50000050
    50000050
    50000065
    I want 3 IDocs in target system.i.e 1 for 20000092,20000092,20000092
                                                       2 for 50000050,50000050
                                                       3 for 5000006
By using external definations i am getting 6 IDOCs insted of 3.
Problum 2:Is there any chnges/modifications in Directory when we are using external definations.
Could u plz provide me the step by step process(Repository/Directory) with using of external definations.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    KP

    HI,
for this no need of BPM.
You can think of Idoc bundling concept to acheive this-just you need to do the external definition to change the idoc occurence
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/12/04/xi-idoc-bundling--the-trick-with-the-occurance-change
to achieve for each document no, one idoc, you can write small user defined function in the mapping with context handling you an achieve this.
    For this e.g

  • MM02 - Enable options change number, change overview and change documents

I am with the following problem: I enter the transaction MM02, I enter the material 1000765, I select the view "Classification". Later I access the environment option from the menu bar and options for change number, change overwiew and change documents are disabled.
How do I enable these options change number, change overview and change documents?
    Regards,
    Sérgio Salomã

    Hi Sergio,
If we activate the change documents for classification data, then we will be able to see the CHANGE DOCUMENTS for characteristic values through CL20N transaction (CL20N via menu ENVIRONMENT --> Change Documents) or MM02.
For reference please check SAP Note 65124.
For enabling change documents for classification data in SPRO --> Cross-Application Components --> Classification System --> Classes --> Maintain Object Types and Class Types.
In this enter into MARA table entry. Inside that corresponding to the respective CLASS TYPE (say 001) enable the CHANGE DOCS check box in Classifications part (For enabling this please check SAP Note 65124). Then for this CLASS TYPE (say 001) inside the OBJECTS folder, enable the CHANGE DOCS CLASS checkbox also.
Now in MM02 and in CL20N under menu Environment --> Change Documents you can view all the changes done to that characteristic values.
Once the change documents is activated, then we can get the change documents details in CDHDR and CDPOS tables. The OBJECTCLAS may be "CLASSIFY". We can also use the "CLLA_CHANGE_DOC_CLASSIFICATION" function module to fetch the data from these tables.
Hope this helps in solving your issue.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Harish kumar.

  • Number range "change document" problem

    Hi
Some body has changed the number range group in production server for specific order type. Can i trace the user id who has done this changes, is there any log generated for number range group changing as no transport request is generated.
I have checked  "utilities-change document" in OION but no log is generated.
    Regards
    Santosh

    hi
if the group has been changed ,system will certainly write the change documents .in OION from menu Goto>change documents
Also i think it will create the request also ,after changing the value from OION screen choose Interval>Transport ,and press yes in the corresponding dialog box system will prompt the request no
    check and revert back

  • Change PO number/document type

    Hi,
we are using SRM 5.0, extended classic scenario.
We have defined three document(transaction) types for PO in srm.
One of them is a Dummy type-when this one is selected i need to change the type (and a number because of number ranges) of this PO depending on some conditions for items. I need to do this change propably when the PO should be stored in the backend. How can i do it? should i use outbound badi and change the number of PO? how can i get the next "free" number of PO with specified type? but i think that i will loose connection between srm PO and backend PO-so how should i update SRM PO?
    thanks
    JJ

You can probably do the changes already when saving the PO. I think what you can do best is to use BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI with filter BUS2201 (for PO). Do a check on sy-ucomm to decide whether the save button has been pressed or not. Here you have most of your item data available. Sometimes however some of your item data is not present in the BADI (quite annoying really), use FM BBP_PO_MEMORY_GET to get the order that is stored in memory (all screen changes are already reflected in the return data. Check the FM in
The reason I advice to use DOC_CHANGE is because you have all data available you need. In the other BADI that comes to mind BBP_DOC_SAVE_BADI you have to call several FMs to get an updated PO.
I don't know if the correct number is retrieved then, just see if it does. If so, great, if not, you can probably do something with FM GET_NEXT_NUMBER (or any variation of those words as I don't have access to a system right now).

  • In sales quotation document number not changed..

    hiii guys
i getting some problem in sales quotation about document number.....
actually i opened by another user like sham.he is sales department..he have only sales authorizations..when we press add button, data has been saved..but number not changed... but after saving,we close form and open again then that that time number automatically changed..its comes serial number..when we press add button,,we getting same problem...

    hi
I think you got confused with document and draft no on Approval documents.
    Ofcourse many user,got this confusion.
The Document number wont be generated in Sales Quotation till you add it(i.e when waiting for approval)
The document number which is shown in  that document when pending for the approval, is not the finalised number.
Its just the next number of sales quotaion which wont get stored in sales quotation, rather it will store in Draft table ODRF.
when you have too many documents which is waiting for approval, you can notice that document number will be same for all the other documents.
So you note down the Draft Number which is UNIQUE.
    For Ex:
you are creating sales quotation which has the document number as '335'.
so when you sending it for approval the draft number will be staored as '211'.
after getting the approval, when you add it,document number will be generated as '337' because two documents were posted when the draft no:211 is waiting for approval.
    revert me for any clarification.
