Changed email on account, can no longer authorize to play?

I have a bunch of music, ringtones, TV shows, movies... stuff that I purchased that I can't authorize. All of these items were purchased with the same account I'm still using now. The difference is that I've changed my email address. I don't have the original email address from when I made those purchases and I'm unable to authorize them. I can see that when I view info on one of these purchases the "Account Name: " has my old email address... not my iTunes or Apple account. So, if I'm authorizing my iTunes using my new email none of these older purchases will work.
I'm really curious how to fix this. I've got quite a few purchases from years back that I'd like access to, but I can't authorize using my new email/iTunes or my old email (the one used for the original purchases). I think I've only ever had 1 apple id, I've only changed the email address associated with it.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Okay, nevermind. It turns out I have 2 different Apple Ids. typing "i think" made me think and that other email address that was changed was associated to a different apple id. Putting in my new email for those older purchases works to authorize them. Boy, it'd be nice to merge Ids now.

If you can verify the serial number of an apple product registerd in your name, and can verify your apple id, and possibly some other info (credit card on file is a good one) you can call 1-800-APL-CARE. The tech should be able to verify this info, and if so can transfer you to account security.

Changing e-mail IDs- can no longer authorize music to my computer

When I changed e-mail accounts, I also changed my Apple ID to reflect the new account. Now, music that I purchased under the old ID will not play. iTunes keeps asking me to authorize my computer - I do, iTunes store OKs it. Then I click "play" on the song, and the whole cycle starts up again!
I have tried authorizing under the old ID, but just get a message that the ID is not recognized.
What do I do about this? Anyone have an idea?

Try
- Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
However, that may not work and you will have to wait for an iPod or iTunes update.

make sure the outgoing (smtp server) has the updated password also. settings>mail,contact,calendars>then at account>it will say outgoing, smtp or advanced. after clicking on the smtp it will have an option to change that password, delete it and add ur new one

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if you can then update the app.
If you do delete the app then you should be able to re-download your ibook purchases via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app. But in case some of them are no longer available in the store and/or you have PDFs or epubs in it, then you could first connect it to your computer's iTunes and do File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) which should copy them over to the Books part of your iTunes library so that you have your own copy of them and can sync them back (even though they aren't iTunes purchases it should also copy over any PDFs or epubs that you have in the iBooks app)

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

"My Account" can no longer be accessed through the log in

Access to Credit Card accounts log in for Tesco no problem.
Yet. since last two updates I can no longer access my savings accounts through the log in proceedure. On the pin and memorable word page(2nd log in page proceedure) it now appears as "web page cannot be found". No such problem with Internet Explorer.

Did you call your bank to see if there's a problem with your savings account?
Did you try using other browsers, e.g. IE or Google Chrome to see if you can log-in from them?

AD accounts can no longer connect to Lion AFP File Shares

I am running into an issue where AD users can no longer connect to AFP file shares. If you attempt to authenticate with one of our Lion server's local accounts, you connect without any issues, but if you put network credentials in then you get the window shake denial. This issue just came up this morning. I attempted unbinding and rebinding the machine, updating from 10.7.2 to 10.7.3, removing and re-adding share point permissions, turning file sharing off then on, and still no network account authentication.
Anyone have any advice for how to get network credential authentication to AFP filesharing working again?

You could enable the AFP server access log:
sudo serveradmin settings afp:activityLog=yes
and then look at log at /Library/Logs/AppleFileService/AppleFileServiceAccess.log
to see if that offers any clues.

IPad mini safari search bar changed to grey and can no longer clear history

What has happened? The panel in safari where you type in web addresses use to be white with black type now it's all grey with white type. It's awful. Also I used to be able to clear history but can no longer do this. Need this option as looking for Christmas presents and don't want kids to see.

Are you referring to the new colors of iOS 7? If that's the case then there is no way to change it.
To clear your History:
1 Tap the Bookmark icon (the one next to the cloud and + icons.
2 Tap Bookmarks > Select History
3 Hit Clear (Notice the Clear icon at the bottom).

I changed email addresses and computers. I had a bunch of songs loaded to an old computer I have copied to my new one. Each time I try to play them I get a message wanting me to grant the new machine permissions, I do this but they still will not play??????
