Changed from one Pixi to another - 3G connection interrupted during app restore. How do I get to them?

Hi,
We lost a Palm Pixi, and got another one to replace it.  We don't have a data plan (have to pay by the mb), so when we were signing in to our Palm Profile as we activated the replacement phone, I quickly turned data off and wifi on.  I did want the apps from the lost phone to be restored to the new one, but they did not download over wifi, and I'm not sure how to proceed.
Most of the apps (like Angry Birds) required a WebOS update and were not even available to us on the first Pixi until we had gotten the newer WebOS version... so I don't know if our Profile would've allowed them to be put on the replacement phone without the WebOS upgrade. I'm in the process of doing that (upgrading the WebOS) right now.
But... how can I re-start the process of putting the apps, etc. stored in my Palm Profile onto this phone?

Once you get webOS updated on your Pixi, the apps should auto-install.  If they do not, open the App Catalog, then tap the shopping bag icon at the bottom-right of the screen.  That will take you to the apps you've installed or that have failed to install.  If your apps do not auto-install after the webOS update, you should see some yellow exclamation marks in the My Applications screen.  Just tap each app to restart the download.

    In MDS terminology an Entity is metadata, and Entity Members are the data. 
    Typically changes to an Entity (ie model design changes) are promoted to different environments.  Model design changes can be replicated manually in each environment or you can Export the model and Import it into the target environment.
    Adding, editing and deleting entity members is performed directly in each environment.
    If you want to selectively import data from a Dev environment, you can use staging.

    Hi,
    You can save the list as template in source environment. Download the template for List Templates, upload in the same location in Destination site. The customized infopath should go with it. Let us know if that doesnt work.

    That's correct.  Unless you can magically unlock your 4S, you can't sync it.  It's broken.  Had you been using the phone properly, you would have been synching it frequently and would have had a recent backup from which to restore your iPhone 5.

    Photos and some other items are added back after the restore has completed, you may need to wait a while.

  • Block Diagram Changes from one computer to another.

    When programming in LabVIEW, I generally try to make my block diagrams as neat and orderly as possible. This gives the code a more professional look, as well as making it easier for someone else to quickly understand the program. However, I recently have started doing programming on more than one computer, and have found that my block diagram does not look the same from one computer to another (due to different monitor resolutions). Because of this, the nice, orderly block diagram that I made on one computer looks a bit jumbled on another. Is there any way to fix this, short of standardizing the monitor resolutions on every computer?

    One problem you might encounter is how the application font is rendered on different machines. All text-based diagram nodes (labels, property nodes, globals, locals,...) are affected (grow/shrink) if the font is not the same.

  • Format changes from one computer to another.....how come?

    Just bought a new laptop.......I have been doing all my editing on the computer at home without a problem......all clips are saved in MPEG and everything works fine.....(ultimately posting them all on YouTube).  As I needed to get a new laptop anyway, I set it up so it would have plenty of giddyup to work on videos away from home.  When I copy the folder containing the video clips (all in MPEG) on the desktop at home and then copy the folder to the desktop on the new laptop, the clips have changed from MPEG to MOD format........This results in an error message when I try to preview the clip (in Windows Media Player) about being unable to find the app that created the clip......I can click "try it anyway" and the video will play but minus the audio.  I do all my previewing in Media Player to go through the clips quickly to sort out what I want to keep and what to toss out.
    Why would the format change from MPEG to MOD when I copy the files from desktop at home to laptop?....anyone have any ideas?.....is there a phone number at Adobe that anyone knows of with a human on the other end that may be able to answer if I can figure it out here.  Thanks for any suggestions.

    This is a new one to me. I have never seen any version of Windows that would change the file extension of any file copied, regardless of whether it was over a network, or to a new drive/folder.
    Now, with the JVC cameras, their files are MOD and TOD (for HD material). Could you have copied the wrong folder? Otherwise, something really odd is going on. Could it be that you thought that you had copied a certain folder and actually got one with the same file names, but at the original level, when they were still .MOD?

    Working with the Dock
    When the Dock is configured to appear at the bottom of your screen, it's available on whichever screen you’re working on. Just move your pointer to the bottom of either display. When the Dock is configured for the left or right position, it appears on the leftmost or rightmost display edge.
    The Dock settings are located in System Preferences.

  • I transfered my iTunes library from 1 computer to another and am now missing content. How do I get it back?

    I transfered my iTunes library from my old computer to my new computer using iCloud and an missing content. My iPhone still has my full library on it. I've synced my phone but the missing cntent wont transfer over. How do I get my complete library on my new computer? My old computer had windows 7; the new one windows 8. Dont know if this makes any difference.

    Delete the garbage that has been created on the new computer.
    Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer. Launch iTunes, everything will now be as it was on the old computer.

  • Can I use home sharing to import library changes from one library to another, on the same computer without duplicating the song/movie?

    I have two imacs, each with multiple accounts.  The itunes source data (music videos etc) is stored in the shared area of one imac. What is the best way of keeping each account on each imac up to date with any changes/additions in the source data?  I felt that Home sharing could be a solution, and it works well by import the library onto the second mac and I can also see if there are any changes by using the "Show items not in my lbrary" function.  However, this only works well for one account on the second mac, for the other accounts it will re-import and duplicate the data . 

    Locate them in the Windows Explorer, move or copy those files as you would any other, and drag them into the open iTunes window when the second library is loaded. If you're using two iTunes libraries on one user account, you only need to locate the files; otherwise, they need to be put in a shared area.

    I've searched and read several posts on accounts but I want to make sure I go about things the right way.
    I have two accounts (bad idea I know, but it was accidental). One, we'll say is [email protected] The other is [email protected] Both are active and I can log into both. All of my music has been purchased under [email protected] w/ 4 authorized computers for the music.
    My question is, how can begin using [email protected] and still have purchase history, etc to help with recovery if necessary? And, still have my authorized computers? Maybe this is very easy but I just missed it. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Play one of the songs from the other account and it will authorize the computer.
    To view the purchase history, select the iTunes store, then click *Sign In* or click on the account name at the top right of iTunes.
    Log in with which ever account you want to view the info for.

    I have an old Touch with it's data on my laptop, my dad just got the new one with his data on his laptop. he told me if i can switch over the music and stuff then i can have his ipod. So, how would i put my songs onto his ipod and his songs onto my ipod?

    I wasn't intending to move the entire home folder, rather, moving things like what's inside my Documents folder in chunks.
    From what I read, tracking down the origin of sleep/wake problems on a computer is notoriously hard, especially if Disk Utility and similar tools don't give any clues during Repair Disk or Repair Permissions. Creating the new user seemed to help, but I don't know why that alone would "fix" anything, so I haven't moved any files as of yet nor done anything with the new user account.
    Trying to move the things from my Library folder to my desktop also seems a bit risky; it's hidden in Lion and Mountain Lion because a lot of system files are there, right? Wouldn't moving them cause problems, not just help me find what file/folder (if any) could be the culprit?

    I have looked in the obvious places for the answer to this question, but clearly I haven't looked well enough. So sorry to bring such a simple thing here, but I just can't find it in the manuals. I live in NZ and have used my iPads, iPhone and iTouch without any drama....purchase from the App Store and I Tunes regularly - all good until today!, not sure why / how but I seem to have changed a setting and when I try to download a movie I get a message that says " Your acct is not valid for purchase in the USA store and you will need to switch back to the NZ store to make this purchase".     Settings > iTunes&App Stores (or Stores) > Apple ID > View Apple ID > enter password > Country/Region and you can select where to switch to.
