Changed my Apple ID and this is what happens....

I changed my apple ID last week, i figured if i change it then it would be the same on all my devices, boy was i wrong! ive nothing but trouble since i did... i changed it to my @me.com email address, which i now cant verify becasue i cant access my me.com email until i verify it!!
Ive spoken to 3 different apple support agents over the phone, which werent much help, though i was told its a problem they are getting quite a lot at the moment.
So anyway... nothing working still, contacts all gone, documents all gone, anything related to iCloud GONE!! atleast until i can verify my Apple ID.
I sent a suport message to iTunes as i was told they were the only ones who could access Apple ID information and this is what i got back

They logged me into my own Apple ID account and changed it (somehow)

    Either log in under the old ID to update Candy Crush or delete the game and

  • HT2204 I have changed my apple ID and this has been verified by email and when i go on to my account but it is still registering on my IPad when I try to purchase anything through apps and iTunes I can't.

    I have just had to change my apple ID on the apploid site and that worked. I got an email to verify and did so. Yet when I try to use my iPad to purchase it is still showing my old ID so I can't make a purchase through ITunes or apps. I have gone on my ID account a number of times and the new one does work to sign in. I can't work out how to get my IPad to recognise this change or edit in manually through the IPad

    If the old ID ("email address") is your ID, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID.  Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    I have kept getting some sort of messages about my apple id or icloud being disabled or something like that.  My mail @me.com doesn't work, I can't send messages, Safari and Chrome won't let me do anything.  First I thought it was just the Chrome.  So I deleted it and then went to the app store to re-load it.  I don't know what to do.  I'm "old and moldly" so I'm not technically "savy".  How can I fix this????

    The LCD goes all screwey... Its acting fine atm... I reset it with a hard reset b4 I went to take picture and upon reset it all seemed good... so if it happens again I will take a pic...

    Ots worse now.. lol. Just turned it on 35m ago and the screen displays nothing but white multi colored lines (vertical length wise of the screen)... they are sending me a pre-paid box to ship it back to them in... if they try to pull a fast one... oooohhh... This has never been dropped... failed in under 15hrs from first charge. My guess... the battery expanded and pushed the LCD connector loose. Anyone else wanna take a guess? cries under 15hrs old and only got to use it for 4 hrs.*
    I should also note- it happened while it was charging.

    No signs whatsoever of physical damage... I have a 2nd Gen Zune and a Creative Zen X-Fi that lasted longer. lol. Computer Works has said they will service it if I bring it in... which I will if the FedEx box doesn't get here Saturday.

    If it says "This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons", then you will just need to change you password by following these steps: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2446
    If it does not says "...for security reasons" you will have to contact the iTunes Store to have your account 'un-disabled' http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

    On your Mac, go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with the ID you want to use.

    Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

    I recently changed my email address and want to change my Apple ID account to match.     Well, first of all, your MBP can't work with iCloud, you need Lion (10.7) to do that.  So it shouldn't matter what you did on your laptop.
    There may be some confusion here.  There is the Apple ID that your iTunes uses to buy things at the app store as well as songs and video.  Then there's there ID used for iCloud.  They are not necessarily the same.  When you say you changed the Apple ID and password on the MBP, that was for iTunes (since it can't use iCloud).  Or did you access iCloud with a browser and change things that way?

    Why are you using a usb ethernet adaptor? Just plug the modem into the usb port.

    You need to do the following to delete the iCloud account from your device:
    1.     Go back to Manage your Apple ID and EDIT your Apple ID back to the old email address. This is temporary. Do NOT VERIFY it, do NOT change the password: Apple - My Apple ID
    2.     Go to Settings>iCloud on your iPhone, and scroll to the bottom of the screen and Sign Out/Delete the iCloud account . Type in your current password when asked. Follow the prompts to complete the sign out/deletion.
    Also, sign out the old Apple ID from Settings>iTunes & App Store, Settings>Messages, Settings>FaceTime
    3.     Go back to Manage your Apple ID, sign on with the old Apple ID and current password, and EDIT the Apple ID back to your new Apple ID (you may have to verify it again).
    4.     Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign on with the new Apple ID
    Sign onto any other apps with the new ID as needed
