Changed my email address now I can't log on to my iTunes or icloud from my phone
I was successful at changing my email address for my Apple ID on my ipad but can't get the issue resolved on my phone
When you say change my email address for my Apple ID what exactly do you mean?
Did you create a new Apple ID Account?
What ID was used to set the Find my iPhone

You can have as many Apple ID;'s as you want but they all have the following points to consider.
Your apple ID primary email address
Your date of birth
your 3 security questions
your alternate email address
your rescue email address
It is really important to keep a record of all of the above.
Also 4 and 5 work best with unique emails per account
The other problem is that if you have set Find my... on any kit, using the old Apple Id then it becomes harder to do.
It is do-able, I spent 3 hrs on the fone over 3 days getting it done on an ipad and iphone

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. You can now go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your correct iCloud ID and password.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to have them reset the password so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. You can either go to https://expresslane.apple.com, select "More Products and Services", then "Apple ID", then on the next page select "Other Apple ID Topics", then "Lost or forgotten Apple ID password" and click "Continue"; or you can contact Apple Support (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/). -
How can I change my email address if I can't log in?
Hi,
I have a valid Adobe account and password. (Not this one - I had to set up a dummy account just to get this far!)
When I try to log in, it appears the Account name and password are accepted, but the site says I have to reset my password using instructions emailed to me.
Problem: the email address to which the instructions have been sent is old and dead.
I can't log in until I get the email,
but I can't get the email until I update my email address
but I can't correct my email address until I can log in.
Can anyone help me with the catch-22 situation?
I tried Chat, and was told someone would get back to me in around 3 days, and that was over a week ago.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again. -
When I attempt to download an app my email address isn't there, the other ipad users is there. How do I change the email address so I can enter my password?
Go to Settings > iTunes and App Stores
At the top of the window you will see the Apple ID that the iPad is using. To change that tap on the ID and then tap on Sign Out. Then sign in with the correct ID.
Not really a good idea to be using two different Apple IDs on a single iPad. -
Where can I change my email address now I have downloaded Yosemite
I changed my email address ages ago and no longer have access to the old one. When I downloaded Yosemite, Apple wanted me to sign in on the old email address but I cannot remember my password, or at least I thought I remembered it but I keep getting the incorrect password message. Help - I cannot find where to change the email address in the new system, it used to be in Preferences/ Users but it is not there now.

You've updated your iTunes account to have your new email address on it - you might need to log out of your account by tapping on it at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app and then log back in with the updated version of your account so as to 'refresh' the account on it.

Changed my email address, now my ID won't work
I incorrectly entered my email address as '.neet', got my computer authorized, then noticed my mistake and fixed my email address to '.net'. Now my Sony won't pick up the ebooks I download using Digital Editions, and when I tried to change my email address back to .neet in Digital Editions (to match my original ID), it said that email address was already in use. Argh! Any ideas?

Symptoms
iOS 7 may ask for the password to your previous Apple ID when you sign out of iCloud.
Resolution
1. Use your current Apple ID password
Trying using your current Apple ID password. If that doesn't work, continue to the next step.
2. Sign out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime
If you are currently signed in to iMessage or FaceTime
If you are not signed in to iMessage or FaceTime
3. Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't work, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud and try to sign out.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud and sign in with the new Apple ID.

I have my sons old iPhone. iCloud is still under his email address. I can't close it and re start without his password. If I put his password in I am worried it will delete all his backup. Any suggestions?
Not completely clear on what you are trying to do, but I will take a shot.
1. If you do not want to continue using your son's account on the old phone, factory reset it and set it up with your Apple ID. It will be like you have a new phone.
1. To prevent a problem with your son's backup, connect the newly-reset phone to the computer and cancel the sync immediately. Rename the old iPhone immediately and you will not have to worry about messing up your son's backup.

I moved on to a new company. I wanted to keep my MoS account and my status here on these forums so I went in a changed the email address associated with my MoS account with my new company. When I did that it seems my old posts are no longer associated with my nickname. It shows as userid 812812:

Changed my email (login) now I can't disconnect from the older one

I changed my email on Apple account and now I can't access the older one.
What happens is that how the email has changed it can't find the old one that is settle up on the notebook and iphone.
So I thought about disconnecting from the old email (login) and connecting to the new one.
But the password is not accepted and when I try to make a new one it changes the password linked to the new email!!!!!!!
Don't what to do anymore.
