How do I delete my old numer off my icloud? I chnged my phone number and when I text other people that have an iphone it still shows up as my old number

If you forward dated a number change to avoid pro-rating your bill (usually a good move!) then you may have to wait until the 8th to find out the new number. I haven't done this before, but Verizon may wait until they actually assign you the new number to pull it from their "available" pool and connect it to your account.
When you initially set up the change, did it tell you the number? If so, calling *611 should help, the rep should be able to see it.

I changed my AppleID and when using iTunes from my iPad, it reflects my old ID and states invalid id or password.

Sign out of the old one and into the new one.
Anything purchased on the old one will still be tied to that account.

The problem now, though, is that the dialogue box that asked for the serial number has now gone. When I go to open up Photoshop, I just get a message, "Could not complete your request because of missing or invalid personalization information." When I click "OK", it just shuts down. Strangely, when I open GoLive, it just works!

I had trouble with my pop server as they had changed settings. I could not send mail using mail 6.2. When I deleted old pop account in mail preferences and set up new pop account I lost all old mail incoming, sent and trash....I know its in library/mail/v2 but I cannot work out how to tell mail 6.2 where to find it. Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you have changed your phone number but your iCloud Keychain verification number is still your old phone number. You can edit this phone number in your iCloud settings on your iPhone. Please use the attached article for information on the process.

Make sure that the correct phone number is associated with your account:
In iOS 8, tap Settings > iCloud > Keychain > Advanced. In iOS 7, tap Settings > iCloud > Account > Keychain. Make sure the phone number under Verification Number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.

In this complicated case, I think it's important that you get your work in.
The Photography Plan includes Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC. Open an account with them and for $10 a month you can be back in business which I think nets you more than $10. It's what I do. You can do this immediately. You get two seats and they can be either Mac or PC.
In your spare time you can sort out the license issue and cancel the plan later on if this is fixed.
If you don't want to go there, then you will have to call Customer Service by phone and hope they can fix this.

more than likely they will never know the text did not go through. If the number was assigned to someone else they will get your text message. I did this last week and the person texted me back asking who I was. I responded and apologized and they said no problem.

If you're talking about the phone number on your iPad for iMessage, the number is associated with the ID when you turn on iMessage on your iPhone. If the number is incorrect, try turning off iMessage on your phone, wait a minute or so, then turn it back on.

First, you may want to choose to have the sidebar displayed for familiarity:

Afterwards, your device should be displayed if connected:
We'll want to click on it, and choose the Music tab at the top. Let's make sure "Sync Music" is checked:
Afterwards, you'll have the option to sync either the entire music library (for your first iPod), or "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres" (for the secondary device). Upon selecting this option, four larger option boxes will appear allowing you to pick and choose what content will be synced. For audiobooks, you may need to do the above in the "Books" section.
