Changed password and still cannot get connected.
I am trying to talk toa customer ervice agent....have done everything correctly and still thehchat box ill not come up. Spent over 2 hours last night trying to connect to a friend in Canada...problem is there are 4 people with his same name....he ws told to change paswrrod and did but still we cannot gt connected...am extremely frustrated at this point! This was supposed to be easy but it is far from it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I may understand. There is no password from Adobe for getting an update. So, I think this is the computer's own administrator password, which you will need when you install most software. You chose it when you turned the computer on the first time. And if you forget it you have bigger problems than Adobe Reader.

You keep changing your Password? Have you done this from Settings > Store, tap your Apple ID, then sign out and sing in using the right ID and Password.

I added the new email account per the instructions above and still cannot get it to work. It appears that everything is setup properly, however, no mail comes through.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again. -

I've had my iPad mini for 6 months and still cannot get my iTunes music on it. What am I doing wrong??
I have tried everything. When I open my iTunes, the iPad icon comes up on the top right and shows the circling arrows and at the top is has iTunes Match, sending info to Apple. When I click the iPad icon, it states my iOS 6.1.3. and is up-to-date. I have a 32 GB Wi-Fi iPad. It says I have 28.34 capacity left. I have it set to automatically back up on iCloud (I have 15 GB of space in iCloud). At the bottom it says I have 447 photos and 42 apps. However, I can count that I only have 31 pictures that I see in my Photos.
I probably have the almost 500 photos on my phone, though. And I'm able to get some music to my phone**.
Under Options I have checked: Open iTunes when this iPad is connected, Sync this iPad over Wi-Fi, and sync only checked songs.
Today I tried dragging a number of playlists to the iPad icon. It didn't go to my iPad; **however, now it's on my phone.
When I open the music app in my iPad, the cloud icon shows up and the bar under it fills up, it says there's no music.
Appreciate any help...they tell me I am not eligible for tech support via chat.

I have an 802.11n base and extender and still cannot get a good signal 80-90 ft away . Why?
Hardwire is always recommended because there is virtually no signal loss in a wire....at least up to 300 feet or so.
Another advantage of using Ethernet cable...if you can...is that you can locate the AirPort Express where it is most needed.
If it extends using wireless only, it pretty much needs to be located about half the distance from the main router and the general area that needs more coverage.
I like to use WiFi Explorer since it displays SNR (Signal to Noise) readings, which are the best way to evaluate signal quality.

If the signal is varying constantly, something is causing it to do so....assuming that the AirPorts are functioning correctly.
Cordless phones are a huge problem for wireless networks. You want to try to figure out if the phones are causing a problem as a first troubleshooting step.
That is why I suggested that you turn off the phones for an hour or two and watch the network to see how it behaves. If the signal stops fluctuating....that is a good clue that the phones are interfering with the wireless signal. -

Does anybody know why my home sharing would stop and I cannot get the Apple TV to recognise the ID or possibly the password? Nothing was changed and it stopped. Now I've done everything including new apple ID and password but it still wont connect.
Either the most recent updates to iTunes or the Apple TV have changed connectivity to one another. Review the following link as the configuration presented may not be the same as yours but the concepts are the same. Once completed, you will have connectivity back.

If you don't know the password for your encrypted backup, it can no longer be used. The whole point of encryption is lost if the password can be circumvented.
Your only choice now is to disable backup encryption and create a new backup. If you need to encrypt the new backup - re-enable encryption and DO NOT LOSE THE PASSWORD.
