Changed PO fail to transfer, Enter G/L account,

Hi Friends,
   We are on SRM 5.0 Extend Classic on SP level 15. Heres the scenario that is causing PO issues..
1. User creates SC successfully
2. user creates PO successfully
3. PO is ordered successfully
4. Confirmation is carried out sucessfully
    Vendor calls user to add Freight cost.
5. User reverses confirmation - Return Delivery successfully
6. User adds line item in PO for Freight cost with valid Account assignment structure(GL, CC, FC, FA)
7. orders the PO.
Issue happens after step 7 and in the App monitor it shows -
   1. PO XXXXXX: Transfer failed
   2. PO XXXXXX: Enter G/L Account
   3. PO XXXXXX: PO line item (newly added item) still contains faulty account assignement
   4. PO XXXXXX: Instance XXXXXX of object type Purchase Order could not be changed.
I would appreciate any ideas ot suggestions.

Hi,
Check if the reversed confirmation in SRM is transferred to ECC properly.
Before that, Since you add you freight cost as a seperate item in the PO, you need not have reversed the ealier posted GR.
You could have amended the PO to add a new line for frieght.
If the freight was planned and if it needs to be loaded to the inventory on GR you could have reversed confirmation and added freight condition type in PO.
Finally, pls check the GL being used, if the GL is not a expense GL then that could be a problem.

I am getting a Changing Password Failed error when I try to join an active directory

I had a working AD configuration under Snow Leopard. When I upgraded to Mountain Lion, my account was no longer in sync with the domain. I got the red dot on the login screen and my domain password was out of sync. I unhooked from the domain at that point. This was several months ago.
However, over the last few weeks, I keep finding myself locked out of the domain. I suspect it's something on my Mac that is trying to use my old credentials. I was hoping to rejoin the domain and see if I could get my account back in sync. When I get a domain admin to enter his password on the Directory Utility join screen, it first notes that the computer account already exists in the domain. I tell it to continue, but I can't get past this point:

Had the same issue and discovered that I made my AD object name too long (16 instead of 15 character which is the limit) You might want to try making the computer object name shorter if you can.

For a couple months now, every movie purchase through iTunes fails to transfer to my iPhone or iPad giving me the error: "some of the items in the iTunes library, including were not copied to the iPad because you are not authorized for them on this computer". I have read many forums about deleting, reinstalling, de-authorizing and authorizing my iMac through the iTunes store. Many suggestions don't work except to rename the movie to *.MP4 in Finder under the iTunes movie directory. I imagine this is a setting or a bug somewhere... any suggestions on how to bypass having to rename the files in Finder? My research into Google suggests this problem dates back to 2007 or so but it is now more prevalent than ever.

I suspect the salesperson that told you that meant your online account with your carrier...have you tried logging into your carrier account online? To do this will require the sim number on your sim card, as well as the phone's IMEI number...you get the sim number off the sim card & the IMEI number, for the phone, is printed on the box.

You need to reset the password for the "old" account, and then use that to turn off iCloud. Then you will be able to sign in with your new ID.
You can reset your password at iForgot.apple.com.
If you don't know the answers to the security questions, you will need to start there.

11.1.3 (8) iTunes fails to transfer newest music tracks to iPhone 4

For the past few days, I noticed that my version of iTunes 11.1.3 (8) fails to transfer my newest music tracks, which I imported into my MacBook's Itunes in the past week, to my 2011 iPhone 4.
Both my MacBook's and iPhone's software appear to be up to date; I tried to restart, sync and re-sync with playlist boxes I unticked and ticked again, my most recent tracks appear in grey in the 'in this iPhone' music directory when I connect my iPhone to my MacBook,
but each time I try to find these tracks in my iPhone's iTunes library, none of them appears!
I finally disabled my iPhone's 'sync over with wifi' box, hoping it would really transfer the tracks immediately during the sync process but it simply doesn't make any difference.
Therefore I don't know what to do next...

You can access the apps by clicking the iPad thingy on top right of the screen (when the iPad is connected) and then select Apps and scroll down to file sharing apps...

Changing the file extension by entering a "?" in JFileChooser

I've encountered a weird thing in JFileChooser. If you open the chooser, type at least one "?" in the field for the filename and then hit the approve button, the file extension will change to the text you entered as the filename.
To reproduce this problem, simply launch the JWSFileChooserDemo hit the "Open a File..."-button and as the filename enter something like "?deadbeef". Now click the open button and you will see that the file extension changes to "?deadbeef".
This is a really strange behaviour in my opinion.
I'm using Windows 7 with java 6u16, but the issue is the same on windows xp sp3. Perhaps on linux too. I'll give it a try as soon as I can.
Has anyone else encountered that problem?

As Kevin pointed out this is related to filtering of files.
?deadbeefThis will match all the files which start with any letter followed by "deadbeef". So, ? is a wildcard meaning any one character. Other wildcard can be *, which means any number of characters. Try this:
*.txt
a*.txt
*.jp*g
??.txt I don't know other wildcards...

"Failed to transfer due to internal error" in AC

I am running CCM 4.1(2)
I have several receptionists that use attendant console. When anyone of the receptionists log into AC call control comes up. When they try to transfer to users in the directory they all get the "Failed to transfer due to internal error" I can't find this error anywhere. I don't know how to correct this issue. Any ideas?

I suppose that beside CCM 4.1(2) you are using AC 1.4 (1), if yes, then you need to upgrade to AC 1.4 (1) ES11 or upgrade at least to CCM 4.1(3)ES42 or CCM 4.1(3) sr3c

Billing Document fails on Transfer to Accounting

Hi Gurus.
I have created a Sales Order for a BP with Direct Billing.
The Billling Document created is failing to Transfer, when I review the Billing Document I see it has an error on Middeware Connection Status: "C": "Error Constructing Tax Data for mBDoc"
I do not specialize in Tax configuration. How do I correct this so that my Bdoc can get created.

Billing document fails to transfer

Hi all! For some reasons, the billing document created in CRM failed to transfer to the ECC system. It ends up with error 'No revenue account determined for bill doc 9xxxxxxxx Item 10 Condition Type xxxx'. However, when I checked the configuration (for Enhanced Revenue Determination), the conditions are in place. When I checked the Account Determination Analysis message for the invoice, it also shows that the condition record does not exist. This is really weird. Does anyone has any idea what else I can look at?

This error generally occurs when there is no G/L account assigned to the condition type which is used in the pricing procedure.
Pls goto spro path:Customer Relationship Management -->Billing -->Integration -->Transfer of Billing Documents to Accounting -->Transfer to Accounts Receivable (FI-AR) and Accounts Payable (FI-AP) -->Assign Revenue Accounts for Sales Transactions OR Assign Revenue Accounts for Service Processes (depending on which scenario you are using).
Check for the organisation that is determined in the transaction whether G/L accounti s maintained for that particular cond type displayed in the error message.If not maintain it and transfer the invoice document.

Continuation of aborted change run failed in BW 3.5

Hello experts,
everytime when an attribute / hierarchy change run has been aborted (by means of unexpected runtime errors) I failed in starting it next time. Error RSENQ 2 ("Lock not set for: activation of hierarchy") occured in this case. I found a way to overcome this by manually setting flag CLOSEDFL = X in table RSDDAGGRMODSTATE.
Now I found SAP note 903886 which forbids to do so by reason of potential inconsistencies.
Does anybody know how to handle the specified situation in a right way?

Hello Shabar,
I implicitly postulate that the reasons for the failure always have been detected before trying once more.
For example, implementing a wrong SAP note (1006192) caused runtime errors. After resetting the note implementation the error disappeared.
Sorry, this was not my question!
The point is that change run failes as long as the flag has not been set in RSDDAGGRMODSTATE even if the reason for the failure has been fixed.
