Changer de station

Bonjour,
J'aimerais savoir si lorsque on à la suite installé sur un ordi, et que l'on veut par exemple réinstaller le système, est-il possible de déactiver la license pour la remettre ensuite ?
Merci

In order to get either the repeater or the workgroup bridge functionality working, you would likely need to have a Cisco AP as root. This is because the repeater and workgroup-bridge functionalities require Cisco Aironet Information Element (IE), which requires a Cisco root AP. There is no standard for interoperability for these functionalities (not part of any 802.11 standards). You can always try to connect them, making sure that they are using the same authentication/encryption configuration. However, it is unlikely to work.

  • Change base station password

    Any help would be appreciated

    Hello edex67
    thankyou for resonding

I have changed the password twice, I feel it was successful as I changed the length of password and you can only see the number of dots in the password they changed correctly, now when using the network utility on either the ipad or the destop mac, neither will recognise my password I am using 10.6.8

  • IPod 7th generation won't change radio station

My iPod switched to a different radio station while I was listening to it and now I can't get it to change to any other station.  Is it possible to have it keep at one station?  I'd like to do that once I can get it to switch back to my preferred station, if that's possible.  It is frequently switching to a different station on me.  This iPod is very quirky and is driving me nuts.  I did a reset on it but that had no effect.

Not all iTunes video can be transferred to iPod, please make sure your video is compatible with iPod. If the video resolution or video bit rate beyond iPod limitation, you can't upload them to iPod. For example, some iTunes purchased movie are High definition movie, the resolution is too high to play on iPod Nano. You can highlight the problem video in iTunes and choose Create iPod or iPhone version from the Advanced drop down menu.  When the conversion process has completed, sync the new version to your iPod. Or you may refer to this guide, it's about how to convert and put videos on iPod Nano. Hope it helps. Feel free to email me if you need further help.

  • Time Capsule don't work when change base station password

    Hello.
I bought a Time Capsule in 8th April 2010. In August 2010 it begun report problems  (the message "Finishing backup..." always appeared and backup never ended, beyond Finder crashed all time with the pop up message error - 10810).
In January of this year, the device just didn't worked. Actually, when it turned on just the Airport function worked. In 29th of that month I receive a brand new TC after I went to technical support.
But, in 17th April 2011, it just didn't worked. At all. And, for my bad, at this time, the garantee was expired.
What I did? Well, I restarted it with default configuration (many times) until can access the hard drive. Even erase the disk (after restore some backups when I had the chance).
Well, after this, It works again. But the TC base station password now can't changed.
Actually it can be changed. But, if I do this, the TimeMachine don't get make HD TC's avaliable. And I just don't know why.
I say this because after I restored, manually, the base station password to this default settings (password "public", without quote), it returned works normally.
But I want change this password, because all my backups will be visible for that one's that have a Mac and access my TimeCapsule device.
I think this product is the greatest Fail of Apple. Many people reclaims about it, mainly for its short life and overheating.
Anyway, if there is any people that could help me, I'll appreciate!
I'm brazilian and I'm not so good in English. So I could make some grammar mistakes. Sorry about that.
By the way, if its possible, that one's that answer my question, please, don't use many slang.
    Thanks

The screenshots are here https://twitpic.com/4yeock and https://twitpic.com/4ytaks. Sorry for delay!
By the way, after I change the password for grab these screens I can not access my TimeCapsule HD again.
I'm trying (and trying, and trying, again and again) access it after restore to the default settings, but I haven't any sucess.
Ah. Now a message, like this "You are with the device default change. Are you sure keeping this?", appears when I try modify just the network password (keeping the original password device, that is "public").

  • Changing Base Stations

Is there a problem with simply importing the airport config file from the old spaceship-style base station (main) to the new dual-band station and creating a new base station? Am I better served by simply starting over?
    Thanks.

    Thanks, Tesserax.
I did try to use the old config, but the internet connection wouldn't last for more than 2 or 3 minutes. Started over with a new configuration and things went just fine (small inconvenience to change networks on all the devices).
    I appreciate the reply.

  • Changed Base Station security; not cannot connect

Added WPA2 Personal security to AirPort base station this morning, now one of three computers cannot connect to the network, despite repeated reboots and connection attempts (Network name and password checked for typos each time).
The machine in question is a PowerPC G4 running OS X (10.4.11).
Any suggestions as to where I start to sort this out?
It's got a lot of vital data on it, but it's in the basement, and running up and down stairs is a strain on aging and arthritic knees.

The Base Station does not have anywhere near the security capabilities of the PIX. It also doesn't cost anywhere near what the PIX does. Where it gets the security it does have (in Base Station mode) is from PAT and its lack of support for static translations. As well, Telnets and HTTP access from the ethernet side (in Base Station mode) are disabled, so those out on the Internet pointing browsers and telnet clients at random addresses are not going to get access. That's why fresh from the box or a reset, administration has to be done from the radio side.

  • Programmatically change station option in TestStand 2.0.1

Previously, I had an issue with changing the station model but that was overcome by the GetStationModelSequenceFile() function and StationModelSequenceFilePath variable.  What I need to do now is to get and change the Test Report type ( text or html ) and enable/disable database reporting.  I haven't found functions or variables to do so.  Does anyone out there know how to do that?  Thanks.
    -G-

    Ray,
I took a look at the link you posted and implemented the ReportOptions and DatabaseOptions callbacks.  Inside each I use the Thread.PostUIMessage ActiveX step type to send a user defined message id to my program.  The program has an event handler for the TestStand engine and receives the messages okay.  Inside the ReportOptions handler ( in the program ), I get the message execution pointer from which I get the report pointer from which I use the PutFormat function to set the report format.  By have 2 of the ActiveX steps in the sequence and adding some debug code in the ReportOptions handler ( in the program ) I can see that format changes as expected.  The format does not change overall, though.  With the station model ( which is modified for On the Fly Reporting and another change for my program ) open in TS I set the ReportOptions and DatabaseOptions using the dialog boxes from the menu.  Whatever they're set to there, regardless of what I set them to in the program handler, is what they behave as further down in the StationModel.  I tried setting the station model local variables ( the ones passed to the ReportOptions and DatabaseOptions sequences as parameters ) but that didn't have an effect either.  What I'm thinking is the variables get changed okay but they don't take hold unless they are saved and reran.  I want to change them at run-time and have them take effect.  Any more ideas?  Thanks.

  • Changing station options programmatically

    Hi
I am trying to change the Station Options programmatically (in a TestStand seq) rather than via the dialog. In particular, I want to change the "Immediately Goto Cleanup on Sequence Failure", although I will probably also want to change other options later.
    I have succeeded in:
Getting the ConfigFile (PropertyObjectFile) using the Runstate.Engine reference
Getting the Data (PropertyObject) using the Configfile reference.
Setting "StopOnSequenceFailure" using SetValBoolean with the Data reference.
Saving the changes to TestExec.ini, using SaveFileIfModified with the ConfigFile reference.
However, the change only takes effect when TestStand is restarted, and does not show up in the StationOptions dialog (until a restart). Using the dialog, I can change the setting while stepping through a sequence, and it takes effect immediately, so there must be a way to do this from within a sequence.
How do I "refresh" TestStand's "copy" of the variable?
    Thanks
    (I am using TestStand 2.0.1.)

    Jan,
What Version of TestStand are you using?
I assume you are using the TestStand API.
You can get a reference to the StaionOptions Object from the Engine.
    StationOptions Property (Read Only)
    Syntax
    Engine.StationOptions
    Data Type
    StationOptions
    Purpose
Gets a reference to the StationOptions object.
    Remarks
Use the StationOptions object to set preferences for your TestStand station. Station option settings affect all sequence editor and operator interface sessions that you run on your computer.
    See Also
    StationOptions
    Check TestStand Help.
Usin this reference you can access most of the options present in the station options dialog.
    I hope this helps.

  • Station Model Option Change

I have a modified version of the SequentialModel.seq that I need to use on various machines. To keep things simple for the user, I'd like to check at the beginning of my program and see if the current model is different than the one I need. If so, I store the current station model using ( Engine.GetStationModelSequenceFile ) and would like to set the station model to my model file. Then, when my application completes, it would reset the station model back to the original model that I stored from before. What function will allow me to change the station model programmatically? Also, will the change require a restart of the engine? Thanks.

    Scott,
I used your suggestion and it does set the path as I wish. Now, is there a way to get the engine to know that changed without shutting down and starting another execution? I want this to be hidden from the user and not make them get a warning and then force them to restart the program. Thanks.

  • Simple How-To # 1: Adding additional base stations

    That's all I need. A series of simple, step-by-step 'how-to's'.
I've been using Macs for almost 20 years, but find the instruction manual and software for the new Airport Utility [AEBSn device] to be particularly unhelpful.
I need to add an AX to extend the range of my network [and be able to use my brand-new printer]. The software seems to be instructing me to, "change base stations"? Why? The older Airport Admin Utility [supplied with AX's] did not use such counter-intuitive instructions and was much simpler to set up multiple base stations. What gives Apple?
Give it to me simple Apple, my brain cells aren't getting any brighter! Is there anyone out there that can post simple step-by-step instructions? I'm sure I won't be the only one appreciating that kind gesture.
    Anyone?

    AEBSn - WDS Setup
(Note: To facilitate the WDS set up, place the base stations within near proximity of each other during the set up phase, and then relocate them to their desired locations when complete.)
    Main Base Station Setup (AEBSn)
    - Click the AirPort status menu in the menu bar and choose the wireless network created by the base station you want to set up as the main base station.
    - Open AirPort Utility (located in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, or in Start > All Programs > AirPort on a computer using Windows).
    - Select the main base station, and choose Manual Setup from the Base
Station menu, or double-click the base station to open the configuration in a separate window.
    - Enter the base station password if necessary. If the base station is using the
default password of public, you will not be prompted for a password.
    - Click Wireless in the toolbar, and then choose “Participate in a WDS network” from the Wireless Mode pop-up menu.
    - Click WDS and then choose “WDS main” from the WDS Mode pop-up menu.
    - Select the “Allow wireless clients” checkbox if you want client computer to connect to this base station.
    - Click the Add button and enter the MAC address of the base stations you want to connect to this base station.
    - Click Update to send the new settings to the base stations in the WDS.
    Remote Base Station Setup (AX)
    - Click the AirPort status menu in the menu bar and choose the wireless network created by the base station you want to set up as a remote base station.
    - Open AirPort Utility (in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, or in Start > All Programs > AirPort on a computer using Windows).
    - Select the remote base station, and choose Manual Setup from the Base Station menu.
    - Enter the base station password, if necessary. If the base station is using the default password of public, you will not be prompted for a password.
    - Enter the same network password as the main base station, if necessary.
    - Click AirPort in the toolbar and click Wireless. Choose “Participate in a WDS network” from the Wireless Mode pop-up menu, and choose the same channel as the main base station from the Channel pop-up menu.
    - Click WDS and choose “WDS remote” from the pop-up menu.
    - Enter the MAC address of the main base station in the WDS Main field. The MAC address is also referred to as the AirPort ID and is printed on the label on the bottom of the base station.
    - Click Update to transfer the settings to the base station.

  • IOS7 Oldest First Station Ordering of Episodes??

Is there any way to have a Station both Group by Podcast and have the Play Order for episodes respect the setting for each individual Podcast?
Specifically in My Podcasts I have set each and every podcast to have Sort Order: Oldest on Top and Play Order: Oldest First.  I create a station, select all my podcasts and have Play Order: "My Podcasts" and Group by Podcast enabled.  When I tap on the Info button for any given podcast in the station list the episodes are all listed Newest First.   If I change the station's Play Order to Oldest to Newest it only reorders the podcast list.  The episodes are still sorted Newest First.
Way back in iOS6 the Podcast app got this right and it got broken along the way to iOS7.
Apple, can you please fix this?????
    Regards,
    Jeff

Nevermind, I solved my own problem: I deleted your app and downloaded Downcast which does what I want.

  • Radio Name change disappearing

I have created a few radio stations by pasting the stream URL into the box after (Apple U).
That part went well. The radio stations were created and I moved them from the list of last played songs into a RADIO playlist. Now I tried to change the station name.
I was able to change the station name but as soon as I start playing the station the name changes back to it auto-generated name.
Is there a way to make my name changes permanent?

    No.
The info is updated via the feed. Any changess you make will get changed back.

  • Radio won't tune to a two-digit radio station

Can anyone tune their 6th gen Nano to a xx.0 radio station?
Our gym has TVs with FM radio transmitters set to 90.0, 91.0, 93.0, 94.0, and 95.0. The idea is that people on the treadmills can choose which TV they would like to listen to just by tuning in the appropriate FM station.
I cannot manually tune my nano to any FM station ending in a zero. Can you?

OK, I think I figured it out. I should have read the manual
All you need to do is set the Radio Region to Europe or Asia. Those regions allow changing radio stations in 100kHz increments instead of the the 200kHz increments for the Americas and Australia. I don't know if changing this setting will have any ill effects, but I don't think so.
Here are the steps for setting the Radio Region (from page 44 of the manual):
    To select a radio region:
    1. On the Home screen, tap Settings.
    2. Tap General, and then tap Radio Regions.
    3. Tap your region.
A check appears next to the region you select.
    Hope this helps someone else.
