Changes done in the FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1

*In 4.7 The FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 works in the manner with the pattern by sending the mail with the data and a link but after upgrade to ECC6.0 the same FM is sending the mail and the data in the form of an attachment which could not be opened with the extension .RAW .So kindly suggest us how to get the functionality in the same paatern as it use to be happen in ECC4.7.*

Hello Everyone,
I have developed a webdynpro java application which sends a interactive form as an attachment in an email. Everything works fine except that there are some editable fields on the form and the changes dont go in the attachment. The Send Email button is on the webdynpro View. I tried many different things but nothing worked. Somehow the changes done on the form dont get saved in the pdfSource when a button on the webdynpro view is clicked. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi,
This is caused by mandant settings in scc4. It's better not to make changes in PRD, because then your DEV en QA systems differ.

Changes done for the Site in the BCC are not reflecting in the Production

Hi,
we are using ATG10.0.2 BCC, application is based on CRS10.0.2
changing the asets for a site in BCC and deployed success fullly changes are there in the BCC but those are not affecting in production
In Production configuration of BCC i mapped Source Repository atg/multisite/SiteRepository with Destination Repository: atg/multisite/SiteRepository_production
please help me to reslove this issue

How about checking this?
Login into the DB and see if you have values changes getting reflected in the CA DB and prod DB.
If values are getting reflected in the DB then clear the cache of the repository.
If the values are not getting reflected in prod db then check the datasource property of that repository.

Changes done in the ValueChangeListener is not reflecting else where

Abstract:
There is an input File competent where the user can select a file to upload. The user will press a Savebutton to store file in the database.
Work Flow:
When the user select the file to upload the valueChangeListener will be called.
In the valueChangeListener I am storing the file into local variable of type UplodedFile. I am able to access all file property from this variable in the valueChangeListener; that is, I can access the file name, size,... form the local variable within the valueChangeListener.
When the user press the Save button a method to commit the changes is called.
In the commit method I am getting the file data from the local variable that hold the file data.
The problem is:
This local variable that should store the file data is always NULL. I have no idea why this variable does not contain the file data although I set its value in the valueChangeListener.
Note:
I tried to bind the input File competent to a local variable and again it gave me the same result NULL value.
I am using ADF Technology JDeveloper 11.1.2.3

You have to process the data inside the value change listener as it's only present during the request. The fats ids removed after the request.

Activate change logs for the table V_T007K

Hi,
Change log check box is activated in table and change logs is activated in system. But still I am not able to view any change logs recorded for the table V_T007K using SCU3 transaction.
I tried by changing some data and than checked the SCu3 transaction. nothing is recorded against the table.
Please let me know what needs to be done to capture the change logs for the changes done to the data in the table V_T007k table.

The table u mentioned V_T007k is not a transparent table
.its a view only for views u cant track changes.
But only for transparent tables u can only track changes thru SCU3
Also u can find the changes in a table from SAP TABLE
CDHDR and CDPOS.

Changes done in options are not effected - not able to change home page

When I do changes in the tools-options menu the same is not effected in the next re-start of firefox. For example if I change my home page to a new web page, the same is not opening in the next restart of firefox. Not only this any change done in the options menu is not effected

But the requirement I have is little different.
I will have some person changing the user information manually,
I need to go somewhere and find out whether the person has made the
changes in user's first name, last name or e-mail id.
So, I am looking out for some FM or table or even standard t-code where
I could find the changes done, and change log lately.

Storing changes done to a selection view of a LDB in a TR

Hi Friends,
I do have a problem while storing the changes done to a LDB selection view in a TR. Please guide me on the same, below is the summary of changes done.
The requirement is as below:
Modified the STD LDB DDF's selection view.
Existing: Payment terms (ZTERM) taken from KNB1.
Required: Payment terms (ZTERM) to be taken from BSID.
So the changes we did are as follows:
Go to SE36>DDF>Extras>Selection views>Copy origin of view SAP to CUS and click on change.
Here we removed the input criteria for KNB1-ZTERM and added BSID-ZTERM as an input field. There was no TR prompted.
Please let us know how to get these changes stored in a TR.
We have also tried adding the below object in a TR# manually, but of no use.

Can you elaborate on your answers...as I have already created CUS (origin of view - a copy of SAP) it is not allowing me to create one more origin of view... can you tell me how to create another origin of view apart from CUS, so that I can start these changes afresh...
Also in SE03 even If i give DSEL and SAPDDFSTANDARD it is not displaying any objects and prompting to give a valid name...

How to clear changes done in a popup.

Hi All,
I am facing a scenario where in a table for each row I am showing a link which opens up a popup showing xml payload attribute for that specific row.
That popup allows user to edit that popup and save the changes.
However, if user makes some changes in the popup and click cancel, the next time he again opens up that popup that previous changes are retained because they are available in entity cache.
The requirement is if the user re-opens the popup after some time, he should see the changes from the database and not from cache.
Any pointers on how to achieve this?

The thing I forgot to add is that on the pop up, there are two components. First one is input text that shows xml payload attribute for the row selected in the table ( for which we are opening the popup ) and the second is a submit button.
The submit button needs to be enabled only if there is a change in the content of input text field. So I have set autosubmit to true on input text field to enable submit button.
The submit button is enabled through a value change listener on the input text field.
Now in this scenario, I need to add a cancel button using which I need to clear the changes done by the user in the input text field.
The resetActionListener does not work in that case.
What approach should I follow to achieve this?

We should rethink if we want to clear hostFormat rather than have a hostFormatChanged flag. If there is no hostFormat at measure then it has to be fixed because there is no line break format to check for auto-size.

Oh my god, it is too long! You definitely check out types, casting and especially ODP.Net (it does everything for you)... etc. They can help you to simplify your code. I do not have enough time to copy paste it to Studio and understand and solve your issue, so I got title of your message as your main question.
In Oracle, you can create an autonumber field by using sequences object. This is really useful when you need to create a unique number to act as a primary key.
Basically you can create a sequence simply typing;
CREATE SEQUENCE MY_SEQUENCE;
now you have a sequence called "MY_SEQUENCE"... Then, I advice you select a number from sequence;
select MY_SEQUENCE.nextval from dual;
I said I advice actually kinda must, although it called sequence, I cannot be sequential. Do not even try to predict the value. You can be sure that it is unique number so you can use it.
Then insert you record and use that number part of your primary key. I think that's it. Have fun.

So, now if we change the data in BO Analysis office (Value-1 changed to Value-2)..
Now the data is changed in SAP BI to Value-2.
So what about the data in ECC ? Whether it is changed or not?
Please provide us a real time business Scenario..
