Changes in PR even after release

Dear Gurus
In purchase Requisition change (ME52N) it is allowing to change PR Quantity and Price even after released from the higher authorities.
What Configuration has to be done so that After release of PO system should not allow to do any changes in Purchase requisition.
Where as the purchase requisiotn changes has to be done only after the higher authority asks to make changes i.e the higher authorities has sent for revision.
Also plz let me know how can the higher authority set the purchase req for Changes in SAP (Any configuration has to be done for that).
Or any customizing settings required.
If the Changes is done in PR then again release strategy should be applicable.
Please guide me.

Hi SHailesh,
In your release procedure for PR's. For the release indicator, in the field changebill enter
Options:
1 - Cannot be changed (no changes possible)
4 - Changeable, but new release in case of value change or strategy change
The above will resolve your issue.

You are telling that this issue happening on some MIRO invoices only but not for all.
check whether all MIRO invoices released by the same user or not?

Cannot see transported items in Queue, even after releasing them.

I cannot see transported items in Queue, even after releasing them. When Iam in transaction: SE09, I am able to see all the released objects, and the check marks next to each one which looks good...Where are these files? Under usr/sap/trans, they show up under logs with nothing in them except log data...Not in Cofiles & datafiles either.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Our developer released them, and I will get more details from him. We can see them when in SE09/10. Just cannot see them in the import queue? Also can't find the files under: usr/sap/trans, except the logs???
We just want to find these files, and either zip them up, or put them on a CD for later use, and this project will wind down soon.
Any other suggestions on how we can find these files, as all exports normally show up in usr/sap/trans/data, and cofiles...but not in this case???.

Changing effect of PO after Release of PO

In our present scenario.First we create the PO and if we go for ME9F or For GR without Releaisng of PO it is giving error message PO is not yet release which is OK, but if we release the PO, and after that if we change the PO it is not asking again for PO release my requirement is that after changing in PO system should not allow to ME9F or MIGO it should again ask for PO release, and also how to see the changes made for a particular PO.

hi,
by means of release indicator we can reinitiate the release after any changes, so, system will not allow to excute the transaction ME9F and MIGO
if you want to see the chages, we can see thru two ways
1. in PO screen after saving the changes you can see in the environment mennu- header changes or item changes
2. by activating version management we can see the changes in the PO screen itself as a seperate tab called version

Can't open bookmarks in a new tab after changing "browser.tabsinsertRelatedAfterCurrent" - even after changing it back.

I changed "browser.tabsinsertRelatedAfterCurrent" in about:config, and then changed it back after it didn't do what I had hoped it would do. The next time I tried to open a bookmark '''from the menu''' (not the little bookmarks button thing), nothing happens when I select "Open in a New Tab."

Bah, I couldn't take it and just did a restore.

Changing default province even after completing billing and shipping address correctly?

I intend to buy in Apps Store, though I completed billing and shipping info with complete address, I am forced to enter value in Province field whereas it is not a mandatory field in my place of stay. Any hints are appreciated.

As I reside in a country with no Province, the field is not applicable. however, I am forced to enter this value when I intend to buy an App in App Store. Is there a way to make this field optional?

Disabling selected Purchase Order field(s) after released/approved

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to disable specific Purchase Order fields after released via ME29N.
For example, in Purchase Requisition - I can "Release Indicator - Field Selection Key" to control Purchase Requisition screen layout. However, for Purchase Order - the configuration for "Release Indicator" consist only standard default "Chgable" options.
Question:
Is there a way to customize the Purchase Order "Release Indicator" for screen layout based on customer requirements other that using the default as mentioned above?

I understand your explanation on the standard SAP behavior.
Nevertheless, I'm looking for some flexibility to meet customer requirement. Like in Purchase Requisition, there is option to further customize the screen layout by linking it to the "Release Indicator".
Therefore, apart from the standard 6 options given by standard SAP, can we add/customize the options? For example, my customer may one to change a field in the Purchase Order even after released.

Changing Header/Item condition after billing has been done

Hi,
I have an issue in which the sales order is incomplete but invoicing has been done. On seeing the change log I found that new condition type has been added after generation of invoice.
Now the user wants that entire header/item condition screen should be greyed out after creation of billing document. can it be done through config or user exit is the way,

Hi,
There is no mechanism to find out if the billing document has been created and sales order will allow changes to pricing even after creation of invoice.
The point is that, it doesnt matter if the sales order is changed after the invoice has been created, since the values from SO has gone into billing.
However, if you still wish to lock changes to order once it is billed, kindly refer to some userexit like MV45AFZZ which works during sales order processing and you may get the billing status from VBUK and VBUP tables.

Space is not released from tablespaces even after purging recycbin

Hi,
I had 168GB of space occupied by recyclebin objects (BIN$...) when i queried on dba_segments, after purging the recyclebin it is showing 0.
But i didn't find any difference in the free space dba_free_space in tablespaces before and after purging.
Is it the thing that even after purging recycbin, it is not released the space for respective Tablespaces?
Also wanted to know how to release the space.

If you have a table X, with segments in tablespace TS, and you drop the table, you now have a recycle bin object BIN$X that owns those same segments in that same tablespace TS. That's why the segments still appear in DBA_SEGMENTS. But Oracle knows that it is free to reuse the segments associated with BIN$X if it runs out of other space to use (and Oracle knows to reuse segments from recycle bin objects in the order they were dropped) so the segments are free in DBA_FREE_SPACE. Just like deleting a file on the file system is just updating a pointer to some sort of file allocation table but not actually removing the bits from the hard drive, dropping an object when the recycle bin is just marking the segments as no longer associated with a real object.
I have no idea whether 11g has changes to recover index names-- you might take a look at the 11g documentation (either the New Features guide or the Flashback Drop docs).

I am stuck as i cant sync or anything on my mobile me account even after changing password can anybody shed some light on this.

If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know that account password, the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise, boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select Utilities ▹ Terminal from the menu bar.
In the Terminal window, type this:
resetpassword
That's one word with no spaces. Then press return. A Reset Password window opens.
Select your boot volume if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
Select  ▹ Restart from the menu bar.
You should now be able to log in with the new password, but you won't be able to unlock the Keychain. If you've forgotten the Keychain password (which is ordinarily the same as your login password), there's no way to recover it. You’ll need to reset your keychain in the preferences of the Keychain Access application.

When i forgot my password and made attempts to open IPAD it got disabled and not able to open even after i have changed my password.

I am not able to open my ipad when forgot password and made several attempts to open it .The message " iPAD is disabled..Connect to itunes" appers.It is not opening even after i changed the password.Need support.

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
2. Connect USB cable to computer, leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

I have have this horror issue with my PC. I have even changed the hardware configuration and the problem still persists. My PC fails to display the desktop correctly after using highly RAM intensive applications, especially Chrome, but even after getting
the chance to close it, or waiting for it to crash by itself, the PC is still not able to display correctly the GUI, even on other browser/applications as shown in the screenshots.
1st Hardware Config:
Intel Core2Quad Q9450
4x2GB DDR2
MSI P43 motherboard
Ati Radeon x550 video card
Software used, that seemed important for me to mention:
NOD32 v4.2
Comodo Firewall 5.12
Chrome
Screenshot Captor
SpeedFan
Other mentions:
Aero is disabled, because I've considered that it's one of the causes.
So, I've considered that it's a RAM issue or a videocard issue, and I've upgraded to:
Intel Core i7 3770k
4x8GB DDR3
Asus P8Z77V-LX motherboard
Intel GPU integrated in the 3770k CPU
The problem just happened 2 times on this rig also, and the RAM was not even coming close to it's maximum capacity of 31.7GB. It was at ~20GB's.
Also, this is another videocard(Intel's integrated GPU), so we can exclude the videocard from the suspects.
My suspects:
1) some desktop manager bugs, or other similar issue
2) video memory allocation - I'm still suspecting that it can be caused by the amount of RAM dedicated to the videocard, currently, I think that it is at 256MB.
3) some poorly designed components of Chrome/Screenshot Captor - still very questionable since there are enough resources on this system, so there should be no fight over resources. And when the system is barely used there are no issues.
4) Adobe Shockwave Flash - maybe this one????
I have attached a set of 20 screenshots here, these were taken on the 1st configuration of my PC, using Q9450:

Notice how it distorts the image by duplicating it and showing it in a smaller space, or how does it displays those black rectangles. In those moments, the PC is fully functional(the apps are running the background), without being slowish or something, but
you can hardly control it like that. For example, I've tried to remove the mouse from the USB, and then I've insterted it back, the image was not displayed correctly, but the mouse was recognised instantly and the pointer was controlable.
Same thing still happens on the new configuration. Please advise me.
LE: OS is Windows 7 x64 SP1 Professional and it's Geniune. There is no cracked software on this PC. No games. I've tried to maintain it as clean as possible.

First, please be ensured that you have installed the latest drivers and all the updates.
Then check whether this issue will not in
Safe Mode. If it didn’t occurred, I suggest you narrow down the cause in
Clean Boot mode.
In addition, try to create a new profile to see how it works.

make sure the outgoing (smtp server) has the updated password also. settings>mail,contact,calendars>then at account>it will say outgoing, smtp or advanced. after clicking on the smtp it will have an option to change that password, delete it and add ur new one

Changed (renamed) device name in Intune app on iOS device. This change is not showing up in the admin portal, even after 24 hours

I am trying to update a mobile devices names. Initially, I changed the iOS device name (Settings->General->About->Name) and then I also renamed the device in the Intune app on the device. Neither of these changes are propagating through
to the admin portal, even after 24 hours. Is there anything else I should be doing for this to work?

I'm seeing the same thing as Simon, I changed the iOS device name in both places on an iOS device and the name in the Intune console is still "iPhone" which is really unhelpful as I'm sure you can imagine. Is there some other place
that we should be going to rename devices so they are more easily identifiable in the Intune console?
