Changes in Service PR

Hello,
I have created a Service Purchase requisition with service no & then Purchase Requisition has been converted to PO.
Now I want to chnage the Serice Qty PR ( to increase), but it is in disable mode , system is not allowing to do any changes...
Can you please provide me the solution ............

Hi Raghunat,
Could you please check the following customizng in your system.
Tr-code: OLME
   ->Environment Data
      ->Define Attributes of System Messages
          ->System messages
               ->check the category of message SE721
In the standard system:
If the message SE721 is set as "E" in the above customizing,
it is not posible to change the service lines after creation of
PO.
If the message SE721 is set as "W" in the above customizing,
it is posible to change the service lines even after creation of PO.
I would appriciate it if you can change the category of message
SE721 to "W" and test the behavior again.

Issue with PO change output - Service line items

Hi All,
This is issue with PO change output. We have PO with line item 10, 20 and item 10 has 4 service line items. PO is approved and initial print out is taken.
Some one goes and makes changes to 1st service line items of PO line item 10.
A change output gets triggered. When this output is printed, it prints line item 10 details. This is standard functionality as this item is changed. But its printing all the service line items for this PO line item. Consider a case where there are 3000 service lines for a PO item. If I add 1 service item to this PO line item, the change form prints 3001 services for that line item. There were no changes done to first 3000 service line items.
Currently PO change form takes care of changes at PO line item but it does not take care of changes at service line item level.
Is there any setting that needs to be done for this so that it only considers the changes at Service line item level also.

If you're using a standard form, send a message to SAP. Otherwise make a change in the form.

Loose track of invoice to credit once changed to "service"

Please explain, this is a question from a customer, this is not the first time we have been asked this, do you have a solutionl.
when you would like to create a "AR credit memo" as a "copy to or from" but it is damaged and should not affect inventory, you change to "service" once this is done the link to the invoice is broken. is there anyway to keep the link betwen the invoice and the credit ??
when a customer sends a debit for an item that is damaged/broken, I need to issue the credit referiing to the original invoice and system should be asking me u201Creturn to stock yes or nou201Du2026..at the moment credit department tells me that if I do not want it back in stock they have to issue a u201Cserviceu201D credit note. By doing it this way, I cannot track damaged goods to debit my suppliers or how much goods we do not put back in stock.

The proper way to handle this should be a normal Credit Memo plus a Goods Issue to take out the damaged items.

I wanted to know if I buy an iphone from india today can I change the service provider when i come to U.S.A. for my studies in Jan

It seems to depend on the country where you bought your phone.
In Australia, with a post-paid account I can have my carrier unlock the phone for free so I can use the phone on a pre-paid account in the States when I am there.
My carrier here gets paid regardless as I am on a 24-month contract.

I have tried ur scenario. Mass change for service master was possible using the TCode: MASS. But if u go to the Tcode:MASS, system asks object type. object type for service is not available in the match code/input help(F4).
At any time, if u want to know the object type for any transaction , goto the Tcode: SW02.(path: SAP Easy access: SAP Menu->tools-> ABAP work bench->overview->business object overview( SW02).
click on materials mgmt.-> external services mgmt.-> service master ( in the tree list).
Object type for service master: BUS1005
this business object is useful for list display for service master records(get list), read detail data for a service master record, create& change service, display object, check existance of object.
object type for attributes in service master: IFSAP
reference table: ASMD
goto SW02, to find object type for any transaction.

Changing Reporting Services Account via SMO

I am in the process of changing our Service Accounts to use virtual accounts in place of using local accounts. I am using SMO to change the SQL Server, SQL Server Agent and Analysis Services accounts to the virtual account and works great. Question
I have, can the Reporting Services account be changed via SMO without disrupting Reporting Services? In the past, an DBA change the reporting services account password without going through Reporting Services Configuration manager, and we lost all of
the data sources for the reports. I was wondering whether or not using SMO will result in the same thing happening or not.

I've not tried this on SSRS but the below link talks about your problem. I would recommend you to have rollback plan in case of any issues. Try this on less critical servers.

U have to use SCAT or BDC Or LSMW only..
If u have created service material using DIEN material type then u can update that by mm17

Cannot change/edit services in SICF

We just upgraded our ECC system from Netweaver 7.01 SP6 to SP8.
We are having this issue after the upgrade. We can edit the services
that already existed prior to upgrade. But, any service that is created
from SOAMANAGER, cannot be edited in SICF. The error message
says "You cannot use this transaction to change the service"
(Message no. SHTTP824). The error's long text says "This means that
only the application has the authorization to use the defined interface
to modify this service". We need to change the service to use
"Standard Logon Procedure" for a basic authentication scenario. We
could not find any setting in SOAmanager for the logon procedure.
Any help will be very appreciated.

There are settings in SOAMANAGER that refer to the log on procedure.
Go to Business-Administration -> Web-Service-Administration and find the WS you would like to edit. Then 'Apply Selection' and go to tab Configuration. There you find settings that refer to the log on procedure.

Change Web Service User Language

Hi ,
I need to change my service providers(web service) user (EHP5). After creating endpoint with no authentication using soamanager (which only have username and password option ), system don't let me change default login language in SICF . Before EHP5 I can change username , password and login language using SICF. Do you have any idea where I can change it ?

Need help with Adobe barcode decoder version 7.0 (PDF 417), changing the service logon user id

Hello I am fairly new to the adobe barcode decoder (PDF 417) application. We have an application that was developed about a while ago, now we are in the process of hosting the whole service in a new machine. Before hosting in new machine we were testing few things in the existing system; currently the adobe barcode decoder is running on an windows server 2003 with the "Local system account" in the Log on tab of the service. We would like to test whether the service can be run using an NT account. We did change the account from LocalSystem to one of the network account and when we start the service, it will stop immediately and getting the following error in the event log.
Event Type: Error
Event Source: AdobeBarcodeDecoder
Description:
The description for Event ID ( 1 ) in Source ( AdobeBarcodeDecoder ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: Problem with the USB key: INITIALIZE.
any help to solve this issue is really appreciated. We checked the access rights of the account that is trying to run the service and the account is part of the local administrators group. But When we change the service account back to "Local System Account" it is working fine. Any idea or am I missing any step?

However, software updates are deploying and installing just fine it seems. I did update my Site Server yesterday manually, like I always do after every Patch Tuesday.
Am I not supposed to patch my Site Server manually, or should I add it to the Software Update Management scheme I have set up in SCCM?

I have split the files into 4 but still its going to dump saying memory too low. i have also increased the memory parameters but no use. Is there any other way to download such huge file onto the presentation server.
