Changes in standard report MB5B

Hi Guys,
I have to add 2 columns in standard report MB5B:
(on selection screen i hv given the material, plant and date.)
1. Description fields of all movement types in standard report MB5B.
2. Calculation of cumulative balance at last column in standard report MB5B.
I can make a copy of this standard report. But I am unable to understand where to add the code as debugging is very difficult in standard report.
If anyone had done this same type of work please help me regarding the same <b>(where to add the code).</b>

Hi
You should create a copy of report RM07MLBD (it's the report ran by trx MB5B).
I think you want to update the layout, this report decide the kind of output to show in routine bestaende_ausgebe (include RM07MLBD_FORM_01) and if parameter XSUM is initial the report use ALV to display the data see routine listausgabe1 (include RM07MLBD_FORM_02).
You can create an your own copy of this report and call the ALV function with the parameters you need.
After create an Z-TRANSACTION (ZMB5B) to run your Z-program.

Why it returns ERROR after I changed some Standard Reports output to XML?

Our EBS is a 11.5.10 CU2 instance.
We just upgrated the XML Publisher to 5.6.1 and did all the work described in section "Post-install Steps" of "About Oracle XML Publisher 5.6.1"(Doc ID: Note:357308.1)
Now we are do the testing.
I changed the Standard Report "Journals - General (132 Char)" output type to XML, then ran it.
It returns ERROR

The log file says that the RDF report actually errored out
and its not a problem in XML Publisher.
REP-1401: 'beforereport': Fatal PL/SQL error occurred.
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error
what you can do to debug is change the output type to text and run the report.
See, if the report runs successfully. I guess, there might be some problem with the report itself.
If the text report runs fine, change the output type to xml and run it.

Standard report for period end stock report

Hi all,
My client is looking for a SAP standard report for material.Their req is as follows.
Open Bal (Stock)
Add: Purchase/Production
Less: Sales/Consumption
Closing Bal(Stock)
I have sugegested them MC.9,MB51,etc....but they are not satified.
They are not willing to go for a 'Z' report too....
Can any one suggest me whether their is any function module or bapi or badi thro' which i can fullfill my clients req. or any other better alternative like report painter,set,etc which suit my requirement.
(can you please let me know from table i can get these datas......just for knowledge purpose)

Hi Janardhan,
As SAP recommended, you should not change the standard report, if u want to get support for future versions.
its better to create a new report by copying old one and adding new field as u want.
Consult your ABAPER regarding this.

Standard Report & Image Column

Hi everybody,
I have a standard report for employees in this report there is an image column displaying the employee photo.
Of course if there is no image in the database for the employee the report won't display anything.
What I want is that if the image column is NULL the report will display a standard NO_PHOTO.JPG image for this employee.. is this possible??
My select statment is simple:

Execute an standard report and sending by email

I've used this FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 for sending email, but I can't use it for executing and sending an standard report (MB5B) by email, how can I do?.

You can use
SUBMIT submitable TO SAP-SPOOL
                    SPOOL PARAMETERS print_parameters
                    WITHOUT SPOOL DYNPRO
                                        AND RETURN.
Here submitable is the name of the program for MB5B transaction.
This will create an entry in table TSP01.
u can read the entry and use the FM for sending email.

Is it possible to change the position of beining of text in a standard report

I am wondering wether it is possible to change the position of the test (the starting point) in a standard report. I would like to print a label with different texts at different positions. If its not possible in a standard report is there any other way to do it.

Hi Mudda, I don't see any way myself to set any particular starting position for your text. It looks like the best way to emulate this behavior would be to add a new line with lots of tab characters or spaces to place your new text at a specific offset from the left. You can also use Append Table to Report and wire in a 2D string array with only a few positions filled in with your various text labels as shown below. This will space text labels pretty well across the page. Try it out and see if it works for you. You could be more clever and build the 2D array programmatically if you wanted more control over position.

query can be created to extract information from master records i.e Infotypes. For example, by creating a query , the data relating to an employee contained in various Infotypes can be extracted.
Proceedure :
Decide on the various Infotypes we want to make the query. Decide on the area where we want to query i.e Global area or Standard area. Standard area is client specific and globel area will include all clients.
Menu : HR u2013 PM u2013 Admn - Information System - Adhoc Query
Select area standard and select the user group already created
Creation of new query :
TC SQ03 - Select Environment u2013 Select Standard Area - Enter -- If new user group is to be created, enter name of the user group, click on create and enter necessary information and exit after saving
TC SQ02 - Enter name of the Infoset u2013 Create u2013 enter name of Infoset - Data source -- > Table join by basis table u2013 give name of table e.g pa0000 - Enter - Click on insert table if we want to include more tables u2013 give name of table one by one and after finishing, place cursor on the joining lines and right click to delete unwanted relationships - check - and go back - field groups - include all table fields - click on generate button - go out
TC SQ03 - Select user group - eg. Payroll
Infoset - Enter name of newly created Infoset
Assign users and Infosets - Assign infosets - put tick on payroll - save and go back
TC PAAH - Expand the nodes and put tick on relevant fields depending upon necessity
Save the query by giving the same name as infoset for easyness..

Hi all,
can any one tell me how toi make the changes for a standard report as per the client requirment.
This is a report for RFQ price comparision,there is a SAP standard report available with tarnsaction code ME49.But some modificatios are required in the format.
How should I do this.

I checked the transaction ME49 and found that it is based on a executable report called RM06EPS0. Also it is very much possible to make changes to this repor using the enhancement points. I found that already the report provides a lot of enhancement points. Here have a look:-

Standard report to find changes in purchase contract

Dear all,
is there in SAP a standard report to find changes in contract - ME31K?
For example:
I have the contract with number AAAAA and Creation date: XXYYZZZZ. I change some header information on date: CCDDEEEE, Creation date of the change document. I need a report with input parameter Creation date of the change CCDDEEEE and output information Agreement Number AAAAA.

The changes can be seen in the contract.
Alternatively, you can use the report CHANGEDOCU_READ (in SE38) to get the change documents. The object class for all purchasing documents (RFQ, PO and Outline Agreements) is EINKBELEG.
