Hi All,
I have added some custom fields in Infotype 21 in the dev environment. But, the changes are not reflecting in the testing environment. Can anyone share their thoughts.

Yes, we can identify any screen changes from sy-datar. It is set when I make any changes in the custom screen also. But I dont want to give a pop up every time I leave the custom screen. I want to give raise a pop up for saving the delivery document just like any other SAP screen (For eg. SAP Screens do not give a pop up when we move from one screen to another screen, but it gives a pop up if we try to do a subsequent functions like picking without saving the changes in delivery).

If you want to delete all fields of the customer include do the following:
- SE11
- mark 'Data Type'
- put in the name of your customer include (e.g. CI_P0491)
- click on the delete button
- you'll get a warning, that this include is still used and that all dependent tables will be regenerated
- confirm
- customer include is gone
- In case you already added those fields to your infotype maintenance (PA30) through transaction 'PM01' you will get a dump when using PA30 for that infotype because it still tries to access the additional fields which do not exist in the dictionary any longer. You need to remove your custom fields from the infotype. Go to SM30 for table T582C and you'll find the custom includes that were generated. Just remove the entries for your infotype and you shouldn't get the dump any more.

How to display success message when data is changed in the custom tab in MM

Hi,
I have added a new custom data tab in the MM01/MM02/MM03 transactions. Whenever I do changes to fields in the custom tab in MM02 transaction, and no changes in the standard tabs, I will get a message stating "No Changes Made".
But if I do changes in the standard tabs, it works as usual with display of message "Changes to particular material has been done.
Please let me know, if anyone of you know, how to display the success message if the changes to the custom tab is done.

Hi Sudhanva,
The exit EXIT_SAPLMGMU_0001 is a function exit that you can use for custom validation but not to add custom tab/screen.
But the message issued by SAP is not related to this Function Exit.
If you have used a Screen Exit, then there must be some Function Exits also in the same Enhancement using which you can assign the value of custom fields to/from the standard structure. Thus when the value of any custom field is changed the system can understand that the some changes have been changed and will not issue the message.
In case you have used a BADI, there can be other methods in the BADi using whcih you can assign the value of custom fields to/from the standard structure. This might also prevent the message from being displayed.
I could try giving you further details if you can provide the name of the Enhancement/BADi that you used to add the additional tab.

Identifying changes in the custom screen added to Delivery

Hello,
I have added a custom screen in delivery transaction(VL02n) at header level. I used BADI LE_SHP_TAB_CUST_HEAD to do that. Now if user comes and enters some data on the custom screen, then goes to menu option Subsequent processing-->Create Transfer Order, user is not prompted with a pop up screen to save changes.
It happens with SAP Standard screens for any data changes. How do we achieve the same functionality to prompt a popup message for any changes in the custom screen and save the data?

The Work phone number which I deleted is not reflected in Lync Client. It's been more than 48 hours since I deleted the work phone number in AD. But still the same number listed in the lync contact card. Client policy has been set to 'File download
only' and Lync client Galcontacts.db has the present date so no issues in downloading the address book file.
I did the following but the issue is same.
>> Forced the address book by shell commands in Lync server to get the new full file generated but no luck after.
>> Added 'GalDownloadInitialDelay' reg key but still issue persists.
>> Deleted all suggested contacts, frequent contacts from outlook contacts and also deleted the 'ContactStateCacheU' registry key but no luck.
Please let me know if anyone has this issue fixed.

So the user is EV enabled and has a LineURI. Is that LineURI number the same number that you removed from AD? For example:
1. I removed (555) 555-1212 from my Work Number AD field for John Doe
2. John Doe has a LineURI of tel:+15555551212
If so, that is expected. LineURIs are also taken into consideration when building a user's contact card. If you do not want this number to show up in the GAL, you will need to look at a
private line for that user.

I am trying to work on an example of "Customizing the Query and Creating an Associated Custom Method"

XCM changes in the custom app is reflecting in standard b2b xcm!!

Hi All,
We have scenario, that we have 4 applications. Two B2B and two BOB. We have used 4 tracks for creating custom applications. The applications are getting build and deployed successfully on J2EE engine.
The XCM links for the custom applications are accessible. The XCM settings were copied from the XCM settings we have maintained for standard application.
Now our concern is, when we change the XCM settings of any custom application, then standard as well as other 3 custom applications' XCM settings also changes.
How can we control this? we want the XCM settings for all the 4 custom applications to be independant. Is it possible with standard configurations?

I have created 4 XCM scenarios for 4 applications. Two scenarios i have kept for standard applications, which have best practice settings.
I need one more help, out of 4 applications, we want to show prices in only one application. So i have create customer scenarios in IPC of application for isabasket and isacatalog. there i have created some custom components for hiding prices.
Even in webcatalog component of internet sales, i have created one more custom component, for hiding price.
But in Order page i still see the prices, when i am attaching the correct XCM scenario configuration in the custom application.
Kindly suggest, can we hide prices in order using XCM or we have to hide the prices on the JSP level?

iam using eclipse IDE, JBoss server, SWING GUI and Oracle DB
( looks like : SWINGGUI (Client) <--> EJB's (serverside) <---oracle )
my problem is , when i make change in server side bean file, that changes are not reflecting in GUI programs.
(for ex: iam adding settr and getter for a field and using that in GUI program. but its not identifying that setter or getter).
please tell me what should i do for every change done to server side program, that should reflect / available to GUI?

The classpaths you define in your Flash software tell the compiler where to look when it needs to find a class. According to your as file, the very top line indicates the Greeter.as file should be at a location specified by the path...
one-of-your-classpaths\com\example\quickstart\
So if one of your classpaths is: C:\Documents and Settings\Igal\My Documents\meiran\greet\
and you placed the file in the greet folder, then in your AS document you should not have the "com\example\quickstart" and your import statement in the fla should not be using that (should just be... import Greeter;)

Deployement changes are not reflecting on Test Server

I have Local (development)environment , I have deployed this application in Test envoirment as well and working fine.
I have identified some changes and made changes on local machine and tested, now I am trying to deploy same changes on Test.
The changes are not getting reflect on Test.
I have stoped application and have import the MSI file also selected Overright resources check box same time, restarted the host instance and start application.
Changes are not getting reflated on Test server. Should I needs to GAC some thing manually on Assembly ? How ????
What else I can do to get it working ?
Note : Also have tried to delete application from TEST Env and imported MSI from DEV still same issue.

you need to run the MSI after it is imported, ths GAcs the dll (and also
adds the MSI package to show up under Add/Remove programs). If you just want to GAC the compoent.
Goto Resources folder on hyour application in Biztalk admin console
Select the assembly in Resource, right click, select Modify
Under Modify Resources - Options box, check the "Add to the Global Assembly Cache on MSI file import"
Repeat for each Assembly or other resources in your application that you want in the GAC.
The above option is using an msi. other option is simply gac the file to c:\Windows\assembly folder (either using gacutil command or copying the assembly to this folder)
