Changes in the report are not appearing

Hello All,
I have the following command
Run_Product(REPORTS, 'tpd_subst_rep', SYNCHRONOUS, RUNTIME, FILESYSTEM, pl_id, NULL) in the form.
I have changed the report tpd_subst_rep but I am not able to see the changes. Can any one please explain from where the old report is appearing?
I have senn the documentation which is telling that it will look tpd_subst_rep in a default path, but how to see what is the default path?

I'm using a later version so I am unsure as to whether the layout etc. will be the same.
I don't know if it helps, but I may have misled you. Do you have the Object Navigator? If I condense all my options, I'm left with Forms, Menus, PL/SQL libraries, Object Libraries, Built-in packages, Database Objects.
Go into 'Forms' (1st option), your module will be listed, open that using the + next to it and in the list that is displayed, one of the options will be 'Reports'. Then open that using + and follow my instructions as before to find the filename path. This will tell you whether it is referencing your .rdf or your .rpt. Presumably it should be .rpt, so it will tell you where that is being saved.
I then opened my .rdf and just used 'Save As' to save it with a .rpt extension, using the address path taken from the Forms property palette of your report. That should then save your changes and update the file in Forms.

Did you ever find a reason as to why the bars were not printing? I'm experiencing the same problem with Apex 4.1.1. Only the first part prints. Here is the print tag:
<print mode="MultiPage" print_all_columns="true" columns_on_every_page="2" fit_timescale_to_end_of_page="false">
I've changed some of these settings to no avail.

Changes in Crystal reports are not reflecting after publishing

Dear SDN Mates,
We are facing problem with Crystal reports. After making the changes in the crystal reports, it is not reflecting in the portal after publishing. Still it is showing the older version of the report.
Can anyone please help me on this.

After publishing the report, we require some changes in the report and doing some modifications in crystal report and again we are publishing this report. After publishing the report for second time, those changes are not reflecting in the BOE portal.
This is happening for all reports. Can you please suggest me on this.

While running the trnasaction KOC4, Some orders are not appearing.which are appearing in KKBC_ORD.

Some pages may not have all the fields in the xml even though they are being shown on the UI.
Possible reasons I can think of are:
1) Beans are rendered dynamically through controller code
2) Page is using regions or other pages by extending them. There is Extends property in Property Inspector and if filled, those attributes from the extended page can also be seen.
3) Personalization to add elements on the page

The menues are not appearing for me to work on a photo, even though the program has downloaded?

The meues are not visable on the photoshop window to work on a photo. I downloaded a bunch of photos to work on but all I can do is archive or rename. How do I get to edit them? Where are the menues? I downloaded the program and it is open.

Most menus will be greyed out until you have an image open, but you can do that via the file menu, or using Ctrl o (Cmd o). Does that work?

Changes in the RDF are not affecting the report

Hi All,
Greetings.
I have D2K which is working fine from a couple of years. we had encountered an error recently and we have found the cause of it in the formula column of the RDF and made changes accordingly. We are sure that the changes we made in the formula column will resolve the issue.But, the changes are affecting the output.What could be the cause for it?
The report is called from the form and the RDF is in the report server which is being called on pressing the button. We are sure with the location of the RDF file in the sever path.
We encountered the same problem with other report which is having the layout problem.
Do we need to restart the report server every time we made changes to the RDF ?

Changes to the infoobject are not reflecting in the query Desinger level.

Hi All,
We removed some Attributes to one characteristic and transported into QA.
The removed attributes are not getting in BEx query designer in Dev, But we are getting those removed attributes in the context menu of that particular Char in BEx Designer in QA.
We checked in the Characteristic level, those removed Attributes are not there in Info object level but still those Attributes are displaying in BEx designer level in QA.
And info object showing as gray color even though we activated the info object, We think this may be the cause to not reflect the changes to BEx Designer level.
Can any one suggest us to resolve the issue.

Hi Raju
Go to transation RSRT enter one of the reports and click to Generate Report. If this solves your problem then you can go to Environment\generate queries directly to regenerate the impacted queries.

The tasks are not appearing in MPP (but appears once we select show all subtasks)

Hi,
when i open a MPP, none of the tasks are appearing in the task tab, but when i select view--> outline-->show all subtasks, it appears.
Please let me know what is the option to hide all tasks when the user opens a mpp.

Hi Shamsudeen,
As far as I know, there is not such an option.
The project plan will be displayed as it was saved at the last opening. Meaning if the project manager reduce all tasks then save and close, the plan will be as is for the next opening.

Change / Customize the "You are not connected to the Internet" screen?

Well the title says it really. *I'd like to change the page Safari displays when not connected to the Internet.* Working for a business that sells Macs, I'd prefer something that looks a little nicer when the network is down.
I know that it's a Localizable.strings file...
(located here: Safari.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/Localizable.strings )
*But if I change the wording in the file, when trying to load up the error page, I'm presented with "localized string not found".*

I screwed the edit up but: duplicate the file to be safe before the edit and only edit 2nd text area after =,

Get the aforementioned error. I have modified my Data Source many times trying different settings. I created a SQL Login called RS_Subscriber, local machine acct the same name, added the same as a user for our database and the ReportServer database. Tried
with and without the Use as Windows credentials when connecting to the data source checked. I Test the connection okay but keep getting the #$^^$& error message.
Does anyone have explicit instructions on what type of account, where to create the account, what rights the account needs in order for the stored data source credentials to work?

Hi, This is because SSRS requires a Login to connect to the datasource to process the report when subscription will be occuring at its scheduled time. I would recommend you to store the credential securily into report server.
GoTo: Report>Properties> Click on the Data Sources tab and you will see following options:
a)A shared data source
b)A custom data source
Use option b) and click on option Credentials stored securely in the report server
and provide credential information and further you can use options: Windows credentials and Impersonate the authenticated User if you require. Click on apply button.
*You can use any option of them provided in first option(a) also using the shared data source which is having credential saved into report server.
Once you have done with above you will be able to create subscription.

My songs in the playlist are not appearing on my ipad 2 after syncing.

I bought my ipad 2 from san farncisco 2 months back. now in my i tunes i have 6 playlist. out of 6..4 of th playlist are fully syncronised but the other 2 playlist are partially synced...i have updated it to 4.3.5 firmware but still the problem persists...and the ame songs as per playlist i have synced in my iphone i dint get any problem..kindly help..

So you have completed the challan & update of Bank challan steps?
I implemented CIN in India in Summer 2009 & we found a number of issues & bugs with the standard code, particularly around the TDS process. During the J1INMIS processing we found that a number of tables were not being updated (Challan update) & we had to copy & fix the code ourselves as J1INMIS (so I'm lead to believe) is not supported by SAP any longer.

Most Popular Items Report: items listed in report are not the document names or titles

I have a document library that's loaded with typical corporate ppt, word, and pdf files. When I run a Most Popular Items report on the library, the list of items displayed in the report are not the document file names or document titles.
Instead, the report is showing information that seems to pulled from within the content itself.
For example, there's a new corporate ppt template in the document library and the Most Popular Items report shows the sharepoint url for the ppt file as being one of the most popular items. Let's say that the file is named Standard_ppt_template.ppt.
The url for one of the most popular items reflects that in the URL. However, the item is listed in the Most Popular Item as "Company Confidential". The report seems to be pulling the words "Company Confidential" listed in the
footer of the ppt template and showing that as the most popular content item.
Is there a reason or setting why the Most Popular Items report is not returning a list of items based on either the file name or the document title?

According to your post, my understanding is that the PPT files items in the “Most Popular Items” report display these items’ names seem to be pulled from the PPT files’ content.
Per my test, the Word, Excel, PDF, .txt, .png files items in the “Most Popular Items” report will display these items’ names based on the corresponding items’ title value if they have, or the corresponding file name if these items don’t have the title value.
However, it’s by design that the PPT files items in the “Most Popular Items” report will display these items’ names only based on the beginning of these PPT files’ content rather than these files’ names and the corresponding items’ title value.
