I just remembered a similar problem we had with reports. Changes weren't visible after transport, however, when we opened the report and saved it in the report designer, the changes were visible. It had something to do with authorisations, most users missed the authorisation to 'generate' the report which was needed after transport. Maybe you can try opening the template with a SAP_ALL user or something on production to see if it's related (or test again on QAS with a new template and a user with limited authorisations.

I use Project Professional 2013.
Changes to subtasks are not reflected in the summary tasks. This includes both work and actual work as well as % complete. The tasks are all auto scheduled. Is there a setting that I need to change?

The only way I know to make that happen is if calculate project after every edit is disabled (See Options, Schedule tab).
Does this happen in all project files, for other PCs near you and do you have SP1 installed for Project 2013?

Changes are not reflected after editing and saving the chart in th WAD 3.5

Hi all,
I have to display the chart in the report using WAD 3.5. But after creating a chart and then when ihave to make extra changes again and save the same, the changes are not reflected. I can see only the previous changes.
I am working on the chart for the first time. please let me know about the problem. My changes to the chart are not getting reflected.

How r u changing the graph??
Hope you are doing a right click and selecting Edit Chart. Click on Refine.
Then Click on Next till you get the button Complete. After you click on Complete, you save the Template.

We are facing problem with Crystal reports. After making the changes in the crystal reports, it is not reflecting in the portal after publishing. Still it is showing the older version of the report.

After publishing the report, we require some changes in the report and doing some modifications in crystal report and again we are publishing this report. After publishing the report for second time, those changes are not reflecting in the BOE portal.
This is happening for all reports. Can you please suggest me on this.

Indent changing is possible but changes are not reflecting after refresh

I am facing one issue with alignment in the BEX. i need to changed the the result rows. initally the indent is 2 , am changing it to 1 and saving as existing report. after refreshing the workbook. the changes are not reflecting. can anybody provide me some inputs on these. any help is appreciated.

Changes to password are not reflected immediately in the application

If I change the password either from the console or through the application
itself, the change are not reflected immediately. They are reflected when I
shutdown both the admin server and managed server and bring them up. I think
the previous password is cached somewhere. If so, how to refresh it. When I
am changing the programatically ie using
User.changeCredential(oldPassword,newPassword);
I am refreshing the realm by using RealmMBean.refresh() . But it is not
working. Right now i am using default file realm. Can anyone tell what i
am missing here

If your custom user extends DefaultUserImpl then you can update the password
in that instance within the method User.changeCredential(...) as
Construct the userinfo object with the old password
Authenticate the user against the realm with the userinfo -- returns the
customuser
customuser.setCredential( ** new passsword**) (setCredential method of
DefaultUserImpl)
update the file/database

Changes to component not reflected after transport

We recently modified the BT115QIT_SLSQ assignment block to rearrange some of the fields and column headers and also add in some newer standard fields. When transported up to quality, we noticed that only some of the changes came in, but others did not. Looking at the setup in the component workbench, it looks identical to the setup in DEV and we didn't receive any errors on the transport. I do notice the View Navigation tab is now gone in quality and we were getting a "Error in runtime repository' error when we opened up the component in quality which has disappeared all of a sudden. The changes that do come in work fine.
I tried to do a comparison between the repository.xml files between the 2 environments but they are identical. This was verified using WinMerge, a file comparison utility.
What else could be causing the changes to the component to not reflect correctly or for that View Navigation tab to be missing?

When u transport the Enhanced component to Quality/Prod system the SICF node for that component in SICF transaction will be deactive in the target system, Activate the SICF node for all the enhanced components by right clicking in the SICF transaction manually in the Quality system, this will remove the 'Error in runtime repository' error.
If you have added the custom fields through UI configuration tool, go to the personalize option for the view/component, select 'Reset to default' option.

Custom theme changes are not reflecting after SP upgrade in Portal 7.3

The landscape has the integration of Web Dynpro ABAP components in Portal. The custom font color set for the field name is not reflecting, instead it show the font color in blank.

Metadata changes in Lightroom are not reflected in Premiere Pro C

Hello everyone. I am having trouble with my current workflow. I am shooting RAW with a Canon 7d using Magic Lantern. I use raw2cdng to transform the mlv(raw) files to cdng. I then use lightroom to color correct my DNG files. I use lightroom to save the new metadata info to my files. Those changes that I make are reflected in file explorer, but when I import the files to Premiere Pro using the MediaBrowser the color corrections that I made in lightroom are not being shown. What am I doing wrong? Why is Premiere Pro not reading my metadata info correctly? I appreciate all of your help.

Selection-screen texts are not shown after transporting to QAS server...

We created a custom transaction for MB52(Display warehouse stocks) named ZMB52.
After I transported it to QAS server, the texts in the selection screen are shown
as for example, p_bukrs, etc. When I looked at its text elements, it is maintained
in German Language. My question is, should I translate it to English? And How do I
properly transport it.

Have you created your own Selection screen Text elements
or you simply copied the Std ones
If you have created on your own it should have asked for the request and should have been transported with the request
since you copied them as it is it is not displaying in ENglish language
Translate to english and see
otherwise create them in DEV with a request and transport it.

Navigational attributes are not visible after transport

hi,
i have created five new info objects and added these to 0custome as navigational attributes,then i have switched thes on as navigational attributes in 0sold_to info object.every thing is working fine in deveopment.
when i transport these into quality, for 0customer i am able to see these new info objects as navigational but in 0sold_to these new info objects are visible as display attributes.I want tehse to be as navigational attributes..
can any one tell me where have i gone wrong..

Request 1: Select the Necessary objects of Info Provider
Request 2: Select Data Flow before and Afterwards
if you practice this you will not miss any objects

I am using CQ 5.5 and was installed service pack 2.
1. We make package from SVN or through maven build to the CQ dev server.
2. JSP changes perfect but /var/classes java files contains old code(i.e new JSP file complitation is not happening )
3. Only when we restart server, /var/classes reflecting with new code other /var/classes have old code only.
What is best procedure to re-compile JSP with out Restart server.

Adding additional field in cProject is not working after transporting

My intention is to add additional field in cProject. So i copied a required view through program BSP_CUSTOMIZE and into another Z* BSP Application object. Then i had done the necessary modification on the view and saved. Then copied error.do controller and actived and tested in development server. It was working fine. So i moved the transport request for this object to quality system. When i tried to test the same thing in quality system, changes done in views are not reflecting.
When i checked the entries in table BSP_APPLC, i didnt find any. I hope this is the reason why my changes in views are not reflected.
Can anyone have idea, why it is not happening so. Kindly help.

Ensure that in table BSP_APPLC is an entry for cprojects linking to your own aplictaion Zcprojects and is activated.
I guess you have to reactivate the BSP_CUSTOMIZE in target system again.
Please remeber: BSP_CUSTOMIZE is not supported officially.

Changes are not reflecting in QA after transport

Hi Everyone,
I am having an issue with the transport in PI. After making the changes in development, i exported the tpz file to Quality. The changes got reflected. Then for testing purpose some changes were done in the Quality IR. Now i again exported the tpz file from dev to QA. But the same changes are not reflecting.
Has anyone faced such a problem? Need your help experts.

Check in IR > Environment> cache status overview. Is it in green status??
Check if the import of .tpz file is successful in quality IR??

Also, check if there are any conflicts in the IR of quality system??

I got a problem in WAD. Changes are not Reflecting in My WAD. When i created NewQuery in WAD by just placing Chart & Saved it. After executing Chart is displaced.Again I updated the same query by placing table and saved it. After Executing Table is not displayed only previously saved Chart is displayed. Could any one Kindly solve my Problem.

Hi Sony,
SAP BI has HTTP Cache and the web templates are stored in the HTTP cache of the server. So, when you change a template and execute it again - the previous version which is stored in the HTTP cache is being retreived.
To correct this, go to TCODE SMICM in the menu bar >> Goto >> HTTP Server Cache >> Invalidate -> Global in system
Once this is done, ask basis to restart the java engine.
