Changes in your account couldn't be saved.

Hi supporties
when i got my CC I signed in with my working email (stupid me). Now i wanna change that email, but it tells me "Changes to your account couldn't be saved." (well in german). What can I do? and I know that the email i typed in is right, so it can't be a spelling mistake or similar.
I can't use the old email anymore. But the CC is my private account. So please help me.

The CC is based on the email by which you have created the Adobe ID, it can not be changed. In case you would like a different Email for the CC, you need to cancel the present CC & then re-purchase a different CC under the Email that you desire.
Technically you need to just sign out & sign back out of the CC with the new Email.

    OK sorted it myself - had to "stop sharing" and reinvite - one irritation is that on the iPad, by default sharing confers edit rights which I did not want. Attempts to change to View Only apparently don't work but it may be there is a time delay - anyway whatever - it seems OK now

    Unfortunately it's not possible to change that address and if you create a new account you can't transfer your existing content.
    if you don't like the email address you have created, you might create an alias and use that instead.

  • Discussions Account couldn't be updated due to system error?

    Like everyone else, I was excited to check out the new Support Communities design and functionality when it was launched on Saturday. Unfortunately, when I tried to sign in, I got a message that said: "We're Sorry. Your account couldn't be updated due to a system error." It gave me a short form to fill out for help. I did that and still am not able to sign in. Right now, I'm writing from an old Apple ID in order to post this message. The ID that I normally use (and can't use now) has lots of posts, points, etc, and I really need to recover that.
    Interestingly, if I search for the username associated with that Apple ID, it comes up and shows all of my posts and my profile, with all of my points intact. So, the information is still there...I just can't access it. Also, the ID works everywhere other than the Support Communities (such as iTunes Store and Apple Store online).
    Has anyone else run into this problem? If a Host happens to see this, I'd love any suggestions as to how to get this straightened out. I was quite active on the old discussion boards and would like to continue to be on the new version!

    I got an email directly from the apple person who manages the support communities. He's been helping lots of people out with the transition. It turns out the root of my problem was having the same email address associated with the two different Apple IDs as the "primary email address." If you have two IDs, that could also be your problem. Make sure they all have different email addresses.

    Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your cache.  If it continues to fail try using a different browser.

    MacBook Pro

    I have a current/valid Premium Skype account with an Online Number
    Everytime I try and change a call forwarding setting (on/off or enter a # to fwd to), I get the error message
    "Your change couldn't be saved. Check the Setting and try again."
    I've rebooted everything., uninstalled, reinstalled, updated, checked for updates, All of my privacy settings are set to Anyone/Everyone, the only thing I haven't done is called an exorcist.....oh wait I'm on the phone with Microsoft...(Parent Company for Skype) and.......They first point me to this website.....I decline the info, letting them know I've searched all the forums and support both Skype related sites had to offer and they xfer'd me to a tech support rep who should be able to assist and All they can do is point me back here.
    So here I am. Please help me.

    I am also getting the same message. I am trying to set up call forwarding in "skype client".
    I have malaysia mobile phone number from "maxis hotlink". I am trying to forward all skype incoming calls to my online number and skype client to my mobile phone number in Malaysia. But every time I click on save button, it shows  " settings not saved" "sorry. your new settings could not be saved at this time. please try again later."
    I can set up call forwarding number in skype secure login page in the website. But it is not working as well.
    This is something very serious as before 24 hours everything was fine.

    Hi mterry1723, one solution that might be worth trying is this:
    - Close iTunes, if it's open
    - Open Safari and got to 'Preferences'
    - Select 'Security' on the top
    - Untick all the security options in the menu
    - Click the 'Show Cookies' button and look for all the 'apple' entries in the left-hand column.
    - Highlight them (select them collectively) and press 'Remove'
    - Now open iTunes and buy the song as usual.
    - You may be asked to do the same security process as before, so do as asked.
    - Hopefully, the security check will now have accepted your answers and start downloading the song as normal.
    Remember to re-tick all the required security options you had just un-ticked in Safari preferences. You don't need to bother about opening the cookies again.
    I hope this has worked for you and my profoundest apologies if it has not. Worth a go, though!

    I sent a Family plan invite to my wife's email address. After resting her password (perhaps she's not the one who made the account?) she tried to accept the invite by entering the token. She was told: We couldn't add you to the Family plan as your account needs to be based in the same country as the Family plan owner. We checked and both profiles show USA as the country. What's the hang up?

    Can you check if the country of both accounts match? You can check this by going to the Account Overview page.
    If one of the accounts doesn't match, then change it to the right country.

    Yesterday, I purchased a $0.99 application without issue and installed it. It works fine. Today I am attempting to install a free application from the iTunes store and after I am bounced to the home screen and the new application icon is displayed (beginning to download) I get a prompt "Your account information has changed. Go to the iTunes Store on your computer and update your Billing Info."
    I went to the iTunes store at www.apple.com and logged in. I updated all of my billing information including re-entering my credit card number and whatnot. Everything seemed to be up to date already, and it accepted the changes without issue.
    I re-attempted to download the app (along with others) and I get the same message.
    I go to myinfo.apple.com and go through the "wizard" and all of the information is correct and I saved it to make extra sure. I go back to download, and same error message.
    I'm not sure what else I can do at this point. I can't download/install apps, and my billing info on iTunes Store is up to date and correct!
    Anyone have any ideas?

    All of the sudden I can no longer make purchase on my iPhone either, and I get the same EXTREMELY frustrating billing info has changed message. I have done everything that I can find on every forum:
    1) Updated my already correct billing info and saved it
    2) Updated my already correct addresses/contact info on my apple info page on the web
    3) Logged in and logged out of itunes
    4) Deauthorized and reauthorized my computer
    5) Soft reset of iphone
    6) Synced my iphone with my macbook
    7) Made a new purchase on my computer and agreed to the new terms of service
    8) Yelled at my iphone (this one is very satisfying)
    I'm out of ideas. Someone please help. I want to give Apple money and it shouldn't be this difficult.

    I changed my email address, and so I went in and changed my Apple ID as well. iCloud panel on my Mac is still stuck on the old email address. I clicked on Sign Out and it told me: "Your iCloud account couldn't be removed at this time. Turn off all iCloud services and try again." How do I do that? All the check boxes are grayed out. I tried entering my password, but it rejected that. I changed my Apple ID password, but it won't accept the new one either. How the heck do I "Turn off all iCloud services and try again"?

    Do you remember all the apps you signed out of to make this work? I signed out of iMessage, calendar, itunes, app store, and facetime, yet I still have the same problem... Keychain won't uncheck....

    I'd like to update my last name (married) and my email address. However, I get an error message "Your account settings could not be saved". No further explanation or required field, cause, or logic. Please explain further. Also, when attempting to change email, "Resend validation" does nothing.

    Try another browser. Also sign out of your local CC apps. As long as you are signed in, certain types of information cannot be changed since changing them on the server database may invalidate your sign-in. If it still doesn't work contact support by web chat.

  • Can anyone tell me if the apple ID area of the site is having issues?  I have tried most of the day to change my apple ID in "manage your account" and it will not accept or allow me to change it.  This is irritating since it now requires an email address

    Can anyone advise if apple is having issues with the APPLE ID portion of their site?  I have been trying all afternnon to update my apple id from "Manage your account".  It will not allow a revision with the instructions given.  THis is most irritating since with the new update your apple ID must now be your email address which is incredibly old and I would certainly like to change it to my current email address!
    You have the option to do that but THAT OPTION is also not working at this time.

    I am having the same problems.  Firstly found out that I had a duplicate email address on two apple ids so I fixed that but now it wont let me verify the email address.  When I click on "verify email address" nothing happens.  So frustrating cos cant set up Facetime or iMessage on my iPad.
