Changes made in Lightroom3 don't print

Sometimes, the edits made in LR 3 are not applied when I print. They also do not show correctly if I choose them as the desktop background accuratly (afterexporting it as a jpg file).
The photo is colorful but my desktop is not!
I've exported a number of files and then printed them through windows. Some print fine and some don't.
What am I doing wrong here? What setting am I missing?

Let me say this in a different way.
When I take my exported jpg files and open the photos in Paint Shop Pro, the color enhancments that I previously made in LR3 are gone.
Why does Win 7 show the thumbnails of these files with the vibrant colors but window wont print them and they also don't show up in Paint Shop Pro?

Changes made on iPod don't appear when connected to iTunes

Long story short, iTunes doesn't like it when I make changes through my iPod, and tries to "fix" them.
If I delete a song or make changes to a playlist through the iPod itself, that change doesn't show up in iTunes. Deleted songs will be unplayable, but still appear. Newly created playlists may or may not appear. Deleted playlists are still there. Songs added to a playlist don't appear in the playlist, songs deleted from a playlist still appear in the playlist.
If I make a change to my iPod through iTunes itself, it reflects that change on my iPod, but also reverts any changes I've made through the iPod (so, if I remove a song from a playlist through my iPod, then connect to iTunes and remove a song from a playlist through iTunes, the song I removed through iTunes will be removed from my iPod, but the song I removed through my iPod will reappear). It will also occasionally re-load songs I've deleted entirely, though they'll be greyed out and unplayable.
As you may imagine, this is really annoying.
I have all types of automatic syncing turned off, and I don't store any music in iTunes itself once it's been put on my iPod.
I just want iTunes to show me what is on my iPod right now, and not revert back to whatever image it seems to have stored of my iPod when I try to make changes through iTunes. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

BUG? Keywords (and other changes) made in bridge don't show up in lightroom

When I put keywords to images in Bridge _after_ editing them in lightroom, they never show up in lightroom.
And seems like color labels doesn't change if I try to do it in Bridge. Bridge shows new color label, lightroom shows old one.
and no, image is not open in lightroom when giving keywords in bridge.

I do not have that problem, but I am sympathetic to how much you dislike the LR keywording system. You would think Adobe would adopt a single system for all their related apps?
The best way i found to deal with it is to have both apps write to the xmp suidecars(for RAW)and to make sure there is a copy of ACR 3.7 8bi in the file format folders of all Adobe apps that I interchange files to and from. Presumably, by the time Bridge 2 and PS CS3 are out of Beta, all three apps will be on the same page using ACR 4.
My setup does work without a hitch--but I do not like the LR keywording at all. Like many attributes of LR, it is simplistic and largely designed for the new or casual user (and those that shoot or process the same category of images day in and day out (weddings, etc), rather than for someone with an existing, large DB and established workflow--and hundreds of diverse subject images a day to do!
I do all my keywording, renaming, and initial sorting and culling in Bridge CS3, and it goes at least two to three times faster than using LR for those workflow functions, and that is not due to inexperience with LR, but rather to far better workflow design for those functions in Bridge- tabbed, rather than a slider, driven interface for "developing" in bridge is also part of that better design.
I am using LR for its Develop module only--all the other modules fall far short of what I need and presently use--especially the Library--and doing that simply because Bridge 2 has a terrible memory leak and numerous beta bugs and interfaces more poorly with beta PSCS3 than LR (and that is not to say that LR does a sterling job at at all) for the moment
Maybe Adobe can get the Bridge and LR teams together over lunch and politely (but firmly)tell them to get the best of the common features from each into both.

Using the Open button in ACR to get to PS doesn’t create a PSD or a TIF, it just transfers the image in memory.
As has been asked, already, what are the precise steps of your workflow starting with your painting the adjustment brush strokes in ACR and seeing the image in PS without the strokes, and what exact versions of PS and ACR are you using?

How do you do this in office 2010? Where do we go now?
This used to be under the Tools menu in previous versions:
On the Tools menu, click Mail Merge.
In the Mail Merge Helper dialog box, click Merge.
NOTE: You must select the main document and data source for the merge before doing step 2.
In the Merge dialog box, under When Merging Records, click either:
Don't print blank lines when data fields are empty.

Print blank lines when data fields are empty.
Click Close in the Merge dialog box, and then click
Close in the Mail Merge Helper.
NOTE: If you made no changes in the Merge dialog box, the

IPhone using Exchange slow to sync changes made in Apple Mail

I searched but didn't see anyone with this particular problem.
When I make a change on my Mac in Mail, say deleting a message from my inbox or moving to another folder, it usually takes hours before that change finally syncs and shows up in my iPhone.
However, there is no problem the other direction. If I move or delete a message on the phone, the change shows up on my phone within one minute.
Any idea why this would be? I hate having junk I've already deleted still on my phone for hours before it goes away! Anyone else seen this issue? Thanks!

Do you mean a change made on your iPhone is reflected with the Mail.app on your Mac within a minute?
I don't access an Exchange account. I have no problem with this in either direction with my MobileMe account.
Are you accessing your Exhange account as an IMAP account with the Mail.app on your Mac and are you are accessing your Exchange account via ActiveSync with the iPhone's mail client?
If so, not sure this would make any difference, but it might.

How to find out the changes made to the customized table entries

i want to know the changes made to the customized table. i have a 'Z' table in my production system, in that table i would like to know whether any table entry is deleted or not. if at all there is any deletion happened, i want to know who had done it.

Go to Table Maintenance (SM30)- Display mode-- Utilities-- change Logs. Give the Date range. before giving the date range click on display status , this will show you If the display is active or not. Kindly please let me know If you need any more information on this.

Swing .............how to undo the changes made by user

Hi,
i have created a form in swing asking for the related information from user whose value i m taking in jformetted textfield.
now i have placed two buttons there.
one is Apply and second is Cancel.
when user pressed Apply button all the changes made by the user must be set where as if user clicks cancel button all the changes made by user should be undo to previously set value.
can anybody help me how this can be done and what code should i write in action performed method

In my application,there is one Button called Option when u clicked on it.It opens up one internal frame where user is asked to asked to fill some parameters.
1) Now how can i restrict user to create one more internal frame unless first one is closed.
2) suppose i clicked option button and it opens up internal frame where i can set the parameters and closed it.If i again click on option then i want the parameter to have wht i just set.
3) and how can pass those parameters value to my main frame from where i m calling internal frame

I keep getting a warning stating that the document could not be auto saved in pages. The file has been changed by another application. Then it says click save any way to keep your changes and save the changes made by the other application as a version, or click revert to keep the changes from the other application and save your changes to a version.
What in the heck does all that mean, and why are they trying to behave like a Windows product or a Microsoft office product. I just don't get it.
Why is another application changing my documents? It's like they've created a virus within their own programs. It's a pain in the neck and makes no sense.

I am also having the issue of a warning saying "could not be auto-saved in Pages. The file has been changed in another application. I then hit "save anyway", the warning will go away for a time, sometimes minutes, sometimes hourr, but then the warming reapprears saying the same thing. This is not the case with all Pages documents but it is the case with many.

I have looked at Adobe Acrobat 9.0 and found the Signing > locking feature which blocks any changes after the document is signed. I need to know whether using Acrobat SDK, one could implement a similar locking option via plugin in a way that it ONLY allows further blank signature fields to be created or sign existing ones and locks all other changes. If possible, any pointers to API functions would be appreciated.
If the above is not possible using Acrobat SDK 9.0 then can the SDK provides a list of all the set of changes made after the signing is performed (at the time of verification) in the form of some codes which can guide the plugin author about what change after signing was done e.g.
a blank signature field was signed
a blank signature field is created
watermark has been applied
form is filled
sticky notes/stamps/other annotations are added

Thanks for your response. I have just performed this:
I signed a PDF ( having no prior signature or blank signature fields ) using Adobe Acrobat 9.0 and locked it. I am now not able to create more signatures on this PDF. I believe I can't add more signatures even using the Acrobat SDK and Lock means complete lock-down of the document. This is different to what you said " it restricts modifications EXCEPT for other signings" or may be I am not understanding it clearly.
I created two blank signature fields. When I clicked on the first, there is no Lock settings at the time of signing. I believe because If it is locked then the next signature can't be signed. With only a single signature field present, the lock feature is there.
So I believe I have to resort to the option of identifying the changes in a revision and then if it the change is related to say adding stamps, sticky notes prompts the user at the time of verification.
Can some one point me to the API functions set which identify list the objects which have changed after signing.

Photos in iPhoto don't print on 4x6 paper

I have tried printing pictures from iPhoto to my Canon MP980 printer and the picutre is printing half of the picture (almost like it is set to print a 4x6 picture on an 8.5x11 piece of paper). I have changed the printer settings numerous times to 4x6 borderless and always double check before printing. I have even dragged it to my desktop and tried printing using preview and got the same result. I have changed the physical settings on my printer to make the default 4x6 but nothing seems to work (I even tried changing from landscape to portrait which only resulted in getting a little more picture printed).

Give this a try: make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
A long shot but if it works will be quicker.

Muse overwrites any SEO title Tag or Description changes made in Business Catlayst. Is there a work aorund to this? The sites do NOT merge or Muse does not detect the changes made.

Please advise if there is a work around. If not, Adobe really should fix this issue.

As you've noticed, Muse will clobber any changes made to the pages Muse works with that have been done outside Muse*. Are the page title features provided not enough for your purposes? Does the information in this thread help at all: Re: How do I add Meta tags to pages?
* Excepting changes made through 'In-Browser Editing'.
