Changes now showing after publishing

I have a client and a select few others who are telling me that changes are not showing on their computers after I re-publish a site. When I visit the site, I can see the changes but they can't and are telling me that they are being re-directed to other pages, and can't see new updates. I have had them F5 to refresh but still nothing. I have re-published the entire site overwriting everything as well and still nothing. HELP!!!

OK, client is saying that when she visits this page: http://www.arabiansalesonline.com/mares.html and clicks on a listing to go to that horse's individual page, it is re-directing to this page: http://www.arabiansalesonline.com/sla-catleya-orchid.html. There are others doing the same thing but I cannot duplicate the issue.
She is also stating that when I add new listings, they aren't showing up.
I went through and made sure that if I copied a linked text box I got r0d of the old link and re-linked it to the correct page and everything works fine on my end.

I have changed some of my website pages. IWEb says I have published. If I check my folders on mobile me they show the site files as being the most recent version published, but when I try to review the revised pages they are not visible, only the previous versions come-up. I have closed Safari, emptied my caches (multiple times), even deleted the site files on mobile me, all with no success. Help!

Sounds like your ISP is serving you some "stale" cached files instead of the more updated version.
Try this:
Enter your URL in the Address bar of your browser and end it with a ? (question mark). This should force a "fresh" page download.

How do I get my code changes to show when published in Business Catalyst?

I have created my website using !Adobe Muse and have used the Ecwid ecomm widget to integrate a shop. As I wasn't happy with the font, colour, etc, I changed the code using the edit 'html' function, accessing the code information from a design browser mode and then further on in the process, I published it to Business Catalyst. However, now the changes don't show. How do I get my code changes to show when published in Business Catalyst? Do I need to go through the same process using Business Catalyst?

Gap/space shows after publishing!

Hello everyone,
When publishing my (beta)site with muse on some pages there are blank spaces between certain elements. These are not the same spaces as with the type issue on another discussion on this forum...
Can anyone help me out? When i go back in Muse i don't see any overlap between the elements where the spaces show after the publishing.
These are the pages:

Changes not showing after successfully building up.

Hello everybody,
I am new to the forum and also a new novice in Flex.
I have written an application. I have a page called
SchedAppointments.mxml, well, after writing the code and building
the project successfully the page was displayed successfully as per
requirements. After that, I made certain changes in the page
(SchedAppointments.mxml), then saved it and build it successfully
again. Now the problem is that the changes is not showing in the
browser. What I am viewing in the browser is exactly the same as I
saw before making the new changes.
Can anybody tell me why its happening?

If there are any errors in yur code, FB will not compile
anything new.
Verify that you do not have any errors in the Problems pane.
Then try Menu, Project, Clean.

Contribute changes not showing after site update

A few months ago I added a top level navigation item to a client site. That made changes to the code for every page in the site, but the changes the client had made with Contribute 4 still showed in browsers.
Just posted the pages for another addition to top level nav. This again made changes to the code on every page of the site. This time the Contribute changes do not show in browsers.
The Contribute files are still in their folders on the server.
Navigation to the pages modified in Contribute has not changed.
Is there a simple fix to wake up the Contribute files?

Images not showing after publishing

I published my site to see how it would behave in a web browser and I ran into a serious problem. None of the .jpgs in my gallery are showing up. It's strange because the images work perfectly fine when I open the .swf file, but not in HTML. Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Well, I am using a UILoader to load my images.
In the COMPONENT INSPECTOR I've set the SOURCE: //users/nathansanchez/desktop/flash/ohgreat01.jpg

As I've said, it works perfectly fine when I use Test Movie, but as soon as it goes to HTML, my images don't load.
Or do I need to modify something in the Publish Settings before I publish? This problem is driving me nuts.

Can i change the price after publishing?

We always found pricing of our printed books to be a tricky matter. Find the sweet spot, and you maximize profits.
With printed books, we could test market in limited locations before going national. With ibooks, it's straight to the whole world.
I think ibooks should cost much less than printed counterparts... but how much less? I'd welcome a conversation on the topic.
Meanwhile, we're in a learning curve, and I wonder if I can change the price if we decide we're way off target.

The author's name is carried in the 'itunes:author' tag. You will need to enter it in the appropriate field in whatever program or online service you are using to make your podcast.

Once clear Triggers in Tool Tips, now showing white in IE, after newest update?

I had published on catalyst, and tool tips were clear... after newest Muse udpate the tool tips triggers are now showing as solid white in Explorer. They still look and work fine on my Mac in
both Firefox and Safari.
I cannot go in and access the triggers anymore because they are clear - and there is no frame or way to edit!
1. what is going on with the white boxes now showing.
2. how would I make a change/move/add to a trigger in tool tips once they are 'filled clear'?

1. If you can post a link it would make it easier for team/forum to help out.
2. Yes that does suck and we've all done it. The standard workaround when going for a clear/no fill look is to set the opacity to 1% with a color that matches what's beneath it. Doing so ensures that it is editable after the fact using the standard click method. The good news is you can get it back, but it often takes a neurosurgeons touch and patience.
The program is nano sensitive in this state, in my experience. So find the area with your 'missing/non responsive' trigger and very carefully hover the mouse around in micro increments until the trigger is dicovered. Then very carefully click on the dark orange bounding box until you get the blue bounding box. (Note-The cursor must be in the arrowhead state to get this to work. Not the arrow with the tiny black box and not the arrow with the stem. Just the arrowhead). Once you've rediscovered your trigger (blue bounding box) do not click again or else you'll have to start this all over. You will now notice at the top left in your menu that the trigger is selected and you can change the fill from there using the 1% workaround. One other trick to help fascilitate the process-zoom in.
Keep this in mind for all elements in Muse when going for the invisible look.
Hope that helps at least one of your glitches.

Changes in Crystal reports are not reflecting after publishing

We are facing problem with Crystal reports. After making the changes in the crystal reports, it is not reflecting in the portal after publishing. Still it is showing the older version of the report.

After publishing the report, we require some changes in the report and doing some modifications in crystal report and again we are publishing this report. After publishing the report for second time, those changes are not reflecting in the BOE portal.

Yahoo is my home page and News, Sports, Business categories/links changed and now shows a few sentences after each main URL link/topic. How do I put it back to show just the URL links/topics without having to scroll down and down the page. All the extra sentences after the links causes too much scrolling to view the topics.

Those steps did not solve my problem. Here is an example of what I see although it's not exact copy/paste. All I want to see are the links but I get all the verbiage after the links

After reading a gmail and deleting, the message reappears on my screen, i now show 400 plus min my inbox.

As I read my gmail and delete, the entry disappears on my screen.. However, It reappears on my screen the next time i open gmail with the inbox. I now show over 400 messages in inbox some going back to deletions in november.

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Using MassReplaceIt to update changes after publishing in iweb

I've downloaded massreplaceit as suggested by users to update changes after publishing in iweb. i've been told this makes it easier. for example, i have a paypal button that i have to re-do everytime i publish that page on iweb. how do i use massreplaceit to make this easier? i have no idea.

Not necessarily true. It depends on how you access your iDisk.
Method 1:
Turn on local copy of your iDisk in System Prefs, with or without automatic syncing.
If you publish your site via iWeb, now the updated pages exist online but the old pages are on your local iDisk. You need to sync (automatically or manually) to get the new pages on your local iDisk (on your computer).
Then you can open the updated files, make your html changes in Text Edit or whatever program, and SYNC AGAIN (automatically or manually) to update the online version of the site to match what you have just changed on your local iDisk
Method 2:
Mount the iDisk when needed via the "Go" menu in Finder. This is the ONLINE VERSION of your iDisk, not a local copy. When you publish your site via iWeb, the changes INSTANTLY appear on the iDisk on your desktop. If you make html edits or other changes, they appear INSTANTLY online.
