Hi, i need help.
I have problem transport orden in the BW System. The transaccion RSA1 show message error in the moment to create new order.
Message no. TK519
Diagnosis
You want to edit objects in request BIPK900060. However, you cannot use a request of this type.
Procedure
Select a local request.
From the prompt window for change requests, you can display all requests you can use by choosing Own requests.
Alternatively, you can create a new request by choosing Create request.
For more information, see the SAP Library under BC - Basis Components -> Change and Transport System .
Nota: The TMS change.

Try change package to new package in the transport but show new error:
System setting does not allow changes to be made to object CUBE ZENCU_C01
Message no. TO128
Diagnosis
The system and namespace change option set for this SAP System does not allow any changes to be made to object CUBE ZENCU_C01.
System Response
Editing is terminated, the object can only be displayed.
Procedure
If you want to edit the object CUBE ZENCU_C01 in this SAP System, have your system administator set the SAP System to "modifiable" for this object.
This can affect the modifiability of the namespace &1 or the namespaces that correspond to the pattern &1, as well as the global setting of the system change option.
The system change option is set using the Transport Organizer tools (Transaction SE03). Expand the Administration node and execute the program Set system change option. The options are described there

Transport for System Copy from RSA1 in BW 3.5

Hi Guys,
I am not able to create transport for Source system objects for system copy in RSA1.
I have copied the production system(BWP) to sandbox(BWQ) and want to connect to same source system.
According to note 886102 when creating transport for Source system objects I am getting following error.
You cannot use request BWQK900020
Object ISIP ZPAK_5FKMUFOSQPPRNYYDZV1U6A7W0 could not be saved to order
BWQK900020
This is stand alone system but for transports I have created virtual system. Before creating virtual system I am able to create transports. But now after creating virtual systems I am not able to get pass above errors.
Any help would be appreciated also with points.

Three system TMS in one transport group, error tp parameter in QAS

Hi,
There is 3 system TMS, which is DEV (phycial system,transport domain controller), QAS (virtual system), PRD (virtual system).
And I tried to replace the virtual QAS with the phycial QAS with these steps:
1. excute STMS in DEV,delete the virtual QAS
2. in QAS, configure STMS with transport domain_DEV
3. in DEV,approve QAS as the sytem of transport domain_DEV (the QAS shows with transport group QAS)
4. changed the QAS transport group from group QAS to group DEV
5. configure and active the transport route as standard 3 system TMS
after the below steps, I checked system overview in STMS, in QAS, the tp parameter shows the transport directory is the local trans directory, not the transport directory in DEV. That's why I I can not find any transport queue in QAS system.But the file TP_DOMAIN_DEV also exist in the trans\bin directory of QAS.
after that,
1.I added the full authorization of trans directory for user sapserviceDEV and sapserviceQAS,
2.I cleared the files in the trans directory of QAS
3.I cleared the configuration of QAS,and reconfigued it
But I got the same error message.
Note: when I install the QAS,I fill in the hostname of QAS as the transport host.
How can I fix it?

How to scope 3 system TMS when only DEV available?

I will build a 3 system TMS with DEV, QAS and PRD.
But now, I have only DEV system available, and QAS and PRD system will available several month later.
And before QAS and PRD system available, the developer will develop in DEV system, so how can I build the TMS system?
with only one DEV system? or set up another 2 virtual system(QAS and PRD)?
I should make sure that the requests which created now, can transfer to the QAS and PRD system in the furture.

Your instincts are correct...and this is common...set up QAS and PRD as virtual systems now and change them to actual systems later.

SMSY - System marked as Virtual System (TMS)

Hi Experts!
We got an issue in our system landscape. In tx: SMSY our developement system gets marked as "Virtual System (TMS)" (tab header data) and we can not locate the reason for this. We can not use ChaRM while it is marked as virtual.
After reading system data remote (manually) it gets updated and is not marked as virtual anymore.
However, this morning it was marked as virtual again and I got no idea where this comes from.
Any help would be really apprecaited!

Edit: The F1-help did not tell anything new. What I could imagine: there is a job updating this information and the time the job ran there was a problem connecting to the system. Hence it got marked as virtual. But this is jsut a guess.

Hi, check how your system is defined in the SLD. The daily "refresh" of the systems data stored in SMSY coming from the SLD could be your problem.

How to create a logical system DEVCLNT110 at RSA1?

This logical system is only for this system/client only.
In other words, it is NOT point to any other data source. I want to define DEVCLNT110 at DEV/110.
I know how to do it in SALE or BD54. Now I want to know how to do it at RSA1.

In RSA1 you need to create a new Source System using the logical system name.
And then do source system mapping.

Source systems vanishes from RSA1 after renaming of the LSN after BDLS

Dear BW/BI Experts,
           We are doing BW3.1 upgarde to BI7.0........After system copy there is need of rename of logical system for BP1 to BD1 (Prod. to Dev. and Dev. is our new Target BW system ) and From RP1 to RQ1. Before renaming I checked that all source systems were there in RSA1 i.e. Myself BW system , RP1 source system and Flat file source system as per SAP HOW TO ....System Copy in SAP Business Intelligence Systems Landscapes document. (almost 16 steps)
        But after running renaming program by BDLS , I saw source systems are vanished from RSA1..........and now I am trying to create source systems manually.........system is not allowing the same...........pl suggest...........waiting for your experts opinion......pl help urgently as I am in problem fromn last many days and did system copy more than 2 times considering that there may be system copy problem.......
While RQ1CLNT100 creation i.e.Source system ....I am getting follwoing error.........

Hi Sharad,
This is a very Basis-oriented task,
can your BD1 system can communicate with your peer ECC/R3 deveopment? you might need to run sm59 to ensure your RFC connection with ECC/R3 deveopment is communicating without problem.
once the RFC is ok, if you are familiar with WE20 and WE21 transactions, these transaction will configure IDoc setting (basis level) where you BI system will talk to, i believe IDoc are using old information copied from BP1 is still pointing to your ECC/R3 productive system at IDoc level. you will need to have Basis guy to help you out. please let me know if you need help on WE20 and 21, if you do, you need to provide me your current settings in BD1 and the peer ECC/R3 development setting as well.

Source system connection in RSA1

Hi,
I am not able to create a source connection under the SAP source system in RSA1.
Though I create a source connection under SAP source system, it gets automatically created in BI system.
I would like to create it under SAP source ssytem.

Post BI System Refresh steps- RSA1 issue

Hello All,
I am doing the post system copy for BI system. We did our system copy for both BI and ECC in parallel.
Now I am unable to Restore the Source system in RSA1 by right clicking, when i do that it i can get upto the steps where it prompts me to log in as admin to the source system which is fine, checked rfc is also fine. In the final step i get a message that says "Source system does not exist" . All the logical names have been changed using BDLS and RFC connections are reconfigured too.
This is what I have done so far:
-Ran BDLS (both in Target EEC/BI) , same in ECC.
-Changed Source system logical name for Mysource.
-I also changed the entries in Table RSLOGSYSDEST in Target BI.
After doing some research I found that table RSBASIDOC table in Target (ECC) system, there are still entries copied from u201CSource u201D systems , and we need to deleted those old source system connections by running RSAP_BIW_DISCONNECT functional module with the following parameters in ECC (target ECC):
I_BIW_LOGSYS = <RLOGSYS>
I_OLTP_LOGSYS = <SLOGSYS>
I_FORCE_DELETE = 'X'
I tried doing this .....when i execute this FM in ECC (target system) it prompts me to log on to the Source BI system , is this normal? I am little hesitant about this if it would delete some tables/objects in BI sytems.. can anyone pls tell me if this is normal?
Since there are stilll some entries in RSBASIDOC in Target ECC systems with old connections entries, could this be the reason why I am unable to restore the Source system in Target BI system in RSA1.? if not what else could be the issue here?
Please suggest...i would appreciate your help...

hello all,
I found out that the source system client setting was closed in SCC4, after changing i could get pass this hurdle...now i am in RSA1 trying to restore the sourece sysem. I tried to do restore and it asked me if i wanted to activate/replicate datasources too..and i chose yes..it took about 3-4 hours and was still running so i finally killed the session. Should i delete the existing Source sytem or Restore? can anyone tell me if i Restoer the source system then do i also need to select Reactivat/Replicate Datasourcess too? please give me some suggestions thanks.

Problem Configuring Single-System TMS in new install of SM 7.1

Going through post install steps of new Solution Manager 7.1 system; SID is SMV
Follwed the instructions to set up the Transport Management System in Client 000. The consistency check returns all green checkmarks.
User TMSADM exists in client 000, Profiles TP_DOMAIN_SMV.PFL and TP_DOMAIN_SMV.BAK exist along with DEFAULT.CFG in usr\sap\trans\bin.
STMS config created RFC's TMSADM-SMV.DOMAIN_SMV and TMSSUP-SMV.DOMAIN_SMV, and they both pass the "Connection Test". ("@" replaced by "-" in this message so they don't look like E-Mail addresses)
Used SM59 to create an RFC for SMV that passes the "Connection Test"
However, using SOLMAN_SETUP, the step to "Check TMS Configuration" fails with message "No valid RFC destination exists for system SMV"
2 questions:
1. Does that matter?
2. How can I get a green light on this check?

I'm not sure. The only thing I know for sure is that it is 7.1
I attempted to do the update, and got to the screen where it would take me from ISS (initial) to SPS03, so I guess the answer is no, we're not on SP03.
I have not been able to accomplish the update because my version of SPAM is not quite up-to-date. I downloaded a later version of SPAM but it got put into my download basket as requiring approval. If I understand it correctly, Maintenance Optimizer is the tool I need to approve it, but that transaction isn't yet available in our system. So I'm trying to figure that out right now.
I haven't finished all of the Post Install activities yet, as you can see from this thread, and apparently those are necessary before updating to SPS03.
As you can see, I'm a rookie at basis, but I'm all there is here. My 10 years of SAP Development haven't prepared me for the dark side of SAP.

Source System Problem after system refresh in RSA1 trx

Hi,
We have R/3 4.7 Test source system created in our SCM 2007 Test System. The source system check was OK.
The R3 Test system was refreshed with Production data few days back and now my source system is not working. When i perform Source System check it says:
BI unknown in source system
BI IDoc type ZSSB006 is not the same as source system IDoc type
I performed following steps in R3 Test system after its system refresh:
1. Created logcal system and created RFC.
2. Created port in trx we21.
3. Created partner profile in trx we20.
4. For the outbound parameter RSSEND, I had to create idoc type that should be same as in my SCM system i.e. ZSSB006.
5. Created idoc type using trx we30 as a copy of RSSEND and added entry in table EDIMSG. Now, i could also create outbound parameter RSSEND with idoc type ZSSB006.
After performing the above steps i also replicated the datasources for the R3 Test source system, but its still showing above error.
I also checked the RSBASIDOC table in SCM test system. It has correct entry for my source system. But there is no such entry in RSBASIDOC table in the R3 test system.
Someone pls help me.

Need to restore the All Dalaload connection settings after refresh the system which either R/3 or SCM.
RSA1 -> select the Source system -> Right click -> Restore , It'll ask the connecon paramters like RFC , method of activations. Then check the connection test of the Source system .

And what is the exact difference between transporting object in R/3 and in BW?

     first when you create a new object in which you could write the object
     to a transport request. When you transport the objects for the first
     time, these objects and dependent objects must be collected in the

     transportable development class is assigned after this and the objects
     are written to a request.
     This procedure has the advantage that first you need not take care of
     the transport during the development of new scenarios. After the
     scenario has been completed , you only have to collect the objects that
     are required in the production system in the transport connection and
     write them to a request. The objects not required remain there as
     internal objects and are not transported. If you write all objects
     immediately to requests, it can happen that test objects and productive
     objects are mixed on one request. In this case, it is complicated to
     clean up the requests.

Creating and Assigning logical system after executng RSA1 transaction

Hello guys, i am stuck since many days for running the transaction RSA1 for BW but message comes you can work only in client 001 only. when i try to log in with bcuser i cannot but i am able to log in with DDIC user but it says there is no logcal system assigned. I tryied to create a new logical system but it says user ddic may not change objects something like that. please help in this case that how i can be able to use bw in NW04s trial. i created a user in the client 001 but this user fails to create logical system and mssage states that you do not have authorization to do this actine. i hope i will get the answer very soon. Source Systems tree in RSA1

Hi!
The top level of Source Systems tree consists of folders BI, SAP etc. Is the folder BI empty after system installation?

You should have self client, because you will send data from ODS to other targets also, here BW system itself will act like source system.
To create it:
Goto SM59-- ABAP Connections-- Create..
Here you have to creat the self client for the BW system. Take Basis help to creat it.

Two source system in RSA1

Hello All,
I have the following scenario.
I have two source system ECDCLNT200 and ECDCLNT230 and one BI system BIDCLNT200. client 200 is used for configuration and client 230 is used for data loading and validation.now firstly i created source system ECDCLNT230 in RSA1 then it comes under SAP menu but when i try to create ECDCLNT200 in SAP Menu it comes automatically under BI menu. i deleted it and tried again but the same problem is there.
if i remain the same configuration means ECDCLNT200 under BI menu then will it create any problem in future ? or if i want to create ECDCLNT200 under SAP menu what is the otheroption ?
I tried both the way. first i rightclick on main node and selected create source system and second time i right click on SAP and select create source system but couldn't create it.
Please let me know the solution.
