iTunes will need to be set up on your computer however you can set up a new Apple ID to use for your iPhone. Really all you need to do is Assign a new Apple ID to your iCloud account.
Follow the link to create a new Apple ID: https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
After you do that, on the device you want to assign a new iCloud account go: Settings > iCloud > Delete Account and then sign in with the new Apple ID.
NOTE: This does not effect iTunes, all of your devices can continue to use one shared iTunes account under your original Apple ID for downloading apps and backups. This simply gives iCloud a place to sync the individual devices information and will stop iCloud form merging all the information, such as contacts, with all of your devices.

Yes I tried syncing a lot of times, but the changes still wouldn't show, so I did as you said by beginning from the start by adding the PDF's once again.

Use different DPS accounts for iPad and Android versions of same app?

When creating an Android version of an iPad DPS app should the account used to create the content (the 'Title ID' in the DPS App Builder) be the same for both versions, or different? In the content viewer I know that iPad content will show up even on Android, so I'm thinking that the answer is probably no, but I haven't managed to find it mentioned in the Adobe docs.

It depends, but usually the answer is that you want to use a different account for iOS and Android. Not all features supported in the iOS viewer are supported in the Android viewer. For example, if you use panoramas or iOS-specific web views in your articles, you'll want to be able to use different content for the Android viewers. Search for "dps supported features" for a comparison chart.
I use different Application accounts for my apps. I use the Share/Copy feature to transfer the folios from the iOS account to the Android (or Windows) account. Then I delete the few articles that don't work well in the viewer and replace them with articles generated from different source files. That works well and doesn't require too much extra effort.
If you want to reduce the amount of letterboxing in Android viewers, you'll definitely want to use different accounts and use, for example, 1280x800 folios instead of 1024x768.

Need word with track/accept changes enabled for iPad

When is Apple going to provide a version of Word of iPad that includes track changes/accept changes like the full version of word?
This is an essential feature for editing documents.

Apple doesn't provide any version of Word - Microsoft does. Even if MS does develop and release Word for iPad, there is no guarantee that this feature will be there - I don't think any of the leading WP apps in the app store provide tracking changes.
There are two apps that allow you to access a full version of Word through remote servers - CloudOn and Desktop OnLine. They are free for now, so worth checking out.

All apps, video are tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them.
Even if you sign in under a different Apple ID, the original Apple ID password used to download the apps will need to be used for updating the apps.
To not use the password for the old Apple ID , you would have to delete the apps and redownload them under the new ID. This means any data will be gone and you have to pay for them again.
You can go under settings, itunes & app store and change the Apple ID.

I can't find a simple answer to this question from Apples flashy "documentation" or from any online straighforward guides.
There is an app called "Articulate Mobile Player" that we want to deploy to our fleet of iPads. These iPads do not have Apple IDs/iTunes Accounts configured for them to access the iTunes store.
We have access to the Apple Configurator for Windows and Trend Micro MDM (Mobile Security and App Management for BYOD).
From what I can ascertain perhaps we need to create VPP account, "purchase" the free app required to gain access to the .IPA file, then either use our MDM solution or Configurator to place the app on devices.
Will we then need an Apple ID/iTunes Account to use the App?
Is there further requirements such as certificates and such? The iPads are configured to use the Trend MDM for app deployment as far as I am aware.

Change account for todo in Mail

Hi I'm trying to change the account that Mail uses to create ToDos but it just won't take. I have three options GMail, MobileMe and On My Mac. Once I've created the todo it only shows the Gmail account no matter what I set the 'Create notes and todos in" drop down in the prefs.
Also if you add a todo without selecting any text, the title doesn't stick and the todo is blank in iCal - bit crap really.
Anybody had any of this happen to them?

Changing iMacs for iPad backups

Currently I have set my Backup location for my iPad to my iMac.
If were to get another iMac, would all of my data (books, apps, etc.) be available for this new iMac so that when I synch with this new iMac I don't lose anything on my iPad?

You can use Target Disk Mode on the older Mac and transfer all of your content to your new iMac. No backups would be lost. You just need a FireWire cable, most likely 800 to 800 unless you have an older Mac.

Alternatively, you can just re-download all of your iContent (from iTunes/App Store) on your new Mac.

I am not sure whether MB30 Tcode exist. anyways, if you are sure of the Movement type with which your document is getting posted, then you can get the details of the Transaction in the OMWN. In OMWN please select the Movement type and you will see all the Tr Keys.
Or you can get into OMWB and select Simulation. Give the material, plant and movemnet type and then select the account assignments you will have all the information.

Is safari for iPad uncomfortable?

I have ipad and iphone4 both.
But safari for iPad uncomfortable for me.
Safari for iphone4 have back button on the below of the screen but for ipad have back button on the top.
With my iphone, I can touch back button easly and I use that button frequently on the web surfing.
When I use ipad for web surfing, it is very uncomfortable to touch back button on the top of the screen and my hands are always on my legs.
I don't know why safari for ipad is different from iphone. It's uncomfortable.
Is there anyone have experience like me?
I would like to change safari for ipad as same as iphone's.
I wonder other users or apple's opinions.

This is a user-to-user technical support forum. Apple doesn't respond here. The will neither give you an explanation for why it's different nor chime in with whether or not they like it.
Why does it matter whether or not other people find it uncomfortable? Will that change how you feel about it? I suspect that, even if lots of other people say it's fine, you still won't like it. And that's ok.
There are two things you can do.
1) Try one of the many other browsers available in the App Store. I really like iCab. I think it's much better than Safari.
2) Submit feedback to Apple

Script to change accounts

Is there a script or a command line to change accounts for a LMI install. We have about 1000 computers on our network and know some people have played around with the settings on their LMI install to change their PC to their home account. We would like to push out a command to force any LMI install to our account. Thanks

HI. Have this same issue. I either have to script uninstatlll LMI from alll of these first, or just run a script to change the account. Changing the account would be much easier, and take much less bandwidth then pushing a new package. Can you help us do this LogMein Support? Thanks
