Changing Account Holder Name

The current account is in my mothers name as its her line but I'm the person who helps solve any issues and arranges bt infinity to be installed etc.
If I go to MYBT there is a section "My Contact Details" and it lets you change the Name and Email address.
If we change this to my name, will this mean if I phone up regarding any phone/bt inifinity issues that my name will be there as the account holder?
Or is there a way to have my name added as an additional holder?

Changing an account holder name

Hi
I live in a shared flat and the account holder for our BT account has moved out. Is there a way to simply change the account holder name, as we would still like all the payment details to remain the same?
From looking at other posts it seems we would have to close the account and re-open another. Surely BT have a system for people living in shared houses, where I should imagine tenants change regularly. It seems ludicrous to have to close the whole account and then sign up again to the exact same package every time someone moves out?

I would use it as a great way to get a better deal, if you've had the same contract for more than 6 months you're likely to find a better deal when you call anyway, and as a new account can take advantage of a myriad of deals going at the moment! Perfect, look at it as a positive, not a negative...
You would have to take out a fresh 24 month contract changing almost anything on your account anyway, so even if they allowed changing details they would probably insist on a new contract term, however, these aren't difficult to escape from if you need to, just ask what the cancellation cost per month is (£1.50/month has been mine for years) if this is what is making you wary?

Family pack account to iCloud ACCOUNTS retain former account holder name.

My children are flying the nest and I have converted and am converting their accounts to Lion and to iCloud from my old mobileme family pack account which contained their mail accounts. Can not login after changing account short name and home directory

Hi,
I did sth rather stupid while trying a get timemachine working on my iMac 10.5.5.
I changed the short name, login shell and home directory of my account. (didn't listen to the waning that I may not be able to login if I change those information Now I can not log into my account anymore. I tried to use fileVault master password to change the password of my account, but it didn't help. Can anyone tell me how do I fix this problem?

run the following in terminal
sudo ls -la /users/username
and post the results.
does it list sparsebundle or sparseimage?
Another thing, when I typed in the command, it didn't take the admin (root) password, but the password of the account I was logged in got me through.
that's what it has to be. it takes the password of the user (it jhas to be an admin user) which is currently logged in.
I am wondering if I can recover the problem user's files from the sparseimage file, then copied all the files to a new user.

When I change my administrator's name, the short name or nickname does not change. Is there a way?

It is safer to create a new account as your Mac does not like its account names being changed, so it is not succumbing.

You can do that by changing the property file waveset.properties or WPMessages_en.properties (which ever is applicable) and setting the the desired value for the following property
UI_USERAPPLETTABLE_NEW_USER=New xxx User
Or you can create your own custom catalog and put same value in that.

Just wondering how to disable users from changing their AD accounts 'Full name' field in the Users & Groups preferences.
We need there mac account name it to be their actual Active Directory name but right now they can change it to anything they want, including Emoji characters which can't be read on anything else.
/private/var/db/dslocal/nodes/Default/users/username.plist
This has the key of RealName which is the name they can change from System Preferences.
Is there a way to stop them changing the name?

Changed Account 'short name' and cannot now access iPhoto pictures

I have two accounts running on my iMac. The second one I opened because Word didn't run properly on the first. I gave the second one the short name 'test'. Recently I decided that I should change the short name from 'test' to something more appropriate. I then logged out and in again. When I logged back in the short name was back to 'test' but I have lost access to some applications (had to reconnect to the web) and especially my iPhoto pictures. Can someone help?

Configure Bank account holder name field mandatory

We want to make the account holder field under bank details field group as mandatory. The individual field group settings under IMG does not allows to maintain the individual field settings for bank details field group.

Can't Change Account Full Name

In System Prefs > Users & Groups,
The text entry field to change the User's Full Name is no longer there. Does anyone know how to change the User's Full Name? in OS 10.10?
At the moment, my user full name is "Philip's MacPro". Before the upgrade it was just my first and last name. Don't know how I managed to change it but I want to change it back. Any ideas?

Is it possible for you to take your current phone service and take it out of your name and transfer it to someone elses name without the services being disconnected?

It is something you can do.
the process is called a "supercedure"
If someone has had a death in the family and needs to change the name, {edit} can do a billing name change.
But lets say for ex: you and ur significant other are splitting and the srvcs were in their name and u need it in yours, thats a "supercedure" so {edit} stop all the billing under their name and put it under yours so you are no longer responible for his/her bill.

Changing account email name

I just changed my email address and updated with Apple Store and ICloud. But each place continuously asks for the password to my old email address even though I have suppsedly deleted it.
Please let me know what else I need to do to get the old email to go away.

I am unable to shut off my computer unless I give it my old password under my old email address.
When I go to Apple ID support, I log into the old email address, and my new address comes up once I get in, and the old email is nowhere to delete........

Account's holder name

Hi All,
I am working with outbound idocs, requirement is to update the bank data in segement e1edk28. Currently system does not show the correct details for the bank in segement e1edk28.
I have found one user exit in which I have created the logic in such a way sothat system will look in segement e1edk01 and look for the partner value then system will get the housebank number from knb1. But for the housebank account number I am not able to get the table which holds the account holder name for the account number of the housebank.
Do any one of you have any idea about the name of the table or function module from which I can get the account holder name for the account number for the housebank.
