Changing Account's Custom4 Top Member

Hi There,
As part of our IFRS project, we are looking at capturing IFRS and US GAAP activity in several dimension members in Custom4. Currently, only our P&L accounts have a Custom4 Top Member. Our Balance Sheet accounts don't have a Custom4 top member as all of their Custom4 activity is limited to the [none] member.
If I want to change the Custom4 Top Member for the Balance Sheet accounts to say, IFRS_Tot which consists of [None] and 'IFRS_Adj', will this cause any problems? Will performance be affected? Will my database size expand? Is there any danger with the data that has been loaded in [none] for the past few years or will it go unaffected?
Also, if I want to change the Custom 4top member for the P&L accounts that already have a top member, is there any danger in this?

No issue as long as you are expanding the intersections that are available. That is, as long as all the customer 4 members that you historicaly loaded and calculated for the balance sheet will still be available after you make the change, everything will work.
The only danger in changing a custom top member is when you remove intersections that had been populated with data, rules, or journals. In those cases, HFM will consider the intersections invalid, and will ignore them for all time.
This will have no effect on the database size other then the extent to which you populate the new C4 members. Performance will be impacted only if you have additional rules executing on the new members.

At the top of the iTunes Store window, you will see who is logged into iTunes. I'm guessing from your description, that it is your husband. If it is, click on the name to display the dropdown, log him out and sign yourself back in:\

Instead of above i want this sequence:

In Account dimension we can find the Reference "ICP TOP Member" for this field what i have to input? i know ICP Members. Since i did not configure ICP Top,it is system generated how can i know ICP TOP Member?

In Entity dimension where ever you tagged it as "is ICP", system automatically generated ICP Members.
1. ICP Top Memeber- Means When you enabled the "IS ICP" attribute in Entity dimension that entity members will go under ICP Entities, So the thing is If you not enabled the any entity as "IS ICP", there should be a hierarchy with
[ICP Top Member] (Parent)
[ICP Entities] (Child)
[ICP None] (Child)
--> In your case ICP Top member means not exactly the Parent member
2. Security Classes for ICP members- In this case while building the Entity dimension you can define the "IS ICP" attribute for particular entity or entities, To which entities you enabled the IS ICP attribute that member can consider the ICP Entity, in entity dimension you can give the security class for those you selected as "IS ICP" entity member. Here two things will get complete 1 is IS ICP member, 2 security class for ICP member.

For above question the answer is - In Account Dimension for particular account member you can give any ICP Entity member as ICP Top Member, means for that particular account member you can enter the data with selecting the ICP Top member (which you mentioned as ICP Top Member in Account Dimension) in ICP Dimension, If you select the other member from ICP dimension ( [ICP None] ) you may get invalid intersection of POV. which Entities you selected as "IS ICP" attribute that entity member will consider as ICP entity member, so in account dimension you can give that particular ICP Entity member other wise you can give the top member means Parent member.if you selected more entities as ICP members those entities will go under ( [ICP Entities] Parent member), so here the top member for ICP Entity members is [ICP Entities], so you can mention this member as ICP Top Member in Account Dimension.

Provisioning log is not available on Access request type Change Account

Hi,
So I have and issue when I try to submit a request to add a role to a user and I'm trying to understand what could be the reason for it. Basically I have a workflow that works perfectly for a "Change Request". I can see that all the steps are executed and then at the end of the request when is suppose to do the actual role assignment I see the message "Provisioning log is not available" then the approval path is finish and the request is closed but when I take a look at the user in the back end the role is not assign. In terms of access I have try giving SAP_ALL to WF-Batch, nothing shows in Yellow or Red on SLG1 and in SPRO->AC-> User Provisioning -> Define request Type I see "Change Account" with SAP_GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST. What else can I do to troubleshoot this error?
Note: I when back to the to the AC 10.0 Pre-Implementation From Post-Installation to First Access Request and everythings looks right in terms of the AC Configuration settings.

In my question I was referring to SPRO - GRC/access control/user provisioning / maintain provisioning settings. Those need to be setup (min. global provisioning settings) in order to have role being assigned to user at the end of path.
Change account option you can see under request type is referring to change user master data(e.g. password/ account validity / details).
Is this system maintain by CUA? If so settings have to be different (see CUA settings in SPRO)
I would recommend moving to SP14 as in SP13 there were many bugs, by the way I believe the worst SP ever since beginning of AC is SP13 (maybe due to number), as it destroys many working functionality.

Cannot change account picture after upgrading to Mountain Lion.

After upgrading to Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard I cannot change account picture anymore.
The box which is supposed to contain picture previews just says "No items".

This is not limited to a particular account, trying to change the picture within any account leads to this problem.

Sure I can drag a photo to the users profile and it works but those Default ones were quite useful for having no mess with setting custom picture.
MacBook Pro with same Snow Leopard -> Mountain Lion upgrade did not have such issue.

PanelStretchLayout: change height of the top facet

I've defined a panelStretchlayout panel. In the top facet I've placed a ShowPanelHeader. What I now wanted to do is to change the height of top facet each time the showpanelheader is disclosed. Just to show some data.
I've defined a disclosurelistener and I check when the disclosure event isExpanded() then the height should change.
This is code:

UIManager.put() is changing height of all tabs but i want to change height of only selected tab. Then you probably need to write your own TabbedPaneUI.

Duplicate whole row, change account number

Hi, I would like to duplicate the whole row in Journal Entry and then change the account number. However, when I changed the account number, the content of the other fields was cleared. i,e. All duplicated contents were cleared.
Is there any way to configure so that the content of duplicated row were not cleared when I change the account number?

On duplicating row changing account code will
clear amount in debit/credit as this is normal system behaviour
even when you are raising service documents.
Are you doing single journal entry/mass JE?

Hi Sandipan,
I can't find Change accounting document BAPI from the link that you gave.
Manually, how user change the text and assignment fields is using FB02 t-code and double click each line item, from there we can change the text and assignment fields.
I tried to record those steps and will create BDC program for that. But the problem is for each line item the subsequent screen can be vary and i think it depends on the G/L account that tied for each line item.
So i don't think BDC is a good idea to do this.
Any suggestion guys to do this?
