Changing account to a different country.

I had my account configured for Mexico but I moved to France a few months ago. I would like to use the same account but I have new bank information over here and I can't seem to find a way to access the French appstore and every time I try to change my account settings I get an error message. What should I do? Is this even possible or do I have to create a whole new account to be able to access it in France?

Your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.

    I think a new account may be the easiest way if you don't have an existing subscription or cloud files for which to keep continuity.

    Hi everyone and especially someone who can help me please!
    I am in the UK on hutchinson three network using my BB bold with BIS. It is working great. Now I am going abroad to the Middle East for a couple of months on some contracting work. I have a SIM card for the Middle East already so I don't need to be roaming and I can upgrade that SIM to accept Blackberry services. I was wondering, do I have to re-setup a blackberry email account with that specific network provider in the Middle east? Or can I just continue using my Three blackbery BIS account?
    And if I have to setup a new blackberry email account with this provider - do I then have to log in and re-activate and add filters etc to all the different emails I access through my blackberry.
    I am travelling tomorrow - so your help would be soooooooooo much appreciated. As you can tell I am always last minute dot com, thats why the blackberry is so great for me! :-D

    now in Middleeast i was told to setup
    [email protected] to use their BIS
    Are you saying I don't have to do that? I just swap the sims and activate the blackberry service on the sim? (yes my phone is unlocked) So I don't need to reconfigure all my email accounts and the filters? It will just work off the original 3uk one?

    Absolutely Yes. I do it. I have a US account along with my US registered credit card which I can use in the UK. And vice versa.
    The key is your credit card and bank account need to be registered to the country of the iTunes account, not where you happen to be accessing the content from.

    Sorry, but you can only gift within the US. There's no way to give an iTunes Store gift to someone in another country.

    You have to update your apps in the store in which you purchased them. Where did you buy the apps? If you bought them in the UK store, that's where you have to update them. You also have to have a credit card in the UK that is registered to a physical address in the UK.
    If you need to change to a different country's store.....
    Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID
    Tap your ID
    Tap View Apple ID
    Enter your password
    Go to country/region in the popup window to change the store

    As long as you have a form of payment (credit or debit card) with a USA source, and with a billing address in the USA, then you just need to change your payment information on your account to that, change your country in the store settings, and you will then be able to shop in the USA store.
    Your AppleID will work in any country's store, as long as your payment source and billing addres are also specific to that country (and you are in that country as well, as there may be IP filters in place to stop use outside of the country).

    Hi there...
    My wife is currently in another country for a few weeks.  I was thinking of gifting her some $$$ so that she can buy some ipad apps, etc.  Does anyone know that if she switches to the Canadian itunes in a foreign country, will she be able to download whatever app she desires while logging into her Canadian account from a foreign IP?  Is this within the ToS of Apple?
    We could create a second account in the foreign country, and send her a physical gift card from Apple's local store.  However, we want to avoid doing that as the account would be temporary and would never be used again.

    The default store should not change becuase you are in a different country. appleID's are tied to the country where they were created, and can only download from there.
    She should have no problmes downloading apps from the Canadian store if that is the store the account was created in.
    IP location used to be a factor, but not any more as far as I know.

    Tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your iPad and tap 'view apple id' on the popup and log in, and at the top of your account's popup page tap on your id and you should be able to change the primary email address on it.

    Not sure when mobile me changed, but it was this weekend that my storage etc. lapsed (I have paid to keep storage with icloud). So i assume this has something to with it stopping.

  • HT1807 I travelled to a different country & using a new sim; with the change in sim, I have been unable to use iMessage & FaceTime. Cant replace replace the earlier no with the current one and it reads error. how to correct this?

    I traveled to a different country and using a new sim/new carrier. With the change in the sim, I have been unable to use the iMessage--outside of WiFi coverage area, and FaceTime at all time. I believe it is due to the phone number registered as an address in the phone, which has not changed with the change of sim; so it countinues to showing as an error while varifying the data.
    Wonder if any of you are in a position to advise as to how to address the following.
    1. I need to input correct phone no, meaning the number I am using in the correct location.
    2. I need to activate FaceTime and be able to use it.
    3. I need to be able to use iMessage and/or ordinary sms while outside of WiFi coverage area.
    It may be mentioned in my current location I don't have GPRS on the cell phone which is the case in my regular station.
