Changing ad hoc selection fields in fast entry (PA70)

Hi,
I'm trying to change the list of fields that are shown when you use the fast entry transaction (PA70) and use the preselection with ad hoc query.
It looks like there is an infoset linked to this option, but I cannot seem to find where it is specified, or if this is defined differently, how it is done altogether.
I guess this will be solved as well if I know the answer to the previous question, but I would also like to know if we can make this list dependent on user parameters (or other settings), which would be interesting since we're in a multinational environment, with different requirements per country...

After declaring selection screen fields.
select the field to handle validation and click on the button 'Check coding for
Element' .
you will get a block to handle the validation.

    Hi all,
    we want to record changes with PA70 in a batch session. Unfortunatly the system generates a name for this session but our users only have specific authorisations for certain names.
    Does anyone know, if I can change the name in the fast entry screen or give any other hint. The authorisations <b>cannot</b> be changed and the users <b>must not</b> use the direct input.

    HI Michael,
    I don't think you have an option to change the Session name here.. the Groupid ie the session name gets defaulted based on the Infotype you select for input.. which  in your case is PA700014.. this happens inside the std function module HR_CONVERT_FIELDS_FROM_INFOSET.. infoset here being the Infotype selected.. You may be better off modifying your checks to allow session names with PA70* for your Users..

  • Adding text field to Fast entry screen transaction F-26

    We need to add a text field in the GL account for payments e.g. 572000, when we are using transaction f-26.
    We manage to add this field to the screen variant SAP01,copyinng this varaiant into a new one called ZSAP1 but it gives as an error. For doing so we have had to delete some fields from the variant .
    At this moment we do not get this error but the field doesn't appear.
    We cannot use variant SAP02 cause this has 2 screens and we would have to reprogram the interfase program we are using to feed this aplication.
    Can you help us?

  • Change Selection fields into Multiple Selection

    Hello,
    I would like to know if it is possible to change a standard Selection fields box into a Multiple Selection box.
    Example:
    In VA05, I have this (Further Sel.criteria > PO number)
    I want it to be like that (like in VA05N)
    Therefore, when I click on the Multiple Selection button, I have all the standard options as shown below:
    Any hint how it can be done would be appreciated.

  • Multiple Selection Field Type

    how do i change a multiple selection field type to place what i've entered to side-by-side instead of vertical?  i've un-checked "stack choices verticallly" and even made the column smaller but it's not moving anything. 
    ANY IDEAS??

    The default width for all of the choices in a Single/Multiple selection field is the width of you longest choice label (as you have seen).  In order for you to get side by side you will need to make your form wider and then make the multiple selection field wider.
    Click and drag on the right edge of the form to widen the form page
    Click and drag on the right border of the Multiple Select field to widen it.
    If these steps do not work then the next step would be to use a font size smaller and/or change font to Times New Roman (which is narrower than other fonts).

    Hi experts,
    I am creating a new Variant for Fast Entry, It is ok but I need to add the fiels "Trading Partner" (BSEG-VBUND) wich is not possible.
    I have read other post that said to apply sap note 2596 but should I modify the standard?
    I think may be another way to add trading partner in fast entry.

  • How to change the entry screen for Fast entry

    Hi,
    My scenario is that I want to allow my user to enter the cost assignment as well for infotype 14, 15 and 2010 in the fast entry. I noticed that there is actually a screen in the module pool mp001400, mp001500 and mp200000 which include those 'cost assignment'  fields.
    For example, in mp001500, screen 2000 is the standard one while screen 5100 is the one with the 'cost assignment' fields. So I created an entry for mp001500 screen 5100 in table T588M and saved it. However, when I try to use the transaction PA70 to create it0015 records again, it still use the standard screen 2000.
    What else I have to do so that when I use PA70, screen 5100 will be called up.

    Hi there. Go into the IMG through transaction SPRO and follow this path:
    Personnel management -> Personnel administration -> Customizing procedures -> Infotype Menus -> Set up infotype menu for fast data entry.  Then select "screen types for fast data entry" and click the "choose" button.  You can now see each infotype that is included in fast entry, the default screen, and the fast data entry screen.  We use screen 5100 in certain cases for infotypes 0014 and 0015, so we have two entries in this table for each of those infotypes.  Here are the values we have:
    infotype, screen control, default value, fast data entry, selection report
    0014 (blank) 4000 5000 RPLFST00
    0014 01 4100 5100 RPLFST00
    0015 (blank) 4000 5000 RPLFST00
    0015 01 4100 5100 RPLFST00
    We are on ERP2005.  I hope this helps.

  • How to add new "text" field in GL item fast entry?

    Hi Gurus,
    Is that possible to add "text" column or field in GL item fast entry. For example, if i go to Txn F-04, i enter all the details then i go to: "Goto>GL item fast entry (shift+F8). Now you will see layout (GL item fast entry). So back to my question before, is that possible to add new field or column (text field) in this layout? If the answer is Yes, appreciate Gurus help and guide me in configuration, if any.

    Thank you for your kind reply. Based on the answer from the link you have given me (as per below quote), there's no "DEM03" in my selection screen. We only have SAP01, SAP02 and GL001 (customised layout). That's why i had created new customised layout GL002 and try to add the "text" field in layout as per my first question. But system still won't allow it.
    *"In F-02 under editing option screen screen templates and line layout variant for document entry will be there in that
    GL accounts items for fast entry select DEM03 u will get the text item"*
