Changing aol password on a bb pearl

Hello.  I changed my aol password this morning, then got a notice from bb that says I must update the password in the blackberry internet service. The notice says that I can open the bb internet service account two ways - click the email setup application on your device or use the computer. Go to email accounts page.Edit my aol account, then update the password field and save.
I need to do it on my bb pearl.  My question is does anyone know where the email setup application is on the pearl? Or where the email accounts page is? Or where you go to change your aol password?  I have looked under Blackberry setup and options, but cannot find where to change it.

Eacanterbury, I aplogize.  I re-read your question and said you "need to do it on my bb pearl". Sometimes I get in a hurry!  I agree with sgardne, see if you have it hidden. Go to home screen then BlackBerry key SHOW ALL and see if it is hidden.

    Changing your password will mean that the Mail app won't be able to download any new emails unless the password is also changed in the Mail account's Settings. Also any passwords that you've saved in Safari for logging into sites should also be changed. If you set up MobileMe/Find My iPad on it then you also give yourself the potential chance of being able to remotely wipe the iPad's contents - though that is only possible if the iPad is connected to a network and MobileMe hasn't been disabled on it.

    read this post ( KB29891 ), to see if you outbound mail server is being blocked..  or something changed when you did the password change.

  • HAD TO RESET MY AOL PASSWORD AND NOW MY BLACKBERRY WON'T LET ME SEND EMAILS.

    I had to reset my AOL Password and now my Blackberry won't let me send send emails.  I can still receive them but can not reply either.  Went to setup to change AOL password there and it wouldn't take my Blackberry Password ID.  So I clicked on "forgot password".  It said it was sending my password to ######(my cell number)@vzn.blackberry.net       Where is this???????  How do I find it?

    We all need access to our email and we're happy to help make sure you are able to use your email account. Are you receiving a specific error message when attempting to send emails? Have you attempted to remove the AOL account entirely and the re-adding it? How did you attempt to reset the password?   • I recently changed my aol password and now I cannot get mail.  When I go to settings, Mail, Contacts, Calendars the accounts portion is grayed out and will not let me open.  How do I fix this problem?

    I recently changed my aol password and right after I changed, I cannot get mail.  I get a a pop up block that says, Cannot Get Mail, the user name or password for AOL is incorrect, settings, OK.  I go to settings as suggested but the account area is grayed out and will not let me open.  Need help on how to fix this problem.  I tried sync with my PC and that did not help either.

    It sounds like you might need to contact Yahoo! if you aren't able to setup your email account as a new account after deleting it.

    in settings, mail, go through the setting for sending again.  you need to restate your password.  make sure the server name and port are correct.  It may be simpler to delete the account and start over - ( you mail is still on the aol server - it will not be lost)
    If you are not real sure of the settings, simply google aol mail settings, and you should get a clear answer.
    since you are receiving, you have the right password in place  - you just need to reconnect to the sending server.

    in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete your e-mail account and reenter it
    OR
    IMHO the better solution is to set Apple mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences

    Go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select the account, then tap the account on the popup that you should get, and then tap on the SMTP server name

    You are referring to your iTunes/app store account? You will need to sign out of your old account on your iPhone and sign in with the new one.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.
