Changing Apple ID Country w/out Losing Apps

Hi,
I just moved to the US from Canada for work and am looking to change my Apple ID's country from Canada to US (I'm changing credit cards). However, I use this Apple ID for everything (iPhone, iPad, Mac App Store, Apple TV) and DO NOT WANT TO LOSE MY PURCHASES. I am looking to know if I will be able to keep all the apps/content I've purchase (with or without downloading them all again) and what the proper process is to switch countries.

If you mean create a new ID, you will have to continue to use the old ID for updating existing apps. There is no way to merge accounts.

Apple ID is only valid for purchases in the Swiss iTunes Store.
The issue is that your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store alert. For example, the App Store may prompt you to update "Angry Birds" or "Twitter," but the hacked app may be something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you must carry out a systematic search with Spotlight.
1. Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
2. In the Finder, press command-F to open a search window, or select
File ▹ Find
from the menu bar. In the search window, select

Other...
A sheet will drop down. In that sheet, select
Raw Query
as the criterion, then click OK or press return.
Now there will be a text box to the right of the menu of search criteria. That's where you enter the raw search query. Click in that box and paste the text you copied earlier by pressing command-V.
4. The search window will now show all the App Store products that are installed. Compare those search results with the list of your purchases from the App Store. To see the complete list, you may need to unhide hidden purchases. If any apps were download from the App Store using other Apple ID accounts that you control, sign in to the store under each of those ID's and check the purchases.
At least one of the apps in the Spotlight search results is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash, after quitting it if it's running. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
Quit and relaunch the App Store. Test.
If you find these instructions confusing, ask for an alternative method.

Changing Apple Store Country

When i bought my iPhone, the Apple Store was not available under my Country Bahrain so I had to choose the nearest Country (i.e. Kuwait). Afterward, my Country Bahrain has been included but when I changed the Country to Bahrain I have experienced that the Applications' updates were not received by me that made me to change again the Country to Kuwait even though it is not my Country!!
Currently, I am experiencing difficulty in finding "Google Earth Application" in my Store and some friends told me it is because of your Country!!!
Could you please find a solution for me to change my Country without losing the Application updates?

I use apps that I have purchased in one country in another country every day.
Other folks report that when they first change the country and the bank card associated with their Apple ID that the previous content does not appear in the purchased pane. However, they report that when it is time to update an app, that if they go through the motions of purchasing the app again, in the final steps of the purchase the iTunes Store realizes that they have previously bought the app and redownloads it for free. This can only ocur if the app is available in the app store in the new country and only if redownloads of the content are allowed in that country.
Some Middle Eastern countries have disallowed certain iOS apps for use by their citizens and residents and so they are not available in that cuntry's store.

I want to change it without losing data on apps or apps,
My ipad has never been synced with a Mac/Pc before,

No they will always remain under the old Apple ID.
You can't switch purchases between Apple accounts.

Change Apple ID Country

I've registered years ago my Apple ID in Italy because iTunes Store was not available in Albania. I always used ITunes Gift Cards bought in Italy to buy apps and music. Now that Albania is among the new countries added to the iTunes Store, i would like to change the country so i can add my credit card and continue buying apps or music with my credit card. Thankfuly there is an option to change the country of your Apple ID, but the balance must be 0 (very strange). I had 17€ left so i started spending on apps, till i was left with 0.65€. Considering that there is no way that i can spend excactly 0.65€, i cannot change my country. This is really annoying and makes no sense at all. Is there any way to spend all the balance (donating, buying, anything, its just 0.65€) so i can change the country?

Need to change apple id country

My iTunes is currently set to the US store but I want tot change it to the dutch store. When I click change country it won't allow me because i still have 16 cents store credit. It says: "you have a store credit balance; you must spend your balance before you can change stores". The problem is, how can I spent 16 cents. I don't have an American credit card to add enough to buy anything.

You must still have a credit card registered in the other country, and a physical address for billing in that country.
Then go to Settings > Stores (iTunes and App) > Apple ID > View Apple ID > enter password > Country/region and change to your other country.

I am currently living in Greece but if everything goes as planned I will movie to US late this year. I am planning to make some app purchases from the app store (iWork and iLife apps). I was wondering if they will be available to my devices that I will buy in US or the devices that I will bring with me, through iCloud of course, because now I am at the Greek app store but then I will be at the US. Can icloud sync this way?

Changed Apple ID on iPad, but Facebook app and iMessage remain the same

the same. I cannot update any apps and cannot log into iMessage and Facebook.
Can I delete those apps from my iPad and download them again?
I have gone through the process of deleting the old account from iCloud and setting up a new one with my new Apple ID.

Did the reboot and the old ID appears. Not sure where to find the "receive at," that is unfamiliar to me.
This all happened when I changed my apple id because of an email change. In retrospect, I dont' think I did it correctly because I was unaware of all the hoops one had to jump through. I unintentionally created a new Apple ID, which has spawned a whole host of problems--lost iTunes credit among others.
The iPad is off and connected, and I am hopeful that it will backup to the new iCoud account and maybe the iMdssage glitch will fix itself.
If I knew having an iPad would result in another huge headache to maintain accounts etc. I think I would have just stuck with my MacBook Pro!

HT5621 changed apple id but now cant update apps

Hi
I recently changed my apple id as previously it was an old obselete email address. I have now changed it to my new email address.
I now see on my iphone that I have updates for apps waitng to download and when I click "update all" a pop up box with my old apple id appears and asked me to enter the password. I thne tried to enter the password but get an error message saying the id or password is incorrect.
As a result I cant update my apps. What should I do?

Did you Create a New Apple ID...?
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID

Change Apple ID do you lose any apps/photos

My wife want to start using the same Apple ID. If we use the same Apple ID will she lose any of her current Apps/photos/music/contacts that she has currently purchased or put on her Iphone5?

She won't lose them, but she will still have to provide the password for the original ID when updating these apps. (Purchased content such as apps are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them.)
