On my iPad, I need to change the Account (Apple ID) under iCloud but it does not allow me. This iPad now belongs to my wife who has her own Apple ID.
Currently when I sign in in iCloud.com with her account and go to "Find my iPad" it shows the name of the iPad OK but as Offline.

To change the iCloud account you have to delete the account, then create a new account (or sign in to an alternate existing account) on the iPad. However, if you need to migrate existing data on the iPad to this alternate account, start by going to Settings>iCloud, then turn off all synced data (contacts, calendars, etc.). When prompted, choose to keep the data on the iPad. When everything is off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Then set up the new iCloud account and turn iCloud syncing back On (which will upload the data to the new account). If prompted, choose Merge.

I recently purchased an iPhone 5C, so I haven't been using my iPod Touch, which is a generation 4. I want to update the music on it, and I'm sure I can without using iCloud, but here is my problem:
It keeps asking me to sign into iCloud. I've changed my iCloud email address and password around the time I got my iPhone. It won't let me change the email, and I've tried typing in my old and new password to change it, but it's not accepting anything.
Any help appreciated.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

It won't give me the option to sign out of the old account, it's that light grey color that you can't click on. And since it has the old email address that it's telling me to go into to verify the account, I can't actually change it... I'm stuck

Settings-icloud-scroll to the bottom, select delete, if you want to keep the content select keep, otherwise it'll remove it. Then once it is done add the account information for the account you want on that phone. Your apple ID in settings-store will remain the same and each device can still purchase/use content from that account.

That's not the correct port. It should be 993 for incoming.
If you signed into iCloud from the System Preferences, it should automatically create the iCloud account for you in Mail. Sounds like it is an account you already had set up for MMe in Mail.
Open Mail preferences, open the Accounts tab, disable that account in the advanced pane.
Open Sys Prefs, open the iCloud tab, and sign out of iCloud. Then sign back in and see if a new iCloud account is automatically created.

However you can create three 'email aliases' - these are extra addresses, not accounts, which deliver into the same inbox as the main address.

It's actually quite a good idea to give out an alias address rather than the main one, since these can be easily changed should you get spammed.

Hi Friend,
Delete the account (in Settings>iCloud), then set up a new account using her ID. If you need to migrate any iCloud data to the new account, be sure to choose "Keep on My iDevice" when prompted about what to do with the iCloud data; then when setting up the new account, to merge the data with the new account be sure to choose Merge.

But a few days ago, in order to sync my Notes or Messages (I don't remember which), my Macbook said I had to create an iCloud.com e-mail address. So I made one. But the problem is that I my [email protected]'s iCloud account now uses the iCloud e-mail address.
When I go to Settings > iCloud > Account ([email protected]) > Mail > Email ([email protected]), to try to change the Email ack to [email protected] the Email option is grayed out... How come I can't use my own Gmail account w/ my Gmail-set-up Apple ID account... I don't even use the iCloud e-mail address so it's completely useless to have it linked to my iCloud account.
I know I could just set up another account through Settings > Mail in order to view my Gmail in the Mail application... but I like to be consistent and have my Gmail email w/ my Gmail Apple ID. ANYWAY TO FIX THIS?????????

I Added the wrong icloud.com email address under the advance option under the icloud section on the ipad, but I used the correct apple I'd on the first page that shows daa plans and such, but at the bottom of the page it has an advanced option, I added my friends email address that I gave the ipad to, he is my roomie. Everything will go to my apple I'd, that's the way I want to keep it, but what is the advanced option for anyway, a backup email address? i Hope this explains my screwup, got a little thrown off when the setup screen for the new iOS started. I guess what is important is what is the icloud.com for anyway, besides replacing the .me and the .mac.

The problem is that all services are bundled with your Apple ID ([email protected]):
Your iCloud account (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, Backups, etc.),
also iTunes & App Store purchases (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.),
and the iTunes Match services.
(I guess that all your devices - yours and your wife's are connected to one iTunes library, right?)
If you want that your wife gets her own iCloud account for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. but gets also access to your media then you have two set up two things on her device:
iCloud (Settings > iCloud) with her account (e.g. [email protected])
and
iTunes & App Stores (Settings > iTunes & App Stores) with your account (e.g. [email protected]).
In this case she gets access to your library and could use the same iTunes Match account.
