Changing Audio Language in Netflix (Latin America)

Hi all,
I´m having issues with Netflix in Latin America from an Apple TV. Many movies have three languages (spanish, english and portuguese) and depending the availabitty it starts by default in spanish. I prefer english but i can´t find the way to change the audio language, I´ve found out how to change subtitules but I can´t find the way to change audio language.
I alredy tried changing the defalut audio options on the Apple Tv general seetings but that haven´t changed a thing. It seems to be a limitation on iOS devices cause I´m also experiencing the same thing on my iPhone 4.

Usaba Netflix en mi PS3 y cambiar el audio a otro idioma era una sencillez.
Desde que Netflix lanzó para iOS y Apple TV, he notado que es imposible cambiar el audio (en mi iPhone), solo hay opciones para subtítulos. En el Apple TV, algunas películas se reproducen por defecto en español y no puedo cambiarlas al audio en inglés.
Me gusta más la interfaz en Apple TV (y uso mi iPhone como remoto) que en PS3, por eso la molestia mía, si no, no me importara tanto.
Sugiero que todos hagamos un "feedback" a Apple y/o llamemos a Netflix Servicio al Cliente para presionar para que mejoren el servicio, es un problema nuevo porque a nosotros los latinoamericanos nos gusta más escuchar el audio en el idioma original y leer subtítulos, estamos acostumbrados a eso.

on the pc I have the option and he respects but in apple tv fails it as I can do to make it, or as I do to return the equipment so it is not of my interest has 60 days to buy but had seen series in Spanish and so far I see other series I realize as I fix?

i would try resetting the unit hold down on menu & down buttons until the status light blinks rapidly. the other would be to go to "settings" in the appletv menu and there should be a language option.

Wrong Netflix Audio Language

I am having issues setting the Audio Language in the Netflix App, for exaple in "the hunt fo the red octuber", through the website I can set up the audio language to English, Portuguese and Spanish, and the subtitles to Spanish and Portuguese, but in Apple TV 2 the Audio Language is always set to Portuguese, disregarding the Apple TV configuration which is Audio: English and Subtitles: Spanish. I also tried changing it to Default, but teh result was no different.
If I press the settings button, the ATV gives me the option to change de subtitles, but not the audio.
I am using netflix in Latin America.
Any one has a sugestion????

And it is actually working with an exception, the default audio will be english unless there is an other language that has better audio, for example, if the movie has 3 languages English (Stereo), Spanish (Stereo) and Portuguese (Stereo) english will be default, but if the theres a case were 1 of the languages is not stereo but better, as 5.1 Dolby, the better audio will be automatically selected as default, for example if English (Stereo), Spanish (Stereo) and Portuguese (5.1 Dolby), then the movie will play in Portuguese, no matter what your default preference is.
There is no way to fix this, because the ATV does not give the option to change the audio language on Netflix (It does on iTunes), and and Netflix App is omitting the web page preferences and the ATV preferences. Basically is and App problem, I don't know who developed the App, but the problem is definitely the app, that has not implemented all of the options the API allows.

Do I get English language versions when I purchase through the Latin America website?

Earlier in the year I upgraded to Photoshop CS6 and LR5. I've always used the English language versions and am considering moving to the Creative Cloud, but, as a resident of Puerto Rico, I must purchase from your Latin America website. My questions is: are all applications in English or am I forced to use the Spanish version?

For anyone in Puerto Rico who wants Creative Cloud I have a work around and have discovered the problem. First the problem: When I could not order CC online the reason was that the address in my profile had the country listed as Puerto Rico and you cannot change country as it is based on your address. After many calls to customer service and the help here online from Beverly, I noticed my country had been switched to United States (which is correct as Puerto Rico is not a country) and my State/Province was now PR. That allowed the logic on the ordering page to process that I was in USA and it provided me with the proper order form. Adobe really should run an Update Query on their database and move all the IDs that have Puerto Rico as their country to USA and their state equal to PR.
For the work around: Log on from a US recognized network. My friend had the same problem but instead of going through the hassle of all the calls and emails that I did we just used her iPhone on the AT&T 3G network. The website logic recognizes this as a United States network and the proper order form appears. Likewise if you have access to a Federal network and can surf the web on their system it will produce the order form. If you use Onelink or PRT/Claro and probably the local ISPs the website logic assumes you are logging on from outside the USA and the form doesn't appear and you are prompted to call Sales, who will NOT sell to PR over the phone.

I live in Latin America so when I purchased my new PC it came with Windows 7 in Spanish and I didn't have a chance to change it. Actually, I prefer the OS, the browser and all my programs to be in English, but everything I download is in Spanish and I don't know how to change it.

How can I change the language of a movie I am watching on my Netflix app on the iPad

I am watching a movie on my iPad via the Netflix app and the movie is in Spanish, I would like it to be in English but I can't find a way to fix the problem, please help.

But in the Netflix app is a place where you can watch unlimited movies and tv shows for only around 8 dollars a month.
so what i need help in is how to change the language of the movie that i am watching, in the app there in no menu or any way to rent, buy, or download moveis, (atleast non that i am aware of)
So if i am watching a movie and it is being played in spanish, i would like to know how i acn change the language of the movie.

Unforunately you can't. Its like if you went to a video store there in Netherlands and bought a DVD then got it home and found out it was in Dutch and there is no other audio options. There is no way to magically dub the movie in English. Your iTunes and iPod settings only govern your menus and preference IF alternate options is available already coded into the file, but most movies downloaded from iTunes aren't going to have multiple language audio tracks. If you can't access the U.S. or British store and your kids don't speak Dutch yet, then you will just have to find some other way to get movies for them than iTunes.
The reason for this is legal reasons. In the United States I am only able to purchase videos authorized for sale in the United States. In Britain, you are only able to purchase videos authorized for sale in Britain. Same with Netherlands. Now, with DVDs you could get a regionless DVD player and order your DVDs from Britain or America to get English versions, but you can't do that with iTunes... No British address, no British store access. No British store access, no movies in English.

EDIT: OK I have what i HOPE is good news for you.. I double checked my movies and found out that they do in fact have two audio tracks! In my case, both are English, one being Stereo and one being Surround Stereo though SO, when you open the movie, you should see a little chat bubble on the right side of the little popup menu at the bottom of the screen when you move your mouse. Click that, and there MAY be more audio options there... If there isn't, then you really are out of luck.

SAP audio language not working for *any* channels. Useless tech already came out!

Just got the FIOS service this Friday.
I'm very happy with the internet. Very fast!
The TV, I'm not so happy about.
Having come from AT&T U-Verse, and Time Warner Cable before that, I've gotten used to having the HBO channel lineup (or any premium channels like Showtime/Cinemax/etc) and being able to easily switch between English and Spanish audio. So far, between 6 calls to customer service (each one of them telling me it's possible), and one extremely clueless tech that just left my home after only 5 minutes, I've not been able to do this.
I can SEE the option for SAP! I KNOW HBO offers Spanish audio for its' non-HBO Latino channels. I also know that not all movies have Spanish audio, but the majority of new HBO movies do.
A guy on the phone on Saturday had me convinced that to watch HBO channels with Spanish audio, I had to purchase your Spanish package that comes with extra Spanish channels. I thought this was ridiculous -- since I've already got a PREMIUM package, why in the world would I need to get another package to listen to that premium one in Spanish?! Anyways, I got the package and still no Spanish HBO.
The tech that came and left in 5 minutes changed the channel to HBO Latino and said, "Here, it's working". I pointed out that HBO Latino is not what I meant - none of the other HBO channels have Spanish, althought we could see they said SAP.
What gives, Verizon? This, coupled with the fact that I can't set my main DVR to record a show we're watching on an HD receiver in another room without physically going to the DVR itself (or using a cellphone app!) and that apparently I can only record 1 show on the DVR at a time, has me pining for AT&T... which I never thought would happen.
Hell, even Time Warner Cable's HBO lineup has Spanish.
Sounds to me like your all-fiber network isn't up to snuff on some very basic things.

I speak English living in the Italian part of Switzerland but when I set the country to Switzerland I just get loads of products in German (like audio-books).
Does anyone know how to change the language to English, (not the language of itunes itself just the store).

From reading other posts here I believe the Music Store selectability are controlled by the country in which you reside, and probably the language reflects whatever is established for that country. Still, given the multi-language nature of Switzerland it strikes me as odd that you aren't seeing at least a French, Italian and possibly even Romansch versions (I don't subscribe to iTunes so I can't see any versions).

I live in America and downloaded a few movies in english. Now my little sister is goming over for vacation and she's not that good in english so she wont undestand. I tried to change the language from english to german but the only language who appeared was english. Does anybody know how to change it/ is it even possible?

In Itunes or on the ipod video is there anyway to switch the audio languages. I have decrypted a movie two different ways. I have included the total languages and also just checked for the Spanish on the other. On the one with total languages it only plays in English, on the other it does not play the language at all. it is on Audio 2, but I can't play it on my itunes in Spanish. Not at this time to my knowledge. Only full media players like QT or VLC currently seem to have the ability to switch audio tracks during playback. While it is possible to create QT/iTunes/iPod compatible files with alternate audio tracks, neither iTunes nor the iPod appear to currently have a "control" to switch from one to another. You can, of course, either create separate versions -- each with a different audio track -- or use QT Pro to re-designate primary/alternate track settings in a single file and re-sync it each time you wish to changes languages.

The thing is I live in Germany and was about to buy a film on iTunes —for the first time as currently stated— but I wouldn't like to have the film dubbed in german —which is how they normally have them here—, instead, I'd like to have it in its original language; english. ¿How could I do this? ¿Is it even possible to change the language even though I'm on the german store/live in Germany? Just bought an Apple TV from the France Apple store. I've got a few films that I've purchased from the iTunes store too. The ones I've purchased there are both in English and French. Not all films are done in two languages but it seems that if the original version is in English, then it will have both.
As for switching between two languages, I just ran into that problem. I sent the video from my laptop to the Apple TV. On my computer it would play in English but played on the TV, it would play only in French.
Solution, you don't have a simple menu icon to click on, or button on the Apple TV remote. You'll have to go into settings --> audio and video -- > Audio Language (or subtitle language if you are looking for that).
If it is set to "Default" it chooses the language you hear. I heard French probably because I bought the film in the French iTunes store. When I chose "English" as the Audio Language, the film switched to English.
I hope this helps you and others who run into the same question.

It sounds like you are wanting to change the language of a movie you purchased in iTunes. You can do that by following the following steps from the article named:

On iPad, tap on the speech bubble on left of the playback controls. If you're using any of your devices with AirPlay to stream your movie via Apple TV, you can change the audio or subtitle language from your device as you watch.
