Changing billing address?

I have followed the instructions to change my billing address however the "edit" is not showing up or it is saying it has been declined. i dont want to create a new apple ID is there anything i can do?

Sounds like you need to enter a valid payment method. Enter one.

    Before you change the country, you might want to note the following:
    1) If you have store credit, you must use the credit before you can change countries.
    2) You will need to download all purchased content. In addition, rented items must be past their 30-day expiration. For more information on rentals, please see:

    3) You must provide a payment method, such as a credit or debit card associated with a valid billing address in the new country. An iTunes Store Gift Card issued in the new country is also an acceptable payment method.
    4) After you change countries, you will no longer receive application update notifications in iTunes for the apps you purchased in your original country. However, you'll still receive update notifications on your iOS device for any applications installed on it.
    5) If you have an iTunes Match subscription, you can't change countries until the subscription has expired.
    6) If you have purchased a Season Pass, you cannot change the country associated with your account until that season is done airing and the last episode of the season has been added to the iTunes Store.
    7) If you have been using iTunes in the Cloud to download past purchases from your Purchased page, these purchases will no longer appear when you change the country.
    That said, you can change the country for your account using a computer using these steps:
    1) Sign in to the iTunes Store.
    2) From the Store menu, select View My Apple ID.
    3) Sign in with your Apple ID.
    4) Click Change Country or Region.
    5) Choose your new country from the menu, and click Change.

  • Not able to change Billing address

    Hello,
    I purchased my iphone4 when I was working in Dubai. 3 weeks back I decided to move back to my home back in India. Having resently got my credit card I decided to update my billing information. To my surprise it shows that I have $1.5 pending ! The systems asked me to enter my old Credit card details ( card I once owned in Dubai). I am not able to change my address nor am I am able to change my credit card details till this is sorted.
    Well I have left Dubai (UAE) for good. Credit card I have once have been cancelled. I will be more the happy to my any dues (if any)  from my Current Indian card, if I am allowed to change my account details.
    If not I will be stuck and will not be able to purchase any new apps or upgrade the same. Please help me

    They should respond within 24 hours.

    Four days ago, I contacted customer support about changing my billing address in Skype Manager. I am unable to change my billing address in Skype Manager. When I click edit on the billing address, the registration address shows up instead and is uneditable. I contacted customer service three times since then, and Customer Service told me that the Specialized team would contact me within twenty-four hours. I have never heard from the Specialized team. Since the method of contacting customer service results in broken promises from Skype, is there an alternative method to resolve my problems or is there a way to change my billing address?

    Did you manage to resolve the problem? I went to Skype live chat support. She made it work: "I requested to enable the edit button on the account". 
    So, it seems like you have to request that the edit button is made life.

    Let’s face it – on a scale of zero to tedious, moving house would have to score a perfect ten!
    If you’re anything like me, after hastily packing up your (way too many) belongings in pre-categorised boxes, cancelling the paper, organising removalists and then falling in a heap, the last thing you feel like doing is changing your billing address with your Service Provider...
    I mean even once you arrive at your new place, usually you’re way too busy living in your little fortress of unpacked boxes...You may even start to wonder if ‘relocation denial’ is some kind of real and diagnosable condition (!)
    So, let me make updating your billing address with Telstra that little bit more straightforward.  
     ·         Firstly, you’ll just need to ensure you are registered for My Account   
           If you aren’t already signed up, you can do so here.
     ·         Once registered, you can then login with your Username and Password:
     ·         When you have entered your Main Details screen, hover over the My Account tab (top centre menu,
           shaded light blue) and then click on Billing, which is the second option down.
     ·         You will then see a menu on the left hand side of your screen, with an option to Update Billing   
           Address about 2/3 down the list.
     ·         Click on this link and then just simply overwrite your old address details with your new address and hit
           NEXT. Once you’ve confirmed the details are correct, just hit SUBMIT.
    Snap. It’s done – your next invoice will be sent to your new address!! If not, let us know and we'll close the loop 
    THE FINE PRINT...Please just note that if you are amending your details 1-2 days before your next invoice is due to be sent, the change may not take effect until your following invoice. Likewise, if your current invoice was issued a week or so beforehand and is still yet to be received in the post, you may still need to retrieve it from your old address, or through Mail forwarding.
    So that’s pretty much it from me...All that’s left now is to wish you good luck with your new neighbours...oh and also, you might eventually need to unpack those boxes!

    When clicking on update my billing adress it redirects you to a page that says "You could not be logged in to Online Billing. 
    There may be a temporary problem, or part of the system may be unavailable due to regular maintenance. Please try again later. " 
    this hs been constant the last 3 days. any advice would be great

  • Unable to Upgrade App After Changing Billing Address

    Recently I have moved from USA to INDIA. Hence, I changed my billing address and updated credit card information associated with my apple id.
    After that I am unable to get free upgrade for apps that I had purchased with my US credit card.

    I too have the same problem: I changed my contact email. I was forcefully logged out by Azure. After logging back in it said it could not find my subscription and I no longer have any benefits. The support phone number Azure pointed me to pointed me to
    this forum. How awesome to see the forum points me right back to online help that pointed me to the call center that pointed me here.

    Hi, I just bought an iPad. When I go to make a purchase it allows me to enter a card with billing details. However, it only gives me the option to enter a US address. However, my billing address is in the UK. I originally set up my Apple ID with a US address but have since changed it to the UK address. However, the prices are still displayed in US dollars and the billing address still requires a US address. (In case ti, I am currently in the US but do not live here.) Thanks in advance!

    You need to change your billing details for your iTunes account.
    CHANGING APPLE ID/EDIT ACCOUNT INFORMATION/CHANGE ITUNES COUNTRY
    Tap Settings / iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in. Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2731?viewlocale=en_US
    Go to settings/facetime and tap the ID there and log out and log in with new ID.
    Go to settings/messages and turn off imessages wait 30 seconds and turn it back on, go to “receive messages  at” tap on the ID there, sign out and sign in with new ID.
    Go to settings/icloud and delete the account and when prompted select “keep information on your device” then turn it back on with the new ID.
    To edit account information tap Settings / iTunes & App Stores / Apple ID: / View Apple ID
    To change your iTunes Store country, sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you would like to use, tap Settings/iTunes & App Store/Apple ID/View Apple ID/Country/Region

    - You do not want to set up a new account if you have media purchased with the old account. You have to log into the account the purchased items to update apps and authorize computers to use the items.
    - Just edit the account to reflect Switzerland, this includes the payment method (card billing address) too. Also, if yo use a gift card, the card has to have been purchased in Switzerland.

    I have have tried to change my billing information but I keep getting this same responce.... "There was a problem saving. Please try again.
    Address line 1, postal code, country code or Address line 1, city name, State Province, country code are required."
    when I try to buy a song I get the initial "the billing information does not match my zip code information of my bank"
    I checked my credit card and my bank, both have my latest address but for some reason Itunes does not see this or allow me to change it.
    can anyone help me with how I can get my address changed
    somehow I think I will have to call them to find out why it wont allow me.

    Ugh, I am having the same error. I moved two months ago and have already updated the new address with my credit card.
    I have tried updating my address in iTunes and on Apple.com. I get the same error. I have emailed iTunes support. I have called Apple customer service and I tried the online chat with customer service. No one can help and they all keep pointing the finger at someone else. I am getting the run around and it's driving me crazy.
    Did you ever get a solution to this error??

    Need to change country to buy stuff in iTunes lain America but can't figure how.

    Basically, I have fixed the problem by just
    putting in my new email address and leaving the
    old one in there because I can't seem to delete
    it.  I go to Edit - Contact Book, and highlight
    my old email address in the list and click on
    Delete.  I get a message box saying:
    "One or more selected contacts have matching
    Order Prints recipients. Before you can delete
    this contact, you must first delete the recipient
    from the Order Prints palette."  So I go to the
    Order Prints palette, and my old email address
    isn't even in there. I had changed it over a year
    ago to my new one.  Very strange.  The bottom
    line is; that I can't delete my old email address
    from the recipient list, but since I added my new
    one, I can live with it that way. Since this
    Photoshop program is set up with Kodak Gallery,
    it might be the Kodak Gallery part of the process
    that is not letting me do this.  (I just want my
    address in there to email a photo to myself once
    in awhile to see how it comes up.) I have no
    problem deleting and editing other peoples'
    addresses. I have Adobe Photoshop 4.0, which I
    know is quite old and now has no online support,

    You can solve the problem with the basis Guy's .
    DIvide the authorization ...
    Between Sales Guys
    give Authorization of XD01 or VD01 and XD03 or VD03 Only.
    for the Finance or the accounts Guys ..
    Give the authorization of XD02.
    SO now the sales Guys cannot change master records Name and others ,
    for Further secority. Make sure to Give the change of Name to only some selected High Management people withoit the approval the Customer Name cannot be changed.
    I am sure your problem will be solved.

  • How do I change my credit card billing address to another country? The iTunes billing address edit only offers an option for a different State, but my credit card billing address is now New Zealand.

    I recently moved out of the US to another country and changed my billing address at my credit card company to my new country.  Now iTunes won't let me edit my credit card billing information because the "edit" option on the billing address only lets you change states, not countries.  There is a non-spendable balance on my iTunes account because it's an odd amount, and iTunes won't let me change my iTunes store to my new country as long as there is a balance showing in my US iTunes store account.  So I'm stuck.  I can't spend my balance in my account. I can't change the balance to a spendable amount because iTunes no longer accepts my credit card because my credit card's new zip code billing address doesn't match my iTunes account.  I can't change my iTunes account to my new country as long as there is a balance in my US iTunes store.  How can I change my iTunes account information to my new country under these circumstances?

    I am stuck with a similar problem. I moved from Ireland to the UK but for some reason, iTunes would not let me change the country in my payment information, it remains Ireland. I do not have any credit to spend and I still cannot change it. I even set up a new iTunes account and the country still remains uncangable. Hence, I cannot add the details of my UK card as iTunes believes it is set in Ireland. Have you managed to solve your problem?
