Changing Blackberry Contacts Sync options
I have accidentally synced all my contacts to an email address that is temporary.
how would i change this?
i scroll throught my contact list and 90% of them are synced to this 1 email address,
please advise,

I tried powering down and re-starting the iPhone (as suggested at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275). This seems to have cleared the "...not connected to the Internet" problem, and iOS 6.1 is now in the process of downloading.

I'm trying to update my IPAD 2 to iOS 7.1.2 but don't have enough memory to do so. In I-Tunes I'm told to change my media sync options to gain more memory, but I don't know how. Can you help?
Turn off the check mark to sync your music and also the check mark for the video. Sync the device. This will remove the items from you iPad but still keep them on your computer. Install IOS 7.1.2. Then turn on the check marks for your music and videos and resync the device.

There are no settings to change. Assuming you are using Lion 10.7.2 (or 10.7.3) - which you should be - you simply sign in in System Preferences>iCloud and check 'Contacts' and any other data you want to sync.
If you are using an earlier system you will not be able to sync your contacts, and there is no workaround. However you can sync them with Google or Yahoo contacts, though I don't know how well this works. -
when i drag and drop to my ipod it wants to sync everything, but if i make changes to the syncing options and apply it wants to sync it all to make it work. i have 12000 songs and takes two days to sync everything. is there an easier way to drag and drop just one album without making settings changes?
The first ever Sync of 12,000 songs to an empty iPod will take a while, but it shouldn't take two days.
Once all 12,000 songs have been Synced to the iPod, subsequent changes to just one album will result in a very short Sync time. That Sync will include:
the change to that one album
play counts on iPod updated into your iTunes Library
Smart Playlists updated: some complex Smart Playlists are not always updated by the iPod but have to wait for a Sync with the Library.
housework - in other words, behind the scenes tasks that we don't need to see.
Those subsequent Syncs do not sync every single song every time.
So, stick with Syncing. If the first Sync of all your songs is taking too long, try syncing part of the Library (say one or two genres) the first time, a further part the second time and so on. After all, with a Library that large, manually managing the iPod will be a source of torture. -

You need to untick items you sync via iTunes and reduce the space used on the iPhone as in a videos etc etc
If you can do the update via itunes it does all the hard work unpacking the update and pumping the update to the device otherwise the device takes the strain requiring more space than you may have -

What media sync options? Where are they ? How do I change them?Afraid, this doesnt help. I've already unselected about 100 iTunes, resynced, and I still get the same message about 610 MB needing to be deleted.
What is so magic about 610 MB as a number?
Is this anything to do with iCloud? I was on the free 20 MB offeruntil last month and then got downgraded to 5 because I could n't see the need for paying for extra Cloud space. Is this the reason why? -

Open iTunes on your computer.
From the Store menu, choose Store > Sign In, and then enter your Apple ID and password.

Choose the appropriate video type: Movies or TV Shows.

How do I change media sync options on my iPhone 5?
When you get this message there is no alternative but to delete content from your phone, this per my conversation with Apple support a few minutes ago. In that cast try to delete only free apps or things like podcasts that can easily be restored from the original source should you desire to do so.
iTunes is a very poorly written program with an ancient interface--in 2014 it does not even support windowing. You are foolish to rely on iTunes for backing up and restoring whatever programs or data in order to upgrade the iOS. Apple's only concern with restoring and backing up data centers on DRM protrected music purchased from iTunes, nothing else and is designed to not restore media files not purchased from iTunes. Hence in my experience Apple telephone support will tell you to use third party software for transferring media from an old to a new phone when you encounter the inevitable problems. If as I do you use the phone for business software back up your data in the way that program deigns and do not rely on iTunes, particularly prior to upgrading the OS or transferring data to a new phone. -
When syncing contacts using iTunes between Outlook and iPhone, I receive a message that says it will "change more than 5% of the contacts on this computer."
Does anyone know exactly what will be changed in my Outlook contacts? Data deleted out of the contacts? If so, I can't sync my contacts as all contact information in Outlook is important.You'd probably be better off asking this in the iPhone forums:

I now currently sync w/ outlook. Thinking of switching to maybe windows. Is this the same as windows live or hotmail contacts? My wife syncs w/ google. It kind of a pain to have to switch the itunes user everytime we sync our phones, but we don't want ever contact the other has so we use different contacts books. Any way to solve this??

we have bought for 2 out of 3 people the E71 and we are extremly happy with the phone. Only the issue you raised is bugging us as well. We have our personal contact folders which are automatically synchronised with our phones (meaning user1 is sync'ed with users outlook contact folder, which contains his personal contacts and the same with user2); all the business contacts are in a public folder, which we would like to have synchronised with user1 and user2 E71. Trying to get something out of microsoft, but.... .
Do you guys know a way around it? We would be even happy to have just one set of contacts containing our private and the business contacts.

On the device, go to Settings>icloud. Be sure icloud is on and using the right ID. If not, scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Delete Account - this just disconnects the device from that account, no data is lost. Then log back in using the correct ID. ALSO - be sure the Contacts are turned on (on the same screen).

The contact sync will only sync to the gmail address that it is integrated. If you add another gmail address, then you can sync to that other address.
