Changing Budget amount values after the budget is released in Compensation.

Hello All-
Is there a way to change the budget amount in a budhget unit in Compensation management once its released? The budget value once released goes into Infotype 1520 Final Budget. Is there a way to change that value? I tried using PP01 and PP02 but I can not see the value to change it.

HI,
You can not change the budget value once it's ben released.. you can create a new budget and tag it to the compensation adjustment.

I use the device DAQ USB-6341 to generate the desired voltage waveform by the "finite samples" sample mode.
I notice that the channel resets to zero volts after the DAQmx task is done and the DAQ USB-6341 does not have
the property AO.idleOutputBehavior to select "Maintain Existing Value".
How can I maintain the last AO value after the DAQmx task is done on device DAQ USB-6341 ?

How many computers do you have in the network?
What is the IP address and default gateway number on your computer?
In order to connect to the wireless network, WVC80N should get valid IP address from the access point.
If the access point has capacity to assign a private IP address to the computers and devices then I think you can use WVC80N.

Major Update: The G-Keys can now be edited without recompiling by editing shell scripts at "/usr/share/g15daemon/macros/"
Each button has it's own script file named by it's label (e.g. to edit the functionality of G1, open the script named G1.) The button will try to execute the scripts as programs, so make sure they are executable (chmod +x) and as long as the name remains the same, if you want to replace the files with something different, know that the arguments currently given to the files ($1 and $2) are ($1)on/off and ($2)0-2 (where 0 is M1 and 2 is M3)

"Modified By" Field Value is same "Created By" field value after the workflow completion.Sp 2010 workflows

I have a work flow A attached to List List1
I have Added an item(now created by and modified by are same)
Next Person B modified
Ideally created by value and modified by value should be different, but they are same after the workflow completion
This is very strange as i am not modifying modified by field any where
Please let me know any one has faced similar problem

The workflow will run as the person who initiated it. As such if the workflow starts when an item is created then it'll be running as the user who created the item.
When the workflow changes anything the 'modified by' field will be updated to show the identity the workflow is running under. I think that explains your behaviour?
To change it you could use an impersonation step but that would simply replace one name with another. I don't think you've got access to the 'SystemUpdate()' method in workflows which would allow you to avoid updating the modfiied by and modified date fields.

Not allowing changes to payment terms after the AR document is released to accounting

Hi,
Anyone know the best way to not allow a user to change the payment terms after the AR document has been created in AR? This is affecting aging because users are changing the payment terms without permission. What is the best way to control that?

Frequent change in payment terms is something business should introspect. Payment term is decided and agreed upon with customer/vendor during the initial stages.
However from IT perspective, it can be controlled keeping some system controls.
1. Limit the Customer master change transaction to very limited users or to a manager. There should be internal approvals by management for business to make a change. Bring this into force.
2. Regularly run the customer master change reports and provide the trend to management to restrict or limit the changes.
3. Use Change Message control for master data by providing necessary warnings or error messages when master data is changed.
4. In the sales order level, there is every possibility to change the payment term. Based on the user authorization get the payment term field greyed out and provide change access to accounting or to a specific user upon approvals. This is a bit complex process but I feel this brings up controls and stops the process from exploitation.
5. Also activate 'Sensitive fields' KNB1-ZTERM for payment term field in customer master. This brings up another layer of confirmation of change by other users.
6. Another back route, not recommended in all cases, is to subsititute the required payment term during accounting document posting.

In WTY transaction, I am unable to view the change documents (Extras --> Change Documents) after the Claim is flagged off as "Complete"
Is there a way to overcome this ?

Imessage changed my phone number after the ios7 update

after the ios7 update imessaging has changed my number to some weird 7 digit number with a +1 (1) infront of it. if someone txts my actual phone number the message wont deliver.. i have reset everything on the phone multiple times and have did alot of troubleshooting for this and nothing seems to work. i went to the apple store and they said to call the techs.. i did that before i even went to the store and they couldnt do anything for me. if anybody has any ideas on how to fix this please help! thank you

You can't change it back by going to Settings>Phone, and then by clicking on your number at the top? It should take you to a screen that will allow you to delete what is there and type your own number in.

Call remains in "conferenced" state after the call is released

We have a scenario where a lengthy recorded message is set up through a ICM call routing script. If we call the number we assigned to the script using our hard phones the call is disconnected as soon as the recorded message is finished playing.
When we use Cisco Administrator Desktop and the conference feature, the call remains in the "conferenced" state after the call has been released.
My assumption was that our reports would be smarter than CAD and would get it right. However, reporting agrees with CAD, it thinks the call remained on a conference call for the whole time.
In the script we set some variables for the call, play the message through "RunExtScript" node, set a call type, than use the "ReleaseCall" node to disconnect the call. Any ideas how we can configure the script other than this?

can you tell us more - do you have Translation Routing set up, perhaps?
Also, can you take a look at the Router Log (on the Distributor server).
And please swith the script to Monitoring mode to see where it fails.

Changes in stock value of the material even after closing period

The client closes the accounts every month end. Say they close the books of accounts for the month of Jan07 on 31st Jan 2007. After closing the account they are running MC.9 to know the stock value of different plants for the previous month. i.e. for the month of Jan07. But every day when the client runs the MC.9 they found some differences in the stock price & quantity.
For better understanding, consider they close the period on 31st Jan. When they run the MC.9 on 2nd Feb it shows the value say 100$ and qty of 100. When we run the same report on 4th Feb the value got changed to say 98$ and qty remain same. Again when we run on 6th Feb the value is changed again to say 102$ and stock is 100.
We checked the MB51 with posting date & entered date. We could not find any back posting.
What could be the reason for the variation in the stock price & qty ? Any pointers will be highly appricated.

Your previous posting talked about variation in stock value and now you are saying that there are changes in stock qty also. So the better option would be to check those material which has variation and compare them with other standard reports to get a solution. Export the list of material to an excel sheet and compare them with that of the other reports. This would help you to find the materials which has changes and you can narrow down to the root cause. Once you get the material then u can go by posting date and find the movements.

Change an attribute value in the last level of a tree

I have a tree composed of 5 VO. Each VO represent a level of the tree. I made an "executeWithParam" in my VO level 1 to pass some parameters.
I would like to make a "setAttribute" on my VO level 5. I'm working with a tree, so i can't do : "getMyVo.getCurrentRow.setAttribute..."
How can i do?
ideas :
- Today, i use bind variable to pass parameters from first level VO to last level VO : can i put the bind variable value in an attribute value?
- Is there a method to override in the viewRowImpl.java to catch the "setAttributeInternal" made by ADF? so i could change the value of this attribute
- Is there a method to override in the viewImpl.java which can help me?
I try a lot of think without success... hope someone can help me

Changing of default values on the selection screen dynamically

      I have 2 radiobuttons R_A & R_B and i have one text field like P_TEXT. Based on selection of radio button i have to change the default values in P_TEXT on the selection screen. like if i select R_A i have to display P_TEXT = 'A'. if i select R_B then it has to display P_TEXT = 'B'. I tried like as below
in AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUPUT EVENT.
             IF R_A = 'X'
               P_TEXT = 'A'.
             ELSEIF R_B= 'B'.
               P_TEXT = 'B'.
             ENDIF.
        But it's not working. it is working only for first radio button. when i select second radio button it is not giving the second value. can any one tell the sol.

"we use user command with the radiobutton so that some event is occured in order to call AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.
AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.

ELSEIF r_b = 'X'.
    p_text = 'Hi'.
ENDIF.
In the above case 'AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT' will act as PBO of the selection screen and will change value of selection text as per condition.

Amount value after doenloading to excel displayed as "2,100.00"

i have alv report which displays o/p as
C1R-00001 1514 5,720.00 c1r-00011-21 5,720.00
here when i download to excel the value 5,720 is displayed or downloaded as
"5,720.00" so i am unable to upload the downloaded file into bdc as it is not abe to interpret.
suggest some conversion routine or shall i need to change the itabs declation type.

Hi,
One thin that u need to keep in mind while upload is that all the fields in the internal table must be character type.
If u upload 5270.00 in Character type, it wont give any error.

GB01-BOOLCLASS = 009
GB01-CLASSTYPE = S
GB01-BCLTAB = BSEG.
GB01-BCLFIELD = GSBER.
Upon input of above details, will get table Record as
BOOLCLASS    9
CLASSTYPE    S
BCLTAB       BSEG
BCLFIELD     GSBER
BEXCLUDE     X
In the record, the field GB01-BEXCLUDE has the value X in it. It should be replaced by value =.
Changes should be made ONLY for this record. Other Records should not be touched.
How can we do this. Help me in doing this.

Hi Ramya,
Follow these steps :
1. Goto the table GB01 -> Display its contents.
2. Double click the record which you want to edit.
3. Type /h (where you type transaction code) to go to debugging mode for that record.(Press enter twice to goto debugging mode)
4. Click on Field CODE and give it value EDIT and then click on the PENCIL icon besides it.
5. Now click on SAVE.
6. Switch off the Debugging mode now.
7. Now you can see your selected record in EDITABLE mode.
8. Do the EDIT part and SAVE.

Changing label set names after the fact

Hi,
Let's assume I have applied the standard labels to a set of images. Now, I decide that Red, Green, Blue,... are not self explanatory enough and I change the names of the default label set (this also applies to a custom label set).
Problem: for all images marked with the original label set, the label color switches back to white because the new names are not recognized.
How can I make the new names apply to the already marked images?

Glad you got it set now
That's not the case. My previous message explained what I exactly did but as I said, this procedure failed. When I deleted the temporary collections that I created (one for each label), all labels were switched to Custom (white). Here is exactly what happened:
1. I started with the standard label names (Red = Red, Green = Green,...). I had a lot of images in various folders marked with these labels.
2. I created a collection for each label (Red Collection containing only images with the red label, Green collection,...)
3. I changed the label names (Red = To be fixed, Gree = Ready to print,...)
4. I selected each collection and applied the corresponding new label. No problem.
5. Once all marked images had the label with the correct (new) name, I deleted the temporary collections which were now useless.
6. After I did this, all marked images were assigned the same label (Custom = White). All previous label attributes were lost.
It seems that labels are valid only within a collection and that the same image can have different attributes depending on whether you look at it through a collection or directly in a folder. So the whole approach doesn't work.
