Changing bullet point size in Keynote '09

HELP! I have a major presentation in a couple hours and I am about to toss KEYNOTE out the window.
I am typing slides and when I indent a bullet point to show a subtopic I can not figure out how to get the next line to start the next point....it just keeps adding points in the indented area.....
Powerpoint has a simple icon to increase or decrease the List Level
Where is this in Keynote -
Please help!

Inspector>Text Tab>Bullets
You can also use Tab to increase the level and shift tab to decrease it.

Script to duplicate Basic Paragraph style, then change character point size

I'm looking to create a script that will create a cascade of paragraph styles based on the [Basic Paragraph] style settings. My goal is for each new paragraph style's character point size to be a percentage of the original [Basic Paragraph]'s. So if [Basic Paragraph] is 100% (character point size 10pt), the script would create a paragraph style named '120%' that has a character point size of 12pt. Then 133%, 140%, so on and on. I modified a script found on this forum to generate those new styles, but I don't know how to create them to be basedOn the [Basic Paragraph]. Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance.

How to change the point size in a plot.

I want to set the point size in an XY plot to be proportional to the amplitude. So, when the amplitude is small, the point on the plot should be small and when the amplitude is large, the point on the plot should be large

The other post points out that the point size applies to all points in a
plot, and it has only a few possible sizes.
The better solution is probably to look at the picture example for XY
graphs. You can then open up the diagram and look at the source code
for it. You will find a loop that draws for each point. You might also
want to look at the scatter plot example.

.pdf changes the point size of type

By state law, we have to produce legal documents in 13-point type. When we convert a 13-point WordPerfect document into .pdf, the point size ends up reduced to about 12-point. What do we do? I can't find any way to tell Adobe to make the point size 13 point.

Keynote '09, bullet point font problems

I am new to Mac, I have Keynote '09. When I save my presentation (in .ppt) I reopen the document and ALL my bullet points have changed font sizes! Every slide is different! Keynote won't keep the bullet points the same AFTER I save it and reopen the slideshow. Even if I go one-by-one with Inspector and change each bullet point to the size I want.
VERY frustrating. When I "save" it, I expect Keynote to "save" what I have done....I have looked for any odd "auto change" styling for fonts, but don't see it.
Anyone have any recommendations?

What font are you using in the original Keynote?
You should verify the Powerpoint file you exported is correct by opening in Powerpoint, Open Office or use the free online file viewer here: http://www.docs.com/
If it is different, you change the font to one that PowerPoint can use.

How do I change the pointer and workspace size in InDesign?

I installed the new 2014 version of InDesign and now my workspace and pointer are huge but the document is normal size. See pics that show difference from previous version to new. It is kind of hard to see the difference in these pics, but there is a huge difference and very annoying because the workspace is taking up so much of my screen and giving me less area to work in...

Why does text in Smallest File Size PDF change point size and vertical scaling?

If you have a document with 6 pt. type (no scaling) and Save As a Screen-Quality PDF, when you open that resulting PDF in Illustrator, the 6 pt. type has become 5.1 pt. type with vertical scaling of 117.65%! Normally, I would have no reason to open the PDF in Illustrator, but our clients are doing it. They want the smallest possible PDFs but still want to be able to check the point sizes for legal reasons. If you Save As a High Quality Print PDF, the type is fine, but that won't always work if there are alot of images and the file size needs to be kept as small as possible.

Why will the Inspector *not* let me change the slide size from 4000x3000 pixels to 6000x3000 pixels? (I'm making a poster)

Creating printed end products is not what Keynote does, there is also a size limit for pixel dimensions again because its a screen based presentation application not a print layout application.
Instead use Pages, Word, Indesign, Open Office (or Bean , which is freeware).

Reverse Entry of Bullet Points

Hi,
Bit of context.... Every week I host a pub quiz which has two projected elements onto screens in the bar. One is a ten-question round of pictures, the other is a leader-board where the positions of the teams get ranked.
Up to now everything has been done in Powerpoint, but because Keynote effects are that much prettier (I mean... wow!) I've decided to switch over.
Trouble is, for the leader-board I can't find a way to display the placings of the teams in reverse order - i.e. start with the team (or teams) in last place showing at the bottom of the slide and then bring in the next team (or teams) in third, second, etc above them.
It's the one thing I've found so far that's a doddle to do in Powerpoint but I can't see a way of doing it in Keynote.
My only thought is to do separate and multiple text boxes with their own builds, but that's a bit more fiddly than I'd like. (For one thing I don't know how many I'd need before the start of marking, whereas bullets auto-number.)
So... for my first post here I thought I'd ask if anyone had any brilliant ideas? Or am I cursed to use Keynote and Powerpoint at the same time?

I wouldn't use Powerpoint again... that way lies madness.
I don't think there's a way to do exactly what you're asking. I just fiddled around with the builds myself and couldn't get a numbered list to reverse-build. But there are a couple of things you could consider doing. Firstly, have you thought about making your list with the last-place team at the top of the slide and building down? I'm sure you've thought of it, but it seems a minor design change to me.
The second, more complicated thing you could do is that you could set each bullet point as its own separate text box, and then you could build them in in any order you'd like. This will require a bit of setup the first time, but I'm sure you're just using the same template and typing over the information anyway. I'd make Arrange > Align Objects my best friend if I did that.

Can I have an image "hidden" under each bullet point?

Is there a way to do a standard highlighted bullet point build-in such as:

but when I play the presentation, after each of the bullet point is highlighted, the next slide is a photo of the item in question. In other words, the slides would play as such:

etc...
Right now I am duplicating the main text slide multiple time and adding a new bullet each time manually but I was wondering if there is a more efficient way to do that. Just like when using the Highlighted bullet Build-In feature but with a photo in between each bullet.

Thats allready covered in the first post, but I made a complete set using 8 bullet points for 8 full screen pictures. The first bullet point and picture are shown with the build details.
