Changing calendar language

Hi there,
I want to check the pickup calendar language, but for my change nothing happens.
I know the file that is creating the calendar frameset is in:
SWEApp/Public/ptg (for portuguese)
i have check the page:

but since i have the calendar in Portuguese, the page is in English, that means that is not here.
Is there other way the this to change the calendar?

Not sure what you mean, but check if Doc ID 495232.1 on support.oracle.com is helpful. If not provide further details your problem and requirements.

At this time the calendar is set for Sunday to Saturday. I would recommend submitting a enhancement request to On Demand customer care.

I saw a few threads on this issue, but none that actually answered my question. To make a long story short, I want to create a Calendar for a French speaking friend. I switched my system language to French, so Lion and iPhoto '11 are running in French. But when I try to create a calendar, the months are all in English. I tried this on my MacBook running Lion and on my iMac running Snow Leopard, with identical results: the interface of the OS and iPhoto '11 is in French but the months are in English. Any idea what I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

You're right. I had done only part of the setting changes that were required. On tob of changing the language of the OS, I also had to chose "Language & Text" and then select the correct Region in the next window. I hope this will also help others. Thanks!

How to change the language on the calendar

I have just bought an iphone 3gs which is brand new but i bought it off amazon. i am in the uk but the phone has come from the US. The phone is 100% fine except that i cannot change the language for the calendar. i have gone into settings and changed the regional format to english however it is still stuck on german or something similar. it isnt a massive issue but it's really annoying and when i receive a text message the message date and time is also in another language.
does anyone know why this is? i have tried re-setting the settings and it hasnt worked.

If you have tried changing the settings to the language you desire, you need to do a hard resget to the language you require

In the month view in the Calendar app on my iPod Touch the week starts on Monday. I want to change it to start on Sunday. iCal on my computer and the calendar on my Mobile Me account are both set to start on Sunday. How do I change this on my iPod Touch?

You're right; I just tried that. Unfortunately, changing the region format also changes the language, phone number format and time format. Oh well. I do wish Calendar could pick up the preference from iCal, though, that allows for this. :S

You must change that from Winndows! In Control Panel, click Regional and Language Options, and in tab Regional options change to country you want.
I don't know another method, or one similar for Linux.

Cannot change icloud language

When I set up my wifes ipad (new ipad) it was defaulting to spanish, we changed the settings on the ipad to English but icloud calendars etc are still in spanish. We have tried to change the language within icloud but it does not seem to work.

You also have to change the region settings:
Settings > General > International > Region Format
This should fix the problem!

I am currently trying to create a calendar in French. I changed my language settings to French which gves me menus in French etc. but when it comes to creating my calendar, both months and days of the week appear in English??? But it does somehow my English security answers do not work on a Japanese Question especialy if I did not choose that question I set up the multiple choice In English and wrote the answers in English or Roman and set them langauge preferences in English, do you really think you can correctly write english name or word in Japanese they write a police patrol car pato caa パトカア　they do not have r and l .So it is my choice to make my security easy for me and as difficult for others to hack.But they also have patororoo choo meaning ' now patrolling ' so why they have pato caa patrol car and patoro patrol and have thousands of Chinese words kanji they can find patrol.
I am getting off the topic but I am at a loss to fix this problem when they hold the keys and i have all the info to verify my ID.

How can i disable Illustrator from changing my language / keyboard layout.

I have an azerty laptop and a qwerty external keyboard. Switching from any application to illustrator changes the language and therefore also my keyboard layout. No other application does this.

But i have a laptop with azerty layout (Belgian) and an external qwerty keyboard (Brittish).
So i need both languages selected in the System Pref >> Keyboard >> Input source
When "Brittish" is selected and i switch from Apple Mail to Photoshop to Skype to Chrome to ... it all works fine.
Only when i switch to Illustrator it also changes my language/layout from "Brittish" to "Belgian" and stays like that. I need to manually change it back in the menu in Finder.
I like the brittish better (with a qwerty keyboard) because of the shortcuts (eg. sqare brackets -> shortcuts for order in Illustrator are not even on an azerty (Belgian) keyboard).
Any idea?

How to change sap-language parameter at runtime

I want to create a Change Language button on an webdynpro Application. I know that the parameter is determined during url creation, but i need the to give the user the posibility of changing the language without closing the browser and logging out etc.
My idea is to us an Outbound plug assigned to lets say a Button. The plug is connected to an Inbound plug og the very same Window. So actually the Application will reload.
The action on the button is like this
data: l_language type sy-langu.
l_language = cl_wd_runtime_services=>get_url_parameter( name = 'sap-language' ).
wd_this->fire_language_plg( ).
Then i read the current language - i.ex: E
But of course i will need to change the parameter sap-language to the new language - lets say: K

As far I know, there is no way to get the current url in browser. Alternately, you can get the url parameters and then construct the url with the parameters.
write the below code in HANDLEDEFAULT method of Window:
