Changing Callout Tool Shape

Hi. Wondering if there is any way to change the shape of a Callout from a square/rectangle to something else (I'm specifically hoping for a circle or triangle).
We are currently using Acrobat Pro 9 (including myself), some stations are upgraded to X.

Forms 6, has got cursor styles which are HAND, MOVE not documented in help.

Acrobat 9 Pro Callout Tool Font Problem

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9. I'm trying to change the font and center the text in a callout tool box. I've tried everything and can't get the font properties to appear. When I select the properties all I can change are properties related to the box itself, not the text. When I highlight the text in the box, all the properties are greyed out. Any help would be much appreciated!

Distiller ICC profile files at:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=4075&fileID= 3790
Unzip the file and copy only the *.icc files (without regard to the subfolders that they are in - in other words, take the files out of each of the subfolders) to the followng folder in Windows 7:
c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\color
These new files will probably overwrite some old ones.
This solved the problem for me.
This is actually the best solution though I found that instead of copying all the .icc files to the windows\sys... folder, all you need to do is copy the 3 Video files from the RGB folder (VideoHD.icc, VideoNTSC.icc, and VideoPAL.icc). Once you add these three files to c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\color you will be good to go.
It seems that this was an error on the part of Adobe in that there is no reason to include Video files for printing. Nevertheless, the distiller will look for these and return the ICC profile error message if those files are not present.

Hand ICON will not change to tool ICONS

When starting a new file, the Hand ICON will not change to tool ICONS. When I walk away for an hour it seems to start working properly.

Callout tool using the adobe ipad app?

I mark up architectural drawings using Adobe Reader and use the callout tool a lot. But it appears this callout tool is not on the ipad app? Perhaps I am not seeing it. Does anyone know if there is the callout tool on the app? I understand that I could use the arrow tool and use and text box. But it is not very useful when I have to do a two-step process when there is a one-step tool available typically. I am always looking for more efficient ways of doing things. Your help would be greatly appreciated. -- Tina

what a long post....Apple, btw, does not read this stuff, so ranting, raving, and complaining here might make you feel good, but it does no good at all. That being said, I, too have a Mac Pro Quad Core Xeon with 6 gigs of ram and an nVidia 8800 GT graphics card (not as good as yours, alas) and I've had no problems at all with it. Yes, it doesn't have Thunderbolt, but maybe we Mac pro owners will get lucky and someone will come out with an adapter (probably not). No, you probably don't have to throw away your Mac Pro, but if you do, I'll take it, for a small "recycling" fee >:-) That was a joke. Yes, the Mac Pro's future isn't quite clear, YET. Hopefully that will improve very soon. As for not being able to upgrade to Mountain Lion. Don't worry about that too much, Nobody is forcing you to do that. Your Mac Pro won't quit working if it isn't installed. From what I've heard, you should give the new OS a chance, and wait to get it, in case there might be some bugs, or stuff not working with the new OS, which has been known to happen. Yes, we Mac Pro owners don't like being treated like mushrooms-kept in the dark, and being fed......... but Apple is Apple and it will do what it does, and there is nothing you or me can really do to change that. The easiest thing to do would be to create a triangular icon and put it on your button, then make the background of the button the same color as the background of the rest of your page. You may also need to remove the border by doing
setMargin(new Insets(0, 0, 0, 0));

Direct Selection Tool - Shape Layers in Photoshop CC Issue

I just upgraded to CC and the first major road block is the new way the direct selection tool works. In my CS6 work flow I would use the direct selection tool to jump between shape layers within the document layer. Then once the correct shape was selected I would click drag select the anchor points I want to adjust. This seems to be impossible now in CC. You can still jump between shape layers but you have to be in "All-Layers" which really hurts when I want to click drag to select specific anchor points because it selects all shapes below it. And with Active-layer selected you can't jump between shape layers with the tool but you can click drag select anchors with out selecting and shapes below the layer. The basically cut functionality right down the middle…

As you can see in CS6 I could fly between layers and adjust everything with out ever changing to another tool or jumping to the layers window… I can no longer do that in CC with out having the dumb issue of also selecting the layers below it, which I don't find useful 99% of the time. Is there a setting to make this work like it did in CS4-CS6???? In my line of work, we work a lot with shape layers and this is causing more time to my work day.

1000x this. My designs are 100% vector shapes, so if Adobe have changed this core behavior intentionally, they’ve just made my life a lot more difficult.
We should be able to use the Direct Selection Tool to select a shape layer (similar to how the Move Tool has done) by clicking on any visible pixel. But then we should be able to freely drag-select points on that shape (starting from any neutral area) without selecting other shape layers. This is how it’s worked since before I can remember.
Here’s why the two new selection modes don’t work:
Active Layers - I can no longer freely select any visible shape. Instead I’m forced to make a time-consuming roundabout to the layer palette, where I have to squint to find my shape layer, and activate it manually before continuing. (Hitting “V” to select a layer, then “A” to get back to the D.S. Tool is nearly as cumbersome. Plus, I leave off the Move Tool's auto-select mode.)
All Layers - Treats all my shapes as if they’re on one layer. Overlapping shapes are therefore impossible to work with -- mainly drag-selecting and deselecting points -- in situ.
We either need a “legacy” setting, or some way to constrain selection on drag, via a key modifier or something. This “all or nothing" thing doesn’t work for me... and apparently for others. Why would they change such a thing?
Or maybe there’s something I’m missing. Please let that be the case!

Cursor changes to X shape at certain sizes

I currently am running Photoshop CS6 on Windows 7. When I am using the Brush or Pencil tools, sometimes the Cursor will change to a curved X shape. This appears to happen at certain sizes (between 65px to250px) and then goes back to the normal circle shape when larger or smaller. The brush itself paints normally but there are times where I need to know exactly what areas it is going to color. I am using the default brushes, no custom ones.

i changed the start up page in tools / options and when i restart Firefox it returns to the unwanted page
i installed bit comet and winxdvd programs i was browsing some other sites at the time so i am not sure if those programs were the problem or not

Can Reflow change display tools based on changing screen sizes?

I have a lenghty check list in a desktop-sized view, but want to change to a selection wheel type of display tool for a phone-sized screen. Is there a way to make the display tool change, yet keep the same content simply by reducing down to the smaller screen size?

One way of having different content at different screen sizes is to have both elements on your page, and change the display of each of them to either "Block" or "None" depending on whether or not you want it to be displayed for that media query region.
And no, we don't have a selection wheel element in Reflow. Your best bet there is probably to use a box to represent it in Reflow, and then replace it with the desired element using Dreamweaver, Brackets, or whatever other tool you use next in your workflow.

how can i change the shape of a cursor to "hand" when the mouse rolls over specific text item. i have tried the cursor_style property but it returns only some of the cursor styles plus the are just behind the mouse clik trigeers so it chnges the shape when the mouse is cliked while i want it to change when mouse just rolls over the specific text item.as done in hyperlinks .

Best way to change colour of shapes

Hi, i am using the code below:

In another class i call the static variable and change it according to wat the user has selected.
My problem is that when i change the colour, the colour for all my shapes change. For example if i create a shape with the colour green and then create another shape with colour blue, both will be blue.
