Changing Camera Owner Name In EOS 5D

I need to change the owner name in my faithful EOS 5D. As I understand it, this can only be done with the Canon EOS Utility. (Changing the camera owner name allows me to add the author name, also, in the event an image is processed without adding all of the valuable metadata.)
I'm currently using EOS Utility version 2.13.10. I CAN see my EOS 5D MKII camera with no problem, and I can edit the camera owner information.
Unfortunately, I can't see my 5D in the EOS Utility. I'm using a Mac Book Pro, running OS 10.6.8.
I can, however, shoot tethered in Capture One, but not Adobe Lightroom. We're all aware of the many combinations of cameras and software applications and their compatibilities - I've been chasing this for years.
So...does EOS Utility version 2.13.10 NOT work with a Canon EOS 5D? Do I have to revert to an earlier version to make this work?

Sign out from Find My Phone in iCloud, and sign out from your Apple ID in Settings/iTunes & App Store
Then setup as a new phone with iTunes and when your Daughter sets it up for the first time she can add or set up her own Apple ID.

How can I change my user name? (Not the one given in the Users prefs pane, not the login name, but the one that appears in a network: "John Doe's computer". The owner's name.

When I open the Sharing settings., there is "Computer's name", and I can edit the "local host name" and change it. But there is no setting to be found where I can see the wrong name that I'd like to change, nor can I change it. It just isn't there.
It's not in the Login screen, it's not in the user settings, it's just in the Finder network window on my other computer: There is "iMac" (=computer's name), and when I connect, there ist e.g. "John" instead of "Jim". And "John" is nowhere to be found in any Sharing settings or elsewhere. It's in the sharing and permissions area in the Finder's get info windows among other users and groups. And it's in /users/John. When I try to change it there, I get an alert that I can't: "John" cannot be changed or deleted because it is needed by Mac OS X."

The "Computer Name" is changed in Sharing preferences. The user's "Long Name" may be changed in Accounts preferences along with the account password. But changing the "Short Name" which is the username attached to the Home folder (/Users/username/) must be changed by following the instructions in this article: Macworld | Changing the short username in Leopard.
The name displayed in the Finder's menu bar only appears if you have turned on Fast User Switching. You can disable this feature in the Accounts preferences - click on lock icon and authenticate, then click on the Login Options button. Uncheck the Fast User Switching option.

I bought my iMac Pro on ebay and would like to change the owner name to my own.

I bought my iMac Pro on ebay so did not get the chance to go through the Set up from the very beginning. I've noticed 2 consequences; one is that the name of the user is not my own. The second is that when I go to facebook her name and password are in the log in boxes.
How can I change it to my own name?
I am not sure what operating system I have or where it says this.

By far the best thing to do is to do rannable's last suggestion and get rid of the previous user's account. Something they should have done instead of leaving personal information and passwords where you can easily get at them.
Open the System Preferences and click on the Accounts icon. Click the lock at the lower left. You will need to know admin password of the previous owner. Click the + button to create a new Administrator account. Fill in whatever name you want the account to have and choose a password. Click Create Account.
Log out and log back in to your new account. Go into the System Preferences again and the Accounts section. Click the lock button again, only this time, you would use the password for the new account you just created since that's what you logged into OS X with.
Highlight the old account and click the - button to delete it. Click the last radio button, "Delete the home folder" to completely remove the old account from the hard drive. Your new admin account will be the only one left.
Your new account will make the Mac look and behave like it just came out of the box since all of the desktop preferences will be the defaults. Customize to your liking.

Your question must have been provoked by having been asked (or shown) the previous user's information somewhere.
One place to make the change would be at Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID.
But there may be other places as well. It depends on how much effort you and the previous owner have already expeneded to make this iPad "your own."
For example, do you use iCloud? If so, is your Apple ID correctly shown at Settings > iCloud? How about iMessage? Is your Apple ID correct there (at Settings > Messages)? How about Game Center?

Changing the name is quite simple.
Connect your iPod to your mac and then open itunes ( if using windows download itunes)
Once the ipod is detected in itunes simply double click the ipod's name and change it to whatever you want.

How do I change the owners name on my computer?

I purchased this computer in 2010 and later sold it. The person stopped making payments and I had to take it back. Now I need to remove the name/ information and replace it with my name/information. Can it be done and how do I do this? The other name does not show in the user accounts but every time I save something the name pops up and it drives me crazy. I know, its a "old computer" ... Thanks

There has to be a designated User account. What program is an example of the problem during a "save".
Options:
Simply do a complete Recovery and turn the system back to new out of the box.
Create a new user (you). The delete the previous user account.
