Changing child's info for their Apple ID
So in my family we have a total of 8 Apple devices (we each have a phone and an iPad). When I first bought my children their IPad mini's I didn't want to have to use my Apple ID and have everything link together on all our devices so I created them each an ID.Currently they each have an iPhone 5 and an iPad mini. Now with the new IOS8 update with the family sharing we can do the photo sharing and the purchase sharing and I have all that set up now. When I read the info on the new family sharing it says your children can request to make purchases in the store and you can approve it. Now that the family sharing is set up and I go on my devices and look at everyone it has the children listed as an adult. This leads me to believe that when we set them up we lied about their age for some reason or another. What I need to know is if there is a way to go back and change the age that is listed in their Apple ID so this new function will work correctly.
Go to appleid.apple.com to manage their IDs, sign in and select to the Name, ID and Email Addresses section, then change the birth date on the bottom right. At the present time you may not be able to enter the correct birth date, but you should be able to change it to 1/1/2001, both of which will have child ID status.

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) menu option and logging into it. If you are doing it on your iPhone then you could try tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and selecting 'View Apple ID' on the popup, and try changing it from there

Someone is using my personal email address for their apple ID and I'm sick of it! I can't sign up for my own itunes account or anything using MY OWN email address. My email address is my property, not theirs.
I'm using their account and will continue to reset their password and settings until they either get the message or Apple do something about it and disable or migrate their account so that I can use MY OWN email address for my own purposes.
I don't want to be informed about Apple products and services for someone else on my email account.
I want to be able to use it MYSELF for iTunes
All I am asking you to do is migrate their apple ID to their alternate email account settings and free up my email address so that:
A. I can use it and B. I stop getting messages about their account history.
Either that or just cancel their account as they have no right to use my personal details.
Yes I could set up a new email address but WHY THE **** should I? I've been using this email account for years for personal stuff, it's not mu fault if someone can sign it up as an AppleID without me being able to confirm their sign up process!

When I try to update apps on my iPad, it asks me for my mothers password and displays her apple ID. How do I change it to ask for my apple id and password??? I am signed into the store and iCloud with my apple id. I am not signed into ITunes, the store on the ipad, or icloud under her name. WIERD???
There is no featured tab in my iTunes store. . . and everywhere it shows me signed in. I had downloaded an app for my mother on HER ipad, and that is the only app I have done for her. It shows up on my phone, and now I cannot update any of my apps. I uninstalled that app on my phone, but when I want to update ones I have installed on my phone with my appleid, she keeps showing up.

I changed my email address for my apple id but icloud still has old email adress and when I try to signout so I can sign in with new address it asks for password and then says invalid so I cannot delete the account to sign in with the new one! Please help
OK...now I appear to 'progressed' I changed my email address back to original on Apple id and then was able to delete icloud account. Apparently I couldnt do it as it kept requesting password when I entered passsword ( both old and new one, it wouldnt accept it as it had my old email address in ) It didnt do that on ios6 . Anyway I deleted account, but now I tried to login in with my new id/password and it says unable as already in use!!! More help needed please! Its a nightmare!!

I recently changed my email address for the Apple Id and it was accepted but now when the App store comes up it still shows my old email address and no password will work. iCloud and Facetime are fine. Don't know why it stays there or how to alter it.

I am trying to change my email address for an Apple ID and it is saying that it is already in use. I then sign in with that Apple ID and it says that the account is not set up yet, I don't want to set up the account, but I do want to use the email address in my original Apple ID! HELP!

Once you have created a rescue address, you cannot delete it, nor can you change it to the same address as used by your ID. There are numerous providers you can get additional email addresses from, such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Google etc etc. -
I changed my email address for my Apple ID. When I want to use iCloud my iPhone doesn't seem to recognize my new email it keeps asking for my password for my old email. I can't update the new address it keeps defaulting to my old one.

First I would like you to try the instructions below to sign out of your iCloud account, and then sign in with your new Apple ID.
iOS 6 and later: Go to Settings > iCloud.
If you signed out before changing your Apple ID, enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download to your device.
If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account. Depending on what iCloud options are turned on, you'll be asked to confirm that you want to delete data from your device. To confirm, tap Delete. (If you're using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, you'll be asked to enter the password for your previous Apple ID. Enter the password, then tap Turn Off.) The data will be deleted from your device, but not from iCloud.
Enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download again to your device.

Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Go to Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap “Keep on My [Device]” or “Delete from My [Device].” In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

I use Pro Logic 9.1.8. and see that to upgrade to Pro Logic X I need to buy the full package again. Does apple offer special conditions for their Apple clients ? Are users of apple care protection plan better served ?

I choose to use LP9 with Snow Leopard myself (10.6.8 and 9.1.6) for most of my commercial work simply because I find that combo very stable and provides the best overall performance for my setups here... but I am also using LPX with Mavericks as part of my client support and that works fine too although with a drop in performance due to the heavier demands made on the hardware by the newer OS X and LPX graphic routines for example.. -
I am trying to change my primary email for my apple id - when I change it the error reads, this is your rescue email. How do I change my rescue email so that I can then change my primary id ?
You will have to delete your rescue email address first, then go back and change your primary.

You can edit or delete your rescue email address at My Apple ID. To edit your rescue email address:
Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so. -

You will have to sign out of iCloud, then sign in with the new Apple ID. Same with iTunes and the App Store.

Question.Why don't the apple company ever make a memory card that people could use for their apple product just in case customers run out of memory on their apple product?
One thing the iPad lacks is a file manager. There is no file explorer native on the iPad. If you started adding plugin cards, then you add the need for that. And, in PC's, most viruses spread via the file explorer (the definition of a virus is a malicious program that propagates itself across multiple programs)
There are a few drives out there for iDevices. Such as the WiDrive and others. -

You should have done it the other way arround. You should have started with signing out, before you changed your email. I would suggest to follow these steps...
1. change your email address back to the old one
2. delete your iCloud account from all your devices (especially turn off "Find My iPhone")
3. change your email to your new email address aigain
4. add your iCloud account again -
