Changing Color of Dock Background

I recently updated to OSX 10.9.5 on my iMac. Is there any way to change the background color of the dock? Thanks.

There's an open source app, cDock, that can make changes to the dock. I have mine totally transparent. These are the themes you can use with it:
It also adds the colored icons to the Finder's sidebar. I've had no problems with it with Yosemite.

Can someone help show me on how to change the color of the inbox on Droid 2? My corporate sync company email shows up with white text over black background and it is driving me crazy. I'd like it to appear like my Gmail account does (black text over white bkrd). Is this possible? I've looked everywhere and can't find an answer! Thank you.

As far as I know this isn't possible. Motorola has made this choice for us using the built in email client. You might try something like touchdown from the market and see if you can customize it there.

Is there a way change color of dock

One MBpro has a nice gray. The other has a banana yellow that I would like to change. Is the OS basing color on the desktop picture?

You can change the color of the dock to a dark theme by going to System preferences > General.
Otherwise, you can go to System Preferences > Accessibility > Display and change the settings there.
The dock, when transparency is on (by default), will simply take the colours of whatever is running under the dock and kind of "frost" it. You don't really get to choose colours for your dock.

Transparent PSD image in Illustrator changes color of vector background after print.

Hello, I really don't know how to explain this so I'll just upload my files which are located here: http://rapidshare.com/files/4040672260/Green%20circle.rar
I have a green vector background in illustrator and then I placed psd image over it and created PDF for press and under Color bitmap images I selected no compression.
After viewing image in Acrobat all seems ok, I even checked with picker, but after I send this to printer (xerox in thsi case) I end up with this: .
Both .psd and .ai are in CMYK color space. For this particular case I could use mask to cover up that transparent space but my original project has shadows which I cannot mask by vector :S.
Can someone plz explain to me what I am doing whrong or how to set color profiles or whatever is neccessary to avoid this issue. One thing I was using was, opening PDF in Photoshop and flatening all. Problem is that sometimes I need vector files and cut lines for cutter. Don't want to have bitmap, if I can have a vector? Also when I flaten image I do get same CMYK values in photoshop (with picker) than I have in Illustrator on vector object, but when I print this they don't match at all.
Does someone know a solution?

Nothing worng with your .ai or .psd file, prints fine here. Problem is with your tranparency flattening.
Most likely you can fix that by print >> Advanced >> Custom >.> Move slider all the way towards rasters.
If you need more help, let us knwo your printere, and screenshtos of your print settings can help.

Change color of column background when entire column meets a condition

I'm trying to create a report that visually indicates staffing coverage during certain hours. The report has the hours of the day as column headers, and for each person-row, a column can contain a 0 if that person is not scheduled for that hour, a 1 if one person is scheduled for that hour, or 2 if 2 people are scheduled for that hour, etc.
What I need is to show gaps in coverage, so I need to color red those columns where there are 0's for all rows in that particular column.

Couldn't you do this in the report SQL itself The problem I see with this is that based on what she's asking (i.e. all rows in that column must be zero), you will not know if a column should be marked in red until after all of the rows have been retrieved and displayed. To do what you suggest, you'd have to run the report once to find columns that sum to zero, i.e.: 
SELECT SUM(col1), sum(col2)... 
INTO v_sum_col1, v_sum_col2... 
Then for any column with a sum of zero -- add in the code you suggest into the second SELECT to return the data, possibly with a DECODE twist:
DECODE(v_sum_col1, 0, '0', col1)

Flash CS4 - Can I change the colors of the background or text that shows up in the Layers section?

I am stuggling here! I am colorblind. I need to change either the color of the background or the color of the text on the layers section on the Timeline. I simply cannot read/see what is currently showing. It is a very light blue background with white text and white dots for seeing, locking, or setting the outline color. I need to either change the text color and dots to black so I can see them, or try to change the background color to a dark blue so I can read the white text. Changing the text color would really be my preference. How do I do this? Please help. Adobe hasn't been very concerned about colorblindness when developing these products. I can barely make out all the light grey/grey/dark grey/grey stuff. Now this!

For Windows you can adjust your Theme (or download a new one and use that). This will alter the color of each layer, for example if you use Classic then it will use a very dark blue for layers that will provide higher contrast. I've downloaded other custom themes in the past that use a very dark grey for example.
(By the way, for Mac users go to Appearance in System Prefs and choose a different Highlight color - you can choose a default or custom one. That color is used for the layer color).

It doesn't happen all the time but sometimes and i tried zapping the PRAM and it still happens!

Hi Matt,
For short columns, the easiest method is to select the cell containing the formula, then grab the fill handle (small circle at the botom right of the selected cell) and drag down.
For long columns, use either Jerry's suggestion (copy/paste) or Insert > Fill > Fill Down.
Copy/Paste:
Select the cell containing the formula. Copy
Select from the cell containing teh formula to the end of the column. Paste.
Fill Down:
After entering the formula, and pressing enter...
Click on the column reference tab to select the whole column.
Command click on each cell above the one containing the formula to remove it from the selection.
When cell with the formula is the top cell in the selection, go Insert > Fill > Fill Down.
Pick whichever is easiest.

I am trying to change the background color of a selected cell by clicking on that particular cell. DefaultTableCellRenderer class provides setBackground(Color c) to change the background color of unselected cells. Is there a way to change a selected cell background color?

Write your own renderer (eg. extending DefaultTableRenderer) and put in getTableCellRendererComponent method something like this:
if( isSelected && hasFocus )
setBackground( Color.RED );
setForeground( Color.GREEN );
}

LOL - I had the same problem. Hidden in plain sight! All I saw was Numeric, and thought "Duh! Of course it's numeric - it's a slider!"
I do think NI could do a much better job on this, perhaps with more informative labelling. Slider Scaling or Scale Format might be better. Also, since one can select the Digital Display by itself on the front panel, one should be taken directly to the digital display formatting when Properties is selected, instead of still having to change the dropdown. By selecting the digital display instaead of the slider, you're implying that you want to change its format only.
