Changing country of app store?

I'm setting up an IPad 2 for my Dad.
Somehow he originally set it up for Tanzania instead of the U.S.
Everything says U.S. now in region codes, user id, etc.
The problem I'm having is that when I try to download certain
Apps, I get an error message saying that the Apple ID is
Only good in the US!?!
Is there some setting I'm overlooking? I've tried logging out of the AppStore, and logging back in
And rebooting the iPad, but no luck

Go to the featured tab of the app store. In the bottom left corner you can access his ID. Tap on the ID and then tap View Apple ID. Enter his password. Then go to Country/Region and make sure that it is set for the US.
You can also do this in Settings>Store>Apple ID.

Contact iTunes Support in the country's store where you have the credit and request that your account be zero balanced. Then you should be able to change the country of your account.

Can't change country in app store due to Family Sharing error

I want to change App store country on my iPhone 5S, iPad Air and iPhone 5 as I have relocated to a Sri Lanka from India. But it is showing error that I cannot change country because my Family sharing is on. I have turned off Family sharing in all of my devices and the main device, but still it continue to show error that Family sharing is on and I cannot change the app store country. I am geographically in the same country, which I want to update in my app store !
Please help.

With the apps i already have installed I can get the updates for the free ones but i cant update the ones I paid for. And now I can't even dload any new apps at all, neither free or purchase... ***.. Tried calling apple support but it just keeps ringing.. I can't wait on the phone all day!!

Changing country for App store use

I won my ipad while living in Malaysia. I now live back in the UK. I have spent hours trying to change to the UK app store with no success. For example, I want the Google Earth app which is not available in the MY store, but when trying to get it in the UK store I am told that my apple id is only valid for purchases in the MY store. I have always used a uk debit card and have changed my MY address to my UK address but the drop down box where you select 'county' still only allows for MY states. I change the little flag at the bottom of the page but it just switches back. I have tried switching on and off after signing out of the store. I am defeated at every turn.
I need very simple, fool proof instructions. Can anyone help please?

To switch your country to Germany, you would also need to qualify with residency in Germany. You would need a credit card issued by a German bank with a verifiable German billing address. Or to redeem iTunes Gift cards from Germany.
Otherwise as stated, you can only use the store for China.

Can not change country in App Store

I switched to the other country in the app store before,
but I can't switch back to my country now.

Easiest way, MUST use USB wire to connect to computer's iTune.
(1) Connect your iphone/ipad to computer
(2) Make sure you sign in to iTune and first authorize the computer you are using [ie. Authorize This Computer].
(3) Click Store > View My AppID > Change Country or Origin
(4) Select the country you want, follow through all the instructions
This way should allow you successfully change the country default on your iphone/ipad account.
I don't know why it only works this way, but if connecting to computer's iTune will help you reduece frustrations, take some time to do it, it will save you hassles.

Click here and ask the iTunes Store staff to zero your account balance. Note that if you're not in China, you won't be able to use the Chinese App Store.

You must have a separate Apple ID registered in the other store along with a valid bank-issued charge card in the other country, and a legal billing address in the other country.
Sorry... But... You cannot use other countries itunes stores.
You must be within the Country with a Valid Billing Address and Credit Card for that Country to use the iTunes Store of that Country..

Go to Settings>iTunes & App Stores, click on your AppleID, click on View AppleID, click on Country/Region, click on Change Country or Region, click on Store, select your Country, click on Done.

I already have this mess. No you will not. Unless you change back to the country that you bought the app from. Oh, but then you run into the problem that you need a valid address and payment method from that country.
So no, if you move to another country, Apple will steal all your apps.
