Changing default due date

Hi,
I am pretty new in CRM, so this might sound a rather basic question.
We would like to change the default due date of a transaction type SLFN (SRV_CUST_END) from "Start + 3 days" into a constant ('31/12/9999").
Can anyone tell me what transactions (customizing, ...) or functions I have to use to obtain this?
Thanks a lot.
Kris

Hi,
First, for the message type you use, find the date profile , if you use SLFN it is probably SLFN_HEADER.
You then need to tweak your date profile.
To do so go to customizing -> SAP solution manager / scenario specific setting / service desk / service desk / date profile / define date profile.
find your profile (from above)  and click 'date rules' on the left.
add a new entry (new date rule) - the entry to add is UBB0015 - unlimited.
then double click date type (on the left). Select the date type SRV_CUST_END and click the detail (loop) icon.
About a third into the screen, change the date rule from SRV0002 (start + 3 days) to UBb0015.
create a new message, the customer end date will now be 31.12.9999.
Hope it helps.

  • Reporting on SR Owner Change, Activity Due Date Change

We have few Report Requirements around Audit Trail. We are looking for Reports where we could Track Service Request Owner change, SR Status Change, Activity Due Date Change etc. As we know, In CRMOD Analytics, we cannot report on Audit Trail or use the PRE() function. Can anybody suggest any other ways for reporting on the Changes where we could show each and every change made to these fields and not only the previous values.

Lets Say you want to track status Change in SR. There are two ways of doing it.
    Option 1:
Create a Long text field in SR page.
Name it "Track Status Change". Do not Display the field to the users.
Default the Field to Initial Status+","+Now().
When the Status Changes, you need to append the field with "Current Status"+","+Now()+";"
The Semi Colon is delimiter to show that this is the new status. This delimiter would be used in the report to seperate the status. You can achieve this using the reporting functionalities.
The down side of this is that it can affect the performance of report since lot of Sting functionalities would be used for the tracking.
    Option 2
Whenever the status changes, create a completed task. Populate the Subject of the task with the Status. Put a workflow/field validation so that no one edits the subject when the task is created automatically.
You can run a report on the Task Created Date and Subject to get the Audit Trail.
Let me know if this helps.

  • Changing Bill Due Date?

I'm wondering if it's possible to change the due date of my account. I was assigned the 8th of every month when I originally started my service, and that worked for the most part, however recently my pay schedule has changed and it's only become possible for me to pay my bill later in the month. Since my due date is still the 8th, and I consistently pay on or around the 20th (when I get paid), my account is perpetually late and I would like to avoid this going forward.
Is it possible to change my due date, and if so, does it require any special payments such as a month in advance?
    Thanks!

Yes it should still be possible, I did when I first got on Verizon & I think they just added or prorated the extra days to my next bill, which in your case sounds like 12, it will be a larger bill the following month because it will start around the 20th or whatever you want, but it will stop your account from being delinquent all the time, & it doesn't cost more, it's just your waiting longer to pay your bill as it's being prorated for those days, then it will all even out the month after that. Good luck....

  • Alert for change in due date on sales order

    Hi,
I would like the system to create an alert when ever a user changes the due date on an existing sales order. The alert should only be triggered once when the change takes place.
    Please help
    Kind Regards
    Grant

    Grant,
You could use the Query below
    SELECT DISTINCT T1.DocNum AS 'Document Number', T1.CardCode, T1.CardName, T0.DocDueDate [Old Due Date], T1.DocDueDate [New Due Date] FROM  [dbo].[ADOC] T0  INNER JOIN  [dbo].[ORDR] T1 ON T0.DOCNUM = T1.DOCNUM WHERE T0.ObjType = N'17'   AND  T0.DocNum = 400000
    AND T1.DOCDUEDATE <> T0.DOCDUEDATE
NOTE: The number of times the Alert appear cannot be controlled through a Query, it is a setting in the Alerts windows.

  • Why did they change my due date?!

Since when is it legal to change a due date?
I have my due date for the second week of the month for a reason.
I pay rent the first week...
    I am disabled, what gives?!

Due dates were standardized for every customer. Info is here: https://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB423395&cv=820
If you need to get your due date back to a certain date, you can change your billing cycle to force your due date to fall on a certain date.

Changing due date is obviously billing. I keep calling ATT and have the due date changed to the 6th of the month, and they always change it back.
Obvious shady practices for raking in money for late fees.
Just going to contact FCC from now on every time ATT changes the due date.
Some people get paid once per month, and need their bills due a certain date. If ATT keeps up this practice I will drop my Uverse 450 and just stream what I watch over the internet. I will also drop my phone and use MajacJack which I already own, and works great! I guess ATT does not care about the $150 per month that they will lose, and I will still be using their internet service to watch FREE tv, and virtually free phone. An I wll be posting all over the internet boards about how to do just that.
Good luck w/that, w/o a TV provider, you're pretty much locked out of getting any current content w/o paying for it and it'll add up quickly.

  • Modify default due date and alarm with To dos

Is it possible to modify the default alarm due date when creating a to do? Currently, when creating a to do from an email message, if you click on the arrow, youget a "to do options" pop up. The default is no due date and no alarm. When you choose a due date, the default is a message, one day before, at 11:45 PM. Can I change those default settings globally, so that the default is, say, 8 AM?
Even better would be a plugin or setting like in ical that automatically sets an alarm. Anyone know of such a plug in?

  • Default due date , payment method when posting invoice with Special G/L

    Hi Gurus,
I have a question is when I am posting an invocie to a vendor (FB60), Due On date, payment method  are automatically calculated based on the defaulted baseline date and the payment term in the vendor master. But when I am posting the invocie to the same vendor with Special G/L indicator, Due On date, payment method are not automatically calculated and system are expecting me to enter this date manually. Is there a way we can default this Due On date, payment thod based on payment term like it happens when posting to other invoices without Sp GL indicator ?
    Thanks
Edited by: Ngoc Hoang on Nov 29, 2011 8:30 AM

    Dear Ngog,
In general, special G/L transactions are used to map special processes
to be stated separately in the balance sheet. So if you use special GL
indicator, the fields relevant to payment terms (including baseline
date) are not displayed. This is not controlled by field status.
To make the fields You need ready for input for posting
with special G/L indicator, the following Customizing setting is
    necessary:
Financial Accounting -> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
->Business Transactions -> Outgoing Payments -> Automatic Outgoing
    Payment-> Payment Method/Bank Selection -> Configure payment program ->
All company codes -> double-click on corresponding company code -> under
Vendor -> 'Sp. G/L transactions to be paid' you should enter the special
    G/L indicator A,B, etc.
As explained in SAP note 4683, the only standard possibility to get the
field payment terms on creating a posting with a special G/L indicator
is by setting in the payment program configuration (trans. FBKP) for
'All company codes' for customers/vendors 'Sp. G/L transaction to be
    paid'.

I need to change the date that my wireless bill is due. Can you help?

You need to call customer service and request a change - be aware that it will change your billing cycle and may cause your next bill to be higher than normal if you are making the due date later than it is now.
Customer service is 800-922-0204 or *611 from your cell phone.

  • How to change Net Due Date in case of Credit Memo..

    Hi Experts,
In our system currently when we create credit memo using tcode FB75 system makes the invoive due immediately.
We wanted to make this net due date dependent on payment terms given by us. Please let me know how can I achieve this..
Please let me know if there is any user exit there or the configration path to achieve this...
    Regards,
    Vidya

This is a standard SAP functionality. Usually a credit memo is referenced to an invoice and if you don't have a reference to an invoice SAP would consider that credit memo as due immediatly.
If you have an invoice to be referenced to this credit memo enter the invoice number in the invoice reference field in FB75 > payment tab and then enter the payment term. If you don't have an invoice reference enter V  in the invoice reference field and then the payment term, system will calculate net due date based on payment term.
