Changing design of FAQ module
Hi,
I can't seem to find the way to change the search button in the FAQ module. I when trough all the CSS and can't find a clue how to do this. Has you have figured out, I know very little about coding so any help would be welcome. Here is the url of my FAQ. http://www.geppp.com/faq
When I go to the FAQ module template, all I see is {tag_question}. No HTML that I could modify.

FAQ module templates are for:
list of questions (list layout)
an individual question details (detail layout)
If you've added the FAQ search to a page, the HTML source code for the search is made available to be changed via the page source.
Find the line in HTML view that contains the SUBMIT button:
<div class="item"><input class="cat_button" type="submit" value="Search" /></div>
This line can be replaced with an image alternative for the buttom:
<div class="item"><input type="image" src="/images/your-submit-button-image.jpg" alt="Rechercher"/></div>

How do I change the title FAQ to Knowledgebase?
We've widened the use of the FAQ (module) to be a knowledgebase. But, we have not been able to change the title on the detail page from FAQ.
Is there a way to change the title?Batch renaming is not yet implemented in Photos. As a work-around for now you can search for Automator scripts that will do it.
Sort order of Album list, Album contents and Folder contents can be changed by checking or unchecking the Keep Sorted By... option under the View menu. I know, very limited options...

Simplifying the design of the module lib by:
- Refactoring the existing mechanism to support the inter-communication between modules thru a unique identifier.
- Ability to communicate between multiple instances of the same module.
- Removed the LazyLoader which was a temporary workaround.
- Adding a new Metadata which must be used within messages that are inter-communication API messages (to communicate between modules).
- Adding a message pool which basically keep all messages that need to be redirected to a module which is not yet instantiated until the module is available and ready to accept the messages.
- Redo from scratch the ModuleTest application to show the new behaviors.
- Refactored the InSync sample to use the new Module lib.

I looked up what .exe files the ISim tool used, and then simply took the nt64 files and copied them over to the nt folder so that it wouldn't run the 32 bit ISim but the 64 bit one that anthbs claimed would work. At first it didn't come up with any errors it says the simulation ran successfully but it wouldn't open the actual ISim gui. In order to fix this I went to the ISimgui.exe file and unclicked run as administrator. I'm not sure if that's clicked by default or if I had changed it at some point trying to fix the issue.
Anyway these are the files I copied over from nt64 to nt folder:

Need of Changing Parameters in Function Module
Hi All,
Why we need sepearte Import and Export parameters in Function Module if the Changing Parameters
acts as both import and export parameters.
What is the use of using Changing Parametrs in Function Module.

EXPORT PARAMETERS: When u r passing some value to the function, and the parameter will not be changed in the function, we use export parameter. Example: u pass parameter (a : 10) to a function, even after the function has been executed, value of a will be 10 only.
IMPORT PARAMETER: When u require some value back from the function. u do not provide any initial value to the function. Example : u pass a parameter (b: <blank>) to the function, function returns the same import parameter as (b : 20).
CHANGING PARAMETER: When u pass some value to the function and that function may change that value inside function, then changing parameters are used. Example: u pass parameter ( c: 30) to the function as changing parameter and function modifies this variable and return ( c: 50).

How can I make a copy of the FAQs module or filter on language?
Hi,
is it possible to make a copy of the FAQs module? I need to have FAQs in different languages.
I can add event, photo, news ands media modules but not a new FAQs module.
I also found that you can add a category and display the FAQs with the filter: cr or individual filter. But where do I add the category name to filter on?Solved!
Quick solution: the ID is used for the category name, so I need to do a time consuming process to find the id.

Changing delivered class/function module.
Hello All,
Can I change delivered ABAP class "CL_HRMSS_RECRUITING_WF" (add functionality to a method "CREATENBOBJECT"). Also can I change a delivered function module "HRWPC_EREC_CREATE_EREC_OBJECT" .
My original problem.
I am trying to pass the my object (with few attributes read from tables) using CREATENBOBJECT as a parameter to the function module "HRWPC_EREC_CREATE_EREC_OBJECT" (CREATENBOBJECT calls HRWPC_EREC_CREATE_EREC_OBJECT).
The "CREATENBOBJECT" is called as an activity in the workflow (personnel requisition workflow).

2> Type in CL_HRMSS_RECRUITING_WF in screen field Object Type
Menu path
3> Object Type/More Functions/Copy. Here you mention your class name (ex: Z_CL_HRMSS_RECRUITING_WF)
Copy FM:
Path
1> SE37
2> Type in HRWPC_EREC_CREATE_EREC_OBJECT in screen field 'Function Module'
Menu Path
3> Goto Function Module/ Other Functions /Copy. TYpe in your FM say Z_HRWPC_EREC_CREATE_EREC_OBJECT

Control design and simulation module
Hi,
I am new to Labview and i am trying to work on Control System design. I have downloaded and installed the Evaluation Module of Control Design and Simulation Module. The problem I am facing witht this is its not showing any control fuctions in functions Palette. While installing it said its installing only control design and simulation assistant. Please, can anyone help with this.
I am actually looking at this module to implement Sliding mode control for non linear systems. I would like to know if there are any examples to implement this??

The problem is the following. The version of LabVIEW that you are using does not match the version of the evaluation version of LabVIEW Control Design and Simulation Module (CD&SIM). If that happens, the installer will not select the support files for your LabVIEW. If you download LabVIEW 2011, then you must install CD&SIM 2011.
Now, the module in the current version does not have an example with sliding mode control. But using this module, you can easily implement the algorithms and simulation its result using the Control and Simulation Loop.

Need to create pdf using adobe live cycle designer using function module
Hi,
Needed some help regarding creating a pdf at the backend. I will have function module in the backend which contains all my data and also an image represented as a Base64 encoded string.
What i need to do is pass this data onto adobe live cycle designer fromthe function module and create a pdf at a particular location. Please let me know how can we achieve this. if there is any function module to do the same. how does the function module i have defined call the adobe live cycle designer transaction or module to create a pdf. i am not an abaper so dont have much idea about the details.

Points that you can note:
1) Adobe Interactive forms can be created & connected to SAP database using ABAP Workbench, through WebDynpro.
2) Also adobe Interactive forms can be created & connected to SAP database using Transaction SFP.
3) And for both of the above 'Adobe Live cycle Designer' should be installed on the front end. -

" Changed " Design Status after deployment involving two runtime reposiory
Hello everybody,
I'm experiencing severe metadata management problems in OWB 10.1.0.2.0.
When I deploy a mapping into the production runtime repository , it appears with a "changed" design status when I switch back to the development runtime repository.
If I can't rely on the design status it will be a nightmare to manage mapping delivery !
Anyone can share his experience about managing multiple runtime repository ?

Looking at your single design repository that deploys to two runtime repositories; I would say when you switch the runtime, it updates internally the default connected runtime for the mapping. As you will remember you can deploy straight from within the design browser if you have previously set the deploy mode. It will be updating this.
Not much you can do, except create a different design repository. It is somewhat poor I know. I raised a number of TARS on this myself. Perhaps they improved it in Paris (but I somehow doubt it.) Multiple database deployment configuration should be in there but so should real user based functional security and versioning(via the frontend without script repository hacks).
Too sum up, nearly all sites use the multiple design repository approach.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to change the workflow status manully in SharePoint Designer.
There is no out of the box way to accomplish this with SharePoint, and we also can not achieve it with SharePoint Designer.
We can use the Visual Studio to custom the status.
In SharePoint object model the status of the workflow is modeled through the SPWorkflowStatus enumeration. Each status value is an integer that represents its place in a zero-based ordered list.
The status values can be extended through the StatusColumn element in the ExtendedStatusColumnValues section of the Workflow.xml file.
