Changing dispay in menu

Hi all!
I just wondering is it possible to set user defined display (besides filter I can't find anything else) of database object in menu tree?
I already take a look on User Guide and Preferences but without luck...

What are you hoping to do? Well, for example, I would like to disable few things in detail view for package specification, also for package body's want to see only names of procedures and functions, not parameters,.., etc.
It helps me to have better overview in menu, if package is really big and has many procs...
The only option you have at this point is the filter. Yes, it's very usefull for schemas with many objects :-)
If you have specific requests, you can add them to the Exchange.OK, I will do that. Thanks Sue!
Regards!

  • Changing Dimensions of menu items in menubar

    I wanted to make the menu items have an auto width instead of
    a fixed with. So I followed the direction in the Help file under
    "Change dimensions of menu items" to change the .css. The menu
    items now seem to stretch to fit the width of the text, but the
    secondary menus now display horizontally instead of vertically
    below the top menu item. This is only in Explorer 6 & 7. Works
    fine in Firefox.

    Hi Kayo,
    You'll want to checkout these samples:

  • Change Background in Menu Creation  Encore CS4 and Photoshop

    I am creating a menu using Encore and Photoshop. I Used the Encore Libray to create a blank background and also created a series of buttons adusting them in Photoshop CS4. However, when I try to change the background with a new jpg or psd file I open the picture in Photoshop but not as the new background layer  I am trying to achieve. Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong?

    Dear Bill,
    Thank you for your prompt reply. However, I don't think I am explaining my problem correctly so if you have the patience I am sending you this little "Jing" movie which will show you my problem

    Subject: Change Background in Menu Creation  Encore CS4 and Photoshop
    There should be no problem when adding the image of your choice, with Edit in Photoshop.
    When you choose Edit in Photoshop, several things happen:
    1.) a TMP PSD for that Menu is created.
    2.) links are created between En and PS
    3.) PS is launched, and that TMP PSD is then Opened in PS.
    When one has edited that TMP PSD in PS, they must do a Save to allow those links back to En*.
    If you are doing a Save_As, or Save_As_a_Copy, those links will NOT be followed, and the Menu will NOT update in En.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
    I have encountered some instances, where a single Save does not follow those links. With experimentation, I have found that 3 Saves (Ctrl+S) will force those links to be followed, and the Menu updated in En. Not sure why this happens sometimes, but 3 seems to be the "magic number," at least for me.

    Can I change the nav menu text color? ( it's too dark for the dark background I like.)

    I have this exact same question and you have no reply and I'm wondering what the answer is.

    Does and one know if you can change the navigation menu at the top of the iWeb template pages? I need to make the background a little wider.

    It depends on which template you use.
    You can also hide the default navigation and build your own which allows more freedom of design and is better for search engine optimization...

  • Color not changing on Selected Menu tab

    I'm creating a custom css and in doing so have been trying to change the text color of the selected menu tab. I've added it to my stylesheet but it is not changing upon running it. If I change the menu tab specifically via the properties of the tab, it will change. Is 'color' something we can change?
    Here is a snipet of my css:
    .af|menuTabs::selected {color:red;
    white-space:nowrap;
    font-family:Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,sans-serif;
    font-size:200%;
    background-color:white;
    font-weight:bold;
    text-decoration:none;
    Thanks,

A: Color not changing on Selected Menu tab

Your '.' before af|menuTabs is wrong.
It's just "af|menuTabs::selected" not ".af|menuTabs::selected".
Also, you need to use the ::selected-link pseudo-element to style the color of the text.
/* Make the selected tab bold */
af|menuTabs::selected-link
font-weight: bold;
font-size: 14pt;
color: green;
}

    Thank you for the answers.
    If it is possible I don't want create nothing because it complicates the stuffs (I'm a very beginner in this things). I have tried the javascript way but it don't modifies the behavior of the menu.
    Excavating in the iWeb application folder I have reach this file that seems the responsable of the navigation bar: iWeb.app/Contents/Resources/Themes/_Simple\ Info\ orange.webtheme/Italian.lproj/Welcome.webtemplate/com.apple.iweb.widget.navbar. Welcome.plist
    I have open it with Pref Setter:

  • How to change a list/menu to a text field when 'Other' is chosen?

    Hi there. I've been trying to solve this for a week now and I have depleted all my resources, that is why I'm here. I even went to jquery but nothing works and I think I was over-complicating this way too much.
    In short: I have a contact form, which have a list/menu with validation, and one of the options of that list/menu is "other". What I want is that when the user select "other" automatically change to a text field in order to let the user put his custom color. This is what I have:
    <form method="post" action="process.php">
    <span id="spryselect1">
    <label for="colors"></label>
    <select name="colors" id="colors">
    <option selected="option1">Blue.</option>
    <option value="option2">White</option>
    <option value="option3">Red</option>
    <option value="other">other</option>
    </select>
    <span class="selectRequiredMsg">Please select a colour.</span></span>
    <input type="submit" value="Send">
    </form>
    I know now that the approach is to show/hide a separate textbox besides the other... well. I don't know how to implement that, I think I really need your help guys. I'm completely frustrated.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Changed DOCTYPE Causes menu shift in IE

    Hi,
    To clean up my page I'm trying to add a correct DOCTYPE. My current site works but but done pre-Dreamweaver has a lot of validation errors. That site is http://www.nevilleboats.com
    I've changed the DOCTYPE to 4.01 transitional.
    The results can be seen in an alternate temporary page:  http://nevilleboats.com/index2.htm
    In FireFox the site appears to be pretty stable.  When loaded into IE, however, the whole menu stack originally on the left side of the page (inside a table column) shifts to the center of the page.  It actually locates beneath the slideshow.
    The general layout of the page is a table layout with a bit of CSS.  I appreciate a full CSS page might be a solution, but I just don't have the experience yet to pull that off.
    Can more experienced eyes point me to a solution?
    Thanks
    chuck

    Here's code that validates EXCEPT for the following -
    1.  Flash embed/object markup
    2.  Missing alt attributes
    3.  The <marquee> tag
    You can use this as a solid base....

      Neville  --- For over 30 years I have been designing rugged Trawler
      and Motor Yachts that help owner&#39;s like you realize your dreams.  I
      have also been sculpting versatile motorsailers and finding solutions
      for commercial motor catamarans that take you diving or exploring remote
      destinations. Add to that body of work, propulsion systems for US Coast
      Guard&#39;s own fleet of boats that protect you, and work with big ship
      design firms that bring goods to your door. ...I&#39;ve been busy.  </p>
            <p align="left">Within the design process I&#39;ve learned a lot. One of the
              most important things I&#39;ve learned is good ideas don&#39;t just stem from
              the designer. The best designs evolve through collaboration between the
              designer and the client. Over the years I&#39;ve worked with dozens of great
              boat yards and hundreds of experienced owners. It is this collaborative
              experience that I to bring to the table when developing a new project,
              be it a 20 foot open boat or a 100 foot luxury yacht.</p>
            <p align="left">Listening is the key to any successful design. My goal
              is not to design a boat that is right for me, but one that meets or
              exceeds the requirements of you, my client. Over the last many years
              much of my focus has become moderate sized Motor or Trawler style
              yachts: family cruisers between 50 and 100 foot in length. You will see
              some here, and others shown in my <b><i>White Book</i></b> of recent
              designs. The important thing to remember is that all these images are
              merely starting points. </p>

  • Changing only 1 menu item background color in a VerticleSpryMenu

    Im working on this Verticle Spry Menu Bar (seen below) . I'm trying to figure out how to change the 'Get Started!' Item to be a different color than orange.  Home, Support and Get Started!  are clickable links with no submenu whereas the other menu items have submenus. Is there a special code to customize just Get Started!. Through CSS stylesheet I can get Get Started to change color  but then Home and Support also change color and I dont want that.
    Thanks

    For all menu items use the following selectors
    ul.MenuBarVertical a
    ul.MenuBarVertical a:hover, ul.MenuBarVertical a:focus
    ul.MenuBarVertical a.MenuBarItemHover, ul.MenuBarVertical a.MenuBarItemSubmenuHover, ul.MenuBarVertical a.MenuBarSubmenuVisible
    For menu items with sub menu items use the following selectors to override the above
    ul.MenuBarVertical a.MenuBarItemSubmenu
    ul.MenuBarVertical a.MenuBarItemSubmenuHover

  • Changing the context menu?

    When I right-click on an icon and get the context menu, it's got some very lengthy names next to some of the programs (looks like build numbers or something). Sometimes it goes for 50 characters!
    Question:
    Where is this data stored (that is, the data that is actually appearing on that context menu) and how can I change it? I would love context menus that are slim and short, with just a one-word program file name...
    Thanks!

    I'm no expert on this, but...
    The list that shows in the Open With section is generated either dynamically, or on startup and stored in the launchservices database. Which application will open which file is determined by the settings in each application's info.plist file. Launchservices scans each info.plist to determine the relevant file types for each app and then displays them as options when you go to Open With.
    If you want to change the name of the app as it is displayed in that list, you'll need to figure a way to change the name as it appears in info.plist
    You can access the info.plist files by Ctrl-clicking the app and choosing 'Show Package Contents'. If you are going to try editing it, it's a lot easier if you install the Property List Editor included as part of the Developer Tools on your Mac OS X DVD.

  • Change spry vertical menu background color

    After updating from 4.1 to 6.1, the background color of my
    vertical menu changed to the default grey. How do I change the
    background to my original blue.
    James

    I'm going to give you a couple links to help you out.
    http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/home.html
    - this is the official Spry Homepage. Here you will find an updater
    to the Spry. Most of the documentation on the website is built
    around the latest version and this is where you will find the
    updater. Inside the package are some samples and an extension.
    Install the Extension and then restart DW and under the Sites menu
    you will see a new option to Update Spry. There is also a link to
    the official Spry forums from there.
    http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/samples/menubar/MenuBarSample.html
    - This is a quick sample of different things you can do to change
    the menu bar. This does not include the basic color change. But it
    does give you an idea of how to change things in the CSS file (view
    the source of the page).
    http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/articles/menu_bar/index.html
    - This is directly from the Adobe Spry documentation. If you scroll
    down a ways it will show you how to do the color customizations for
    the Spry Menu Bar.
    Lastly, if you do not have a basic understanding of CSS this
    will all be foreign to you. If that is the case I would highly
    recommend reading over the below CSS tutorial first to get a basic
    understand of the CSS code:

  • You can't change your Cell Menu voltages?

    Just read the manual and use correct keys!!
    NumPad's +/- or PageUp/PageDown if you want to adjust values.
    Quote from: AaronYuri on 31-August-08, 08:26:25
    Use the +/- keys by the number pad, or use the page up and page down keys.
    This is so we don't have to keep repeating it...
    P.S It's written in your manual!
    We are placing another sticky about it as xxxx people continue to asking the same comic question

    Hi , I think Where people get confused with this is. when you go to set the voltage it is greyed out. when you read the menu to the right it tells you about the white ,red and grey. grey being you cannot do anything about it. And white you can adjust. When this post said to highlight it does not actually highlight. If you scroll down to what you want to adjust, leave it rest there and press + or - on the numbered keypad and you can change it to what you want to. Sometimes a Hey he's stupid Explanation Might be Needed. LOL
    And Yeh I'm one of the stupid ones, it took me this long to figure it out!!
