Please check out my discussion on this. I didn't test it with size, but font can be changed: https://discussions.apple.com/message/19434956#19434956

  • How to change email fonts?

    Hi,
Does anyone know how I can use a different font for the emails I send out? For some reason I am stuck with Times Roman and like to get Arial.
FYI. I am using both POP3 emails (gmail) as well as Exchange via ActiveSync.
    Thanks

The iPhone can view and forward HTML-formatted emails, but NOT compose them. Any text added above the copy of an HTML-formatted email being forwarded is added as unformatted text. On the recipient's email client, that may display differently than a plain text email, since the recipient's mail client may have a different default display for plain text versus unformatted text in a rich text or HTML formatted email. For example, in Outlook plain text emails display in Courier, whereas unformatted text in HTML-formatted emails displays as Times New Roman.
Text added within the HTML-formatted portion of the email being forwarded takes on the formatting of the area it's entered, and maintains that formatting on the recipient's end. But, the iPhone does not have an HTML editor for composing mail, i.e. you cannot change the formatting of the email sent from the iPhone.

  • Is there a way to change the font color for emailing and the signature?

Is there a way to change the font color with email signature on the iPhone and iPad?
I changed the color in Word on my laptop, emailed and copied to my signature, but it converts it back to black........

Looks like you didn't get a reply on your post, but it is still a problem.  Font size is supposedly changeable via "Accessibility" in Settings, but it doesn't work.  You can turn on "Zoom".

  • How do I change the fonts on the main page.My fonts have recently changed without my doing anything. They are like 6 point instead of the 12 I am used to. Email font is now huge. Is this an ATT/Yahoo problem or Firefox. Safari fonts seem to be o.k.

How do I change the fonts on the home page? They recently shrank from 12 to very tiny..(6 pt?). I did nothing to change them, but after the event tried to change them using "preferences-Fonts"which had no effect. ATT seems to have made a change in their email. The fonts in the email are now huge (18 pt?). This could be an ATT/Yahoo problem with Mac, although Safari seems to be working o. k.

Jim, extensions are also add-ons. Add-ons include extensions, themes and plugins.
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you need to make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes this article] for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.
If you want support for one of your add-ons, you'll need to contact its author.

  • IPhone email-need to change the font style, not just the size

My emails are showing in Black Arial, when I just want them to display in normal Arial font. I do not see where I can change the Font setting other than the size of it, I had it on Large but now have it on Small. On the iPhone the font appears in a regular size and not bolded except for the To and Subject lines. But when I look at an email I sent from my iPhone Outlook on my laptop, the whole email's font is darker (not All Caps, just darker), as if the letters are in bold font, but Black Arial versus Arial looks that way, but all my other emails in Outlook are in regular Arial so I would like them to be consistent.
I called Apple support and they had me re-set my mail settings and re-create my email profile, but it still did not help.

The iPhone does not support composing email in RTF or HTML, so the font type, size, or style cannot be changed. The iPhone's Mail client supports composing email in Plain Text only.
When composing email in RTF or HTML, the sender controls the formatting, which may not be displayed the same or identical with the recipient's email client depending on the email client used.
When composing email in Plain Text, the recipient controls the formatting.
What is your font setting in Outlook for viewing a received message that was composed in Plain Text?

  • How can I change the font in emails sent on my ipad or at least have it retain the font I copy

How can I change the font in emails sent on my ipad or at least have the email retain the font that I copy & paste into it?

There is no way that I know of within the native iPad email app. You might want to search the app store for a third party app that lets you change fonts if this is important.

  • When composing an email, how do I highlight a word in yellow (NOT change the font color, just highlight)?

On Windows when composing an email,  I would often highlight a word or sentence in yellow. I don't seem to have this option on my Mac Book Air toolbar as I did when I had on my laptop. How can I add this feature to my toolbar? I don't want to change the font color, just want to highlight a word within the email.
    Thank you,

You may or may not be able to do this based on which e-mail client or webmail platform you're using.  In your email options, you'll want to have the option to paste it as rich-text or HTML.  If you only have the option for plain text then you're out of luck.

  • I like the mail feature with one exception; I cannot figure out how to change the font size of incoming mail permanently.  And, when answering an email I have to highlight the first few words and zoom it so I can see what I am writing.  what am I missing?

You can type the email using what you set in preferences and then highlight the text and use command - minus sign (or command - + for larger) to reduce the size of the text.
You can also type command - T and a window will appear allowing you to select fonts/sizes/color/ background highlight.
The above works in Notes also. I haven't tried to do this in any other Apple application.
For incoming emails, you can use the above to reduce font size, but I don't know of a way to permanently set the incoming font size to a default.

  • Can we change the font in the email that is being sent from SAP ?

    Hi,
I have a requirement where in we need to change the font for the contents in the mail being generated from SAP.
I am using the FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to send my mail. And the contents are just appened to an internal table as text elements.
Can we change the font in the email that is being sent from SAP  to Arial 10points?

E-mails generated with that function module are created in plain text format.  The font that would appear when reading the e-mail would be dependt on the user's setting for the e-mail application (e.g. Outlook).
To my knowledge, the font cannot be affected during it's creation.
Hope this sheds some light on your issue.

  • How to change the incoming email font

    Hi,
is there anybody able to tell me how to change the incoming email font?
I have BB bold 9900. I was able to do it with my previous curve, but not with this one.
    Thanks

Hi muttley and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
There is no option to change the incoming mail font. You can change the entire system font by going to Options>Display>Screen Display.
    Thanks.

  • Incoming email fonts change in Windows 8.1 LIve Mail

Some, but not all incoming email fonts change to almost unreadable block fonts when arriving at Windows Live Mail.  It seems to be happening on forwarded items only.    Suggestions on how to stop this, or change fonts when it occurs would be most welcome.
On same general subject, is it possible to change size of incoming email fonts in Windows 8.1?

    John, welcome to the forum.
Open Windows Live Mail.  Click on the blue "File" in the upper left corner.  Then, Options / Mail / Read / Fonts (lower middle of page) / Font size.  There you can change the size of the font. I believe that it should come set to "Medium".  You can change it by clicking on the drop-down menu.
