Changing Font Coloured of Particular Block & Disabled Items.

Hi there all,
I have 5/6 blocks in a form.
1. I want to change the background and foreground colour of particular block.
2.I have few items which are disabled. Can we change the foreground colour of that ?
Looking forward for suggestion, as how one can go about it.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Ajeet

I've not read the paper but the word 'Loop' in your post got me worried about whether the solution is the most appropriate. I'm sure it's valid for the requirements in the paper but it looks like here all fields have to be set to the same colour. In that case it's more appropriate to assign a Visual Attribute to all fields and change the properties of that one object.
James.

  • Text caption changes font/colour/size

    Hi
The Recording Defaults for the Text Caption in the prferences has not been altered.
On some slides I need to add a text caption.
I'm finding that sometimes when I click to add a Text Caption the font, colour and size is different to what the default settings are. The default is Arial, 12, #0000FF.
When I manually add a text caption it'll show as System, 10 and black.
Has anyone come across this before?  Is there a way to stop it.  It's really annoying and a time waster to have to manually change the font, size and colour.  And you have to be on your guard.  It's not every time I manually add a text caption, just sometimes.  It's intermittent.
    Thanks
    Anita

    Hi there
The name will vary from version to version.
    Captivate_v10.dat
    Captivate_v20.dat
    Captivate_v30.dat
    Captivate_v40.dat
The location also varies. For me, it is:
    D:\Documents and Settings\Rick\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Captivate
As you can see, D is my drive letter. Yours will likely be C. My name is Rick and is how I log in. Yours will be different. Also, the "Application Data" folder is likely to be hidden from your view unless you adjust Windows to show it to you. And all of this is likely in a different location if you are using Vista or Windows 7. I'm using XP Pro.
Note that you cannot edit this file. Captivate does that internally. About all you are able to do is to close Captvate and delete or rename it. Captivate will then cook up a fresh one when it starts up and cannot locate it.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Change font size in drop-down form item

When I'm in design mode, I assigned the drop-down item a
    style class of 9pt
font and it looks fine in design mode. When I go to view in
    IE, the font
looks like a standard 10pt font and doesn't change when I
    change the class.
So, all of my titles are in 9pt but the form text boxes and
    drop-down boxes
    are all using 10pt font.
How do you change the font used in form fields?
    Thanks!

One should not use a print metric on the web. Please use
    pixels, ems, ens,
exs, percents, or font size names, but definitely not points.

  • Changing font colour on outgoing email

How do I change the default colour on outgoing email as a default setting.
I have changed it at preferences as stated in the help section but it remains black.
Do I have to use outlook in order to do something so simple!

How do I change the default colour on outgoing email as a default setting.
Mail does not have that feature (unless you want to use stationery). To set the color (or the font or size) you must do it for each outgoing individually.
Do I have to use outlook in order to do something so simple!
Yes, if you want to be able to set the default font, size, or color without using stationery you need to use another app.

  • Change font colour in Text Field

If I have typed 'The Cat Sat On The Mat' into a text field yet I want 'The Cat' to appear in bold  and the rest as normal, how can I do this or even in a different colour?
    Any help would be appreciated

The only way to do this, is a text field that you change from plain text to rich text.
Then you can enter what you want, press ctrl+b to make something bold.
If you want to see the content of your box, use TextField.value.exData.saveXML() ...

  • To change Font of a Particular Node in a tree structure

IS there any way to set Visual attribute property to a particular node_lable on Heirachical tree Structure.
    e.g.
Main Office has Two Branch Offices(Office1 and Office2). and Office1 has Three Sub Branches(sub1,sub2 and sub3).If I am working from Office1, and I want to print Organisation Structure with Office1 with font_weight as Bold.

Enhancements IF applied they will be available only in new releases of Forms, which probably be 11i. It's not possible to have it in Forms 6i.
Froms 6i it's already out of support (has minimum support I think).

  • Change font colour to red if value less than zero

Please forgive as I am not sure if this should go to the SQL or Application Thread..
My questions is regarding SQL in Application Express
I want to display my field (ADJ (INCL GST) in a red colour if its value is less than zero
    here is SQL code
    select "TW_BILL_ADJ_DATA"."CUSTOMER" as "CUSTOMER",
    "TW_BILL_ADJ_DATA"."ORIGINATER" as "ORIGINATOR",
CASE WHEN (CREDITDEBIT) = 'Credit' THEN (0 - ADJUSTMENT_INCL_GST) ELSE ADJUSTMENT_INCL_GST END "ADJ (INCL GST)"
    from TW_BILL_ADJ_DATA

Thankyou for the example above, after much searching I have also found another way to perform the same task
    select     "BILL_DATA"."BILLING_CODE",
CASE WHEN (CREDITDEBIT) = 'Credit' then
              '<span style="color:Red;">'
              || TO_CHAR (0 - "ADJUSTMENT_INCL_GST", 'FML999G999G999G999G990D00')|| '</span>'
                             else
              '<span style="color:Green;">'
              || TO_CHAR ( "ADJUSTMENT_INCL_GST", 'FML999G999G999G999G990D00')|| '</span>'
                             end "Adj (incl GST)"
    from TW_TABLE

  • Document changing font colour when emailed?

I have produced a doc in pages on my iMac that include white text with a blue background when I email it and open it on my iPad which also has pages the text is not formatted  as i sent and the words are black on blue background .....any help!

You may have hit a feature variation, or a bug. All you can do is test a range of samples, making sure to clearly label them so you can tell at a glance what happens to what.
First I would check that you haven't used rgb color. Try setting the colors with cmyk and make sure the text is 0% black to get the white.
Also try the reverse where everything is rgb in case iOS requires rgb.

  • Default appearance of disabled items

Hi, i would like to have some informations on visual attributes of disabled items :
--Is it possible to change the default appearance of disabled items?
--How oracle forms manage visual of disabled items?
--Is it possible to change background or foreground color of disabled items?
    Thank you very much.
    Edited by: Tabit7 on Jul 19, 2011 6:30 AM

This seems a pretty simple thing to test. For example, I created a sample form and in the When-New-Item-Instance trigger I added the following code:
    :BLOCK1.ITEM1 := 'TEST';
    Set_Item_Property('BLOCK1.ITEM1',BACKGROUND_COLOR,'r255g255b000');  /* YELLOW */
Set_Item_Property('BLOCK1.ITEM1',FOREGROUND_COLOR,'r255g255b255');  /* WHITE */Good so far. Background is Yellow and Forground is White. Then I disabled the item.
Set_Item_Property('BLOCK1.ITEM1',ENABLED, PROPERTY_FALSE);and the text Forground color changed to light black or dark grey. So to answer your questions:
--Is it possible to change the default appearance of disabled items?Yes - but, not all attributes of the disabled item can be modified.
--How oracle forms manage visual of disabled items? The basic appearance of the item doesn't change except for the forground color.
--Is it possible to change background or foreground color of disabled items? Background color = YES, Forground color = NO.
If there are other attributes you want to change, Font Style, etc, I suggest you try to set the property and see what happens. As it turns out, you can also change the FONT_SYTLE of a disabled item as well. ; )
    Hope this helps,
    Craig B-)

  • Changing fonts in interactive form fields

I have created a form in Acrobat Professional 8 containing various form fields to be filled in. I want the end user to be able to change the font and colour of the text in each form field before printing it out. The end user will be using Adobe Reader - not Acrobat.
How can I do this? Also, can it be done so that users can open and edit the pdf in Adobe Reader 6, or would it have to be a later version?
Any help or suggestions much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Emma.

I have figured out how to do this at long last - no thanks to Adobe customer support who told me it can't be done - and the answer was simple as I suspected... To enable users to edit the attributes of text in a text field in Adobe Reader you simply need to check the 'allow rich text formatting' box on the Options tab of the text field properties when you create the text field in Acrobat. Then once the pdf is opened in Reader, simply Control + E to bring up the properties tool palette and you can change font, colour, size, spacing etc.
Thought I would just post this in case anyone else is trying to do the same thing.

  • IMovie OS X Mavericks Font Colour

Since the OS X Mavericks update, I am really struggling and wondering how it is possible to change font colours of the titles in the new iMovie? I'd like to put some of the titles on a white background, but the font is in white so it doesnt work very well
There seems to be a font editing panel - but all the options are 'greyed' out
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

This issue looks like it only happens when the paper size is set to A4. If I select US Letter the preview is fine and doesn't split the content.
