Changing Font Of Multiple Buttons

Hey ya'll! First off i'm new here and it looks like you guys
know what you're talking about. i searched the forums but could not
find any help (perhaps i wasn't' looking hard enough) ANYWAY here
is the deal:
i'm a complete n00b.
I have a flash movie with multiple buttons and want to change
the fonts of ALL buttons simultaneously (it changes color on
mouseover, so i want to change the font of the text which is a
different color... ... the fla file is here.... i can make any
changes necessary and start over if need be (its a pretty simple
flash menu i guess) any help with optimization and efficiency would
be appreciated.

You need to edit each button individually, one by one.
The only time when multiple buttons get changed all at once
is when you
design it fully dynamic. One button/movie clip, duplicated,
multiplied and
control by action script.
In your case, you need to change one by one manually.
By the way, take note that the forum is connected to News
Server. Many of us
never use the browser based forum so by bumping your post,
you only make it appear
answered and your chances of getting help get smaller as we
usually go for the
unanswered threads only.

I am creating a form - there are about 2 dozen form fields that are set up.
I had Acrobat detect form fields.
Is there a way I can select multiple form fields and change the font in all of them?
I have tried selecting all the fields [cmd A] and double clicking to get to the appearance tab.
The only changes the font in the 1 field I double click.

Select all the form fields , select first the hold shift key and select the rest Then right click or control click and choose properties. then look for "Fonts" choose desired font. If this works your all set otherwise you will have to choose each indivually and change.

How can I change the font to multiple titles at the same time?

Hey guys, quick question. I have a bunch of titles and lower thirds in my project and my producer decided that he didn't like the font we were previously using and wants to change it to a new one. He seems to do that pretty often. Is there a way to "globally" change the font to multiple title cards at the same time instead of clicking on each one separately and doing it manually for each one? And if there is no way to do that does anyone have any ideas on how to make it easier?

If you have any idea of design and fonts you would understand that "Title Cards" are not "exactly the same" if you change the font... because all fonts are not equal! Lower thirds are probably even more restrictive because they have design elements in them.
If you work with "change their mind producers"...the deal that goes with that is suck up their changes. (on a salary or otherwise)
I was just saying there is no way without scripting ..to change a title ( graphic) en masse ( in Premiere) and get it working because of font differences.

Hello,
You can create a separate Theme to change or modify the properties of UI elements and can use it in your application. You should have System Admin role assigned in the portal.
Goto System Admin-> POrtal Display -> Theme Editor select any of the standard theme and change it to as per your requirement and save your theme with different name.
In webdynpro you can not change the font size of button. Hope this helps

I am trying to change font size on multiple paths at once but as soon as I select them the font options become unavailable (greyed out).
Is it possible to do it?

If you select multiple paths with the Selection tool (the black arrow) then you cannot alter type formatting directly. Seasoned InDesign users rarely manipulate type by direct formatting; instead we apply a paragraph style to all of the type, and then change the paragraph style. If all the text on those paths was marked with the same paragraph style, then you could just change the style.
You could do it other ways, but they're all suboptimal. For instance, if all of your text-on-path was set at 11 points, and no other type was set at 11 points anywhere in your document, you could use Find/Change to specify a Find Format and a Change Format under More Options. If all of the paths were marked with the same Object Style, then you could make a new Paragraph Style and specify it in the Object Style.
But if you drew those paths by hand, then they have the Basic Graphics Frame object style applied (like everything else you drew in the document) and if you didn't style the text then every bit of text has the Basic Paragraph style applied (like every other bit of text in the document). So you're either going to do it by hand, or... you're going to follow Willi's allcaps advice.

Changing attributes of Toggle Buttons

I would like to remove the border of the circle of a JRadioButton and the square of a JCheckBox. Is this possible? I would also like to have the label text be black and the selection color be something else (say green). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do I change font and colors back to default?

I have changed the font and color of the text through the tools button and the options button and the content tab. I find nothing telling me how to change the font and colors back to default font and colors. Can you advise me? I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Thanks.

Unfortunately for the default colors has no good reference. But for text it is black (most lower left) color, background is white (most upper left color). Unvisited links is blue (column 8, row 5) and visited link is purple (column 9, row 5).

Email will not let me change fonts all of a sudden. It says I don't have the neccesay permissions in ~/library/preferences. this has just happened recently.

Who is your email provider?
You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears. Try again to see if the problem persists.
If yes, try deleting the mail account and adding it again.

I'm not certain what font sizes you wish to change, when on a page you can use command and the += button to zoom in and make the fonts larger. On the finder desktop you can make what ever is on the desktop larger or smaller from the finder menu click view, custom view options, and adjust the icon size with the slider on the top, and the text using the text size box to select the size that your comfortable with.

I'm working on a small Editor-App and I just want to add the oppurtunity to change fonts. I'm using a TextArea and it should be possible to change the font for parts of the TextArea, not just for the whole one.

The java.awt.TextArea doesn't support multiple fonts in a single TextArea. AFAIK, if you want to use java.awt, you'll have to write your own. The javax.swing text classes make it easier.

The button Ids are same for both the buttons in your code. You need to change it as BUTTON1, BUTTON2.
**First button

Did anyone solve this? I want to permantntly both the change the font and color of the font in all of my outgoing messages. I've managed to change the font and size, but the color is still basic black. So for every message I have to go to the menu bar, select font/color and change it. I'm on email just about 6 hours a day, and really, really don't want to have to do it this way. PLEASE - advice on permanent changes?
And what's with the "styles" button? There's no information on how to use anywhere that I've checked.

i maked some changes on your script:
- what is it item(0) instruction ??
use instead paragraphs[0]
- moreover you can use fontStyle.. it doesn't exist , it's textFont.stye but only for read, you can't assign "bold" or other style...
to put a differents style, you need to attribute when you call the font name "MyriadPro-Bold".
(** to obtain exact name you need, i have attritube first manually, and check his name with myParagraph.characterAttributes.textFont.name, to be sure avoid error name OR use my second script below**)
- you use paragraphs instruction, but i'm not sure that is really usefull, because you have created a text first and you can thus include your properties (font name and style) exept if you envisaged to change font before a paragraphs
- what is it pointSize ? doesn't exist also.. simply use size if you want change the size of textFont
