Changing gestures back

I'd like to know why I can't change gestures to be the same as Snow Leopard.
my workflow is COMPLETELY interrupted and using lion feels like a chore because the changes aren't fluid or intuitive.
two fingers used to scroll 100% of the time. Now, by default, if goes back and forward in browsers.
Guess what: 3 fingers used to do that.
2 and 3 finger swipe to go back and forward in a browser has two different animations, which is stupid and unnecessary.
pinching and spreading with 3 fingers and a thumb is EXTREMELY unintuitive and is in fact impossible for me because I have nails.
in Snow Leopard swiping up with 4 fingers showed the desktop and down with 4 fingers pulled up expose.
in Lion swiping up with 4 fingers opens mission control and swiping down opens a severely crippled 'expose'. now in order to show the desktop I have to awkwardly arrange my fingers so I can spread with 3 fingers and a thumb.
I love the performance enhancements, but these new gestures have to go. they're horribly unintuitive, especially for legacy users.

If you have a 2G iPod those can only go to iOS 4.2.1. A 3G and 4G to the current 5.1.1. A 1G to 3.1.3

If you are using Safari as a web browser :-
Open Safari, go to Safari menu > Preferences > General, and put Google as the homepage. Then, choose Google as your default search engine.
If you are using Google Chrome as the web browser :-
Open Google Chrome.
In the top right corner of the page, click the Chrome menu Chrome menu > Settings.
In the "Search" section, select Google from the drop-down menu.

Of course your password shouldn't work on a different Apple ID. This can happen for many reasons, no worries, just sign out back back in using your own ID.

LR on your laptop is still a desktop version. It is just now able to upload to the cloud to replicate photos to either http://lightroom.adobe.com/ or an iPad that has LR Mobile installed.
I think you probably just want to change the LR 5 identity plate back so it doesn’t mention LR Mobile all the time. Hover over the identity-plate area, and click on the little triangle that appears, then choose Change Identity Plate.

All of a sudden I noticed that most of the folders on my computer were no longer using the folder icon, but the generic document icon. I had to manually change back the icon being used by opening Get Info for each folder and copying and pasting the generic folder icon from some folders that remained unchanged. Now whenever I create a New Folder (right click -> "New Folder"), the icon that shows up is the generic document icon (white page with top right corner turned down). And I have to manually change it so it shows up as a folder in Finder or on my desktop. I don't know why or how this switch happened. All of the folders now on my computer look ok, but I need to change the default so when I create a New Folder it uses the correct icon.
I have also Forced Relaunch of my Finder and rebooted the system. I downloaded Candybar but am not sure what will fix anything, so I haven't proceeded.

Had you looked in the User Guide, you would have found this: Settings>Store. Tap on AppleID to change.

Next time you accidentally use 3 fingers it will zoom again. Unless you need the feature you're better to turn it off

App store on phone has switched to different region, how do I change it back?

Somehow when browsing the app store on my iPhone it's changed to US app store. My account is based in New Zealand and I can no longer download or update anything as it keeps telling me that I need to change the store to New Zealand but I don't know how!
If anyone can walk me through what I need to do to change this back to my default NZ app store that would be much appreciated.

Open the App Store... Scroll all the way to the bottom and Select "Apple ID: abcdef", then View my Apple ID, then log in, and make sure Country/Region is selected as appropriate and hit done.

Wow! I think I had this same issue just last night.
I was cleaning my macbook pro retina on the outside. Then I opened it up and was wiping dust off the monitor and I can't pinpoint exactly when, but the colors changed suddenly. It looked super strange, it was like green halo's and it looked worse when looking at it at an angle. Of course I took no pictures!!! I was freaking out that my 2 grand laptop was busted and I somehow removed a protective film or something.
But I digress... The image looked very green and spacey, it was almost a neat effect. After about 5 minutes it started to look a little more digital though. There were straight lines of this halo effect on the edges and top. After about 10 minutes it turned into a predominate issue with the blacks on screen. I could open a web browser and it was unnoticable on a white background. After about 15 minutes, you could only barely see the green cloud effect if you looked at the monitor from an extreme angle. After about 20 minutes, it was completely back to normal, I almost feel paranoid like I see a halo or something strange. But I believe that might be all in my head now.
So yerp, lemme know what you guys figure out.

That's caused by the "Smart zoom" feature of the magic mouse. It's a Double tap with one finger to zoom and repeat to unzoom.
You can turn the feature off if desired in System Preferences > Mouse > Point & Click tab

In my iTunes store, the printing is white and the background is black and I have forgotten how to change it back to black printing on a white background? I know that it is a simple answer, but right now I cannot think of it.
Also, what is the "other" when you are syncing an ipad in itunes and in my case the other is more than half of my 64Gb. How do I find out what it is and then get rid of it if I want to?

Sorry to hear that didn't resolve the issue.
I checked online for issues printing from the Internet, found a couple of things you can try. Most likely it is a setting that needs to be changed in the browser settings, since the printer prints fine from the computer.
From Internet Explorer, go to File, Page setup, Remove check from "Printer background color and images" if checked, or vise versa, to see if that helps.
