I have developed a webdynpro application in which i am using a table control in the view. Can anyone tell me how can i change the height of a row in the table control?

hi anuradha,
you can set the number of the rows to be displayed, in the table controller properties, so that those many rows will be disaplayed at a time.
to do this.
Go to table controller properties,
mention the integer( number of rows to be displayed ) value in the <b>visiblerowcount</b> property.

You can redefine table control attributes eachtime PBO is called, because those attributes are dynamic. So although you defined tc-lines as 1 in first PBO execution, you can redefine to 2 if some condition is achieved,
One idea could be to create a global var, called tc_lines which is initialized as 1. In your PBO you shoud use: <tc>-lines = tc_lines.
In PAI, when you obtain your condition, you shoud here add or subract one from this global variable.

I created a Table Control which is displaying 30 rows in the initial screen.But my requirement is to display up to 200 rows in
the initial screen itself how can it be done??

Try to change the Vis Length column of the table control....
All you can do is make the Table Control visible to the entire screen....it will display the number of rows which it can in the that screen....
Rest will be availabe via vertical and horizontal scroll bars.

Use a variable when u r passing the records from the internal table to the screen fields
and display the same.
I think this idea may help u.

Can you programmatically change the width of columns in a table control\indicator

Is it possible to programmatically change the width of columns in a table control\indicator ie to fit to width of the data or in my case the header information.

Create a property node (or reference) and use the 'Active Cell' property to select which column you want to change and then use the 'Cell size'--> 'Width' property to change the size.

Locking a particular row in a table control

I have module pool program in which table control is used. I would like to know whether it is possible to lock a particular row in the table so that another person will not be able to edit it until the first user completes his work. It should be only for that particular record which is being currently edited in the table.

What is the maximum number of row for a table control in LabWindows/CVI ?

I use LabWindows CVI 8.5.1 (MMI first developped in version 6.0).
In one of our many MMI, a table control contains a list of aircraft parameters.
We can add as many parameters (row) as we want but over 40 000 we observe a crash of the LabWindows CVI runtime.
Our client want to inscrease the number of parameters (row) up to 200 000 !!!
So my questions are:
What is the real maximum number of row for the table control ?
Is this maximum number of row different on LabWindows 2010 version ?
Or is there an other solution ?

How to change the number displaying rows in a table

i have a table for resources in Debrief Work order (Standard Screen), we need to change the default displaying rows. inistially it displayed 3 empty rows.
i tried to change the Records Displayed for the table but it did not affect.
also it is possible to change the "Add 3 rows" button in the table to add for example 5 rows instead?

Through personalization we can do.On standared page top right u will find personalization link.click on the clink next expand all there find apporiate table .Here u will fine reorder button set as u want display and save. then u can see the change.For add row functionality u need to extend the co.

The lt_tab contains two cols A and B
In change mode of the transaction Col A is in display mode and Col B is in change mode
When i press the + button to insert a new blank entry .I need a blank row with both col A and col B input enabled w/o affecting the display of above and below rows of table control

but the problem here is still the Col A is in display mode and Col B is in change mode after output
.Here modify statement is happening but it does not update the TCTRL-COLS-Screen structure for the col A ( which I have set statically while designing the screen ).I dont want to make the entire row in edit mode only the inserted row ( for both Col A and Col B) and the rest shud remain as it is

I have made my tctrl input disabled for both the columsn and
I have a module before the PBO loop where I set the like
module set_tctrl_status.
IF gv_ok_code NE gc_disp.
    LOOP AT tctrl-cols INTO gs_cols.
      IF gs_cols-screen-name = 'ColB'.
        gs_cols-screen-input = 1.
        MODIFY tctrl-cols FROM gs_cols INDEX sy-tabix.
      ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.
This is just to set the Col B in edit mode when in change and create status.
But if i press the INS button for that change i am coding inside the loop endloop of the pBO like
if itab is initial.
LOOP AT tctrl-cols INTO gs_cols.
gs_cols-screen-input = 1.
MODIFY tctrl-cols FROM gs_cols INDEX sy-tabix.
endloop.
But the problems i it is setting the enite rows as input enabled . I want tos et only that row inpur enabled

Disable rows of a table control

Hi Experts,
I want to disable a row in table control, whenever SAVE is pressed.
Scenario: A Table control having 5 rows. User entered data in the first row and pressed SAVE, then
                that particular row should become greyed out or disabled, so that the user cant change or edit
                anymore.

in the PBO write the code to make the field display by the below logic..
first read the table control internal table line and check whether the field is filled if the field had value make it display mode else make it input filed..
see the below logic how to write it..
