Changing homepage in SP2013 online version

Hello
Am new to SP2013 and SPD2013 have read a book on each subject.
Have win 7, and online account with MS.
After playing around and doing the exercises in the books, I decided to delete as much as I could and build the site I intended from the start.
I deleted a whole bunch of pages, seems I kept a subsite but not the default.aspx page. Went to the recycle bin, and restored the default.aspx as I read on one of the questions answered, but don't know where it went.
I created a page which now I want to make the homepage, but cannot get the button in the edit page that "makes this page the home page" to appear.
How can I make my new page the home page?

Which website, team or public facing?
For team site, please go to the page which you want to make as homepage. Click
PAGE in the ribbon, then, click Make Homepage.
For Public facing...click Site Settings > Welcome Page to choose the page which you want to set as home page.

SP2013 Online - Approval Workflow "Request for Change" customization

Hi,
I am need for modifying the flow of request for change option in Approval workflow.
Whenever a user requests for change, I need to change the current task status as "Change Request" instead of completing the current task and creating a new task. Also, send an email notificaton to the requestor to make the changes.
Requestor will then make the changes and send a seperate email to the approver to review and approve the changes. After that reviewer will be appoving the workflow task.
I am need of this process flow as my requestor group will not have access to workflow task to re-initiate the workflow after changes.
Please advice.

Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to change the current task status as "Change Request" instead of completing the current task and creating a new task whenever a user requests for change in your SharePoint Online.
For your issue, you can Copy & Modify the Globally Reusable Publishing Approval Workflow using SharePoint Designer and create a new Task Outcome for "Change Request".

Status keeps changing from invisible to online: why the issue is ignored?

There is a serious issue raised in the parallel thread, which is critical for many people: "Status keeps changing from invisible to online" (initiated on ‎16-11-2014 by b.agne, Mac section). In short, when starting using a device, the Skype status changing from "invisible" to "online" - sometimes just for a moment, though enough for others to notice you. These affects very much any type of devices. I am sure the issue has already led to multiple personal crisises and potentially financial losses due to buseness partnership issues (I came close to that myself, and now use anything but Skype for business). The question is: WHY the issue is completely ignored by Skype, Microsoft and expert comunity? Please post the solution if anybody knows how to fix the issue, or suggest how to make Microsoft to know that it should be fixed. Kind regard...

Hi, I also have the same issue. I change the status to Invisible and a later on it is already as "Online", without having even touched/opened Skype. The only way that I see this may happen is that I have the app installed on the smartphone, but before it never had this issue, but from some month ago it started. If it gets far enough to reject your serial number, it won't help to download it. It must have installed ok.
What is the message you get (DON'T tell us the serial number!!)?
Does it mention a "qualifying product" by any chance?

if you try to change all the plsql keywords to the same background color (that is not either white or black or blue) via the options panel in SQL Developer (Code Editor > PLSQL syntax colors), you will get the new background color in the worksheet only for the areas with plsql text, while the areas without any text will have the same background color as the base color scheme you started with. This means that there is no way to change the "general background" color via the options panel, but you have to use the same background color of one of the predefined color schemes.
This seems to me a bug, but probably it's not considered high priority, so it will not be fixed for the time being.
I would like to stress the fact that being able to change the color scheme of the development environment that you use every day about 8 hours a day can make quite a difference on your eyes at the end of the day.

Go to settings>store and make sure the new apple ID is logged in at the bottom of the page.
If not, log out of the old one and sign in with the new one.

There is no reason to do that. You can buy a legitimate copy of the product from Adobe.
If the price is too good to be true, it's too good to be true. Caveat emptor.

I can get it to work just by doing the below but it won't work with the online switch with get help. Any light to shine on the subject? The error I get is "The online version of this help topic cannot be display because the internet address (URI) of the
help topic is not specificied in the command code or in the help file for the command. I can fix it but just leaving the address there and taking out "Online Version".

this is due to the difference between XML based help and Comment Based Help (CBH). In the XML version a link has two properties (linkText and uri), while in CBH you only have the option to provide text. Get-Help -Online will interprete the first line in
its entirety as its target uri, and if that's not a valid one ...
So if you want this optic, you'll have to go to XML based help.
