Changing icloud email with find my iphone activated
i have an old email in the icloud account i have a new one that i would like to use but when i try and delete it asks for the password which i dont have anymore and the email is not active.what can i do if anything??
any help is appreciated
Did you make a new apple id entirely or just change the email associated to that apple id to a new one?

My iphone was stolen and i have activated "Find my iphone", when i log in on my icloud accont to find my iphone it was desconected and i activate the lost mode and i gonna be alerted when my iphone get online again. But oh what a surprise 45 minutes later someone restore my icloud password and login in my account and erase my iphone??? How is that possible, he doesnt have my password or how he get into my account and reset my apple id???
I am very disapointed with Apple because i have activated "Find my iphone" and have a long passcode active and it was not enough because the guy who stole my iphone can resotre my apple id password and get into my icloud account and deactivate "Find my iphone" then when i try to login into my apple id account surprise my password is incorrect?? and i have to recover it when i login to my icloud accont my iphone is not longer have "Find my iphone" active??
Apple guys i need your answer because the app "Find my iphone" isnt secure and usefull because the guy who stole my iphone can get into my apple ID account to erase my iphone, VERY DISAPOINTED CUSTOMER.The very similar situation with mine:

I can't find any solution. I don't even remember when I changed my apple ID! So does that means I cant recovered my purchased apps from my " old" account? I am totally innocent, for I did not intend to "Change" my account name -
How Do I Use Multiple iCloud logins With find my iPhone?
With iOS 6, I was able to link Find My iPhone accounts across multiple devices. Now, with iOS 7, it appears that I can now only keep track of devices that share the same icloud login.
Talk about a downgrade. I regularly use my phone to find my wife's iPad or my son's iPhone. Or should I say, I used to. Now I can only find the phone I'm using.
Awesome.Here here! it seems to me that Apple is looking to get people to have one major iCloud account and force families to buy additional storage.. WIth 7 devices (and thousands of $$$ in devices) I couldn't possibly use one account at 5 gb for back up, 10 GB would be a stretch between my wife and I between our combined 4 devices. Why would I spend this kind of money again to put my kids in idevices when the BEST security device just got castrated? Really disappointing.

Dropped my phone and returned to the area 10 minutes later and it is gone.
Problem is that there is a lot of dead area around here. I was wondering if they connected the phone to a laptop or PC connected to the internet with the intent to charge it or get into itunes(in an area with dead signal), will find my iphone notify me?
Thank you in advance...stressing very much about my phone. It is my work phone.Only way to be able to locate your iphone is if it is turned on. Just a note.

Recently I changed my apple id but forgot to change my iCloud account.
I also have Find My Iphone activated. My old apple id was an old work email address no longer in use nor can be accessed.
I need to be able to turn off Find My Iphone in order to then delete my iCloud account, I need to include my apple id password to turn off Find my Iphone.
Is there a way around this?

Please go to website address: www.idapple.com Go to the blue tab that reads Manage apple id. From there you will have the option to change personal information of your apple id. The fact that the email address you used to create the apple id is no longer accessible as far as an email address goes will not disable you from changing information as part of the apple id account. However to disable the find my device you will need to be able to access this apple id login. Once you are able to access the old apple id account this then will allow you to access the icloud services by going to www.icloud.com from there you will login with your old apple id once logged into icloud.com and you have chosen the correct device you then can erase all contents of the device which then will disable the find my device.
This is one way of doing it. The other way of course would be for you to login to your icloud on your phone using the old Apple id and from there provided you are able to login with password you then can simply disable the find my device inside the icloud account.

Are you trying to change the Apple ID associated with your iCloud account? If so, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.
To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. -

You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely. -

I have a iphone 4s and changed icloud email address and forgot to sign out of find my phone. How can I turn it off to change to the new email address that I changed in icloud?
To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

If that is your situation, then you need to do the following:
1. Go back to Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to the old email address (this is temporary)
2. You do not need to verify that old address since it is only temporary
3. On your iPhone, go to Settings>iCloud and scroll to the bottom and click on Delete Account to delete the old iCloud account. It will ask for your password - type in your current Apple ID password
4. Go back to Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to the new email address
5. Go back to the Phone to Settings>iCloud and sign on to iCloud with your new Apple ID

How do I change icloud email when my apple ID has been updated to new email? When I try to delete icloud account (in settings-icloud-delete account) I have to put in the password for the apple ID of my old email address, which is no longer my apple ID, and it says username or password is invalid (I'm guessing because that is no longer my apple ID).
You will wait for the rest of your life. You need to fix it; no one else will. To turn off "Find my iPhone" and its associated Activation Lock you need the Apple ID and password that were used to turn it on. If you know the Apple ID you can contact Apple Account Security and have them reset the password (after you prove you are the rightful owner of that Apple ID). see: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699.
If you don't know the Apple ID the phone is permanently unusable. -

I give my iPhone 4 to a friend, he used it for a month then he give it me back.
I make a restore, but now I'm stuck on the activation lock.
I followed the procedure described here: Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account
- I asked him for the password, and we removed the device from it iCloud account.
- but the iPhone is still asking for the activation account when I try to setup the iPhone.
And the strange thing is that the account it's not a valid account (".con")
So how can I activate my iPhone 4 back???
