Changing indicator posting for G/L account.

Hi,
I need to change the indicator posting for two depreciation areas that I need they don't post anymore:
-one from indicator 2 to 0
-one from indicator 1(inflation area) to 0.
Anybody has already done that?
Do you know if I can have any problem?
Thanks,
Cecilia

Hi Cecilia
Yes, you can change it and no problem if your business requires it. In IMG: Asset Accounting -> Integration with the General Ledger -> Define How Depreciation Areas Post to General Ledger, you specify the depreciation areas that post their APC transactions and/or depreciation to the general ledger. Based on your business requirement, you can change the GL posting indicator to 0, that means there is no APC transactions and/or depreciation being posted to GL anymore for those depreciation areas thereafter.

George

  • How do I change my email for my Adobe account?

I am going to be making a new email soon and I want to know how to change the email for my Adobe account.
I have purchased things on this account so I want to make sure that I can keep those purchases.
    Thanks!

Presumably you've tried opening your account and editing your details on the first page, where, under your Adobe ID, you can alter it to your new email address. This is assuming that your ID is the same as your email address, which mine is.

  • F.05 Posting for general ledger account .......[Error]

    Hi expert,
I am running a transaction in F.05 and encounter several error messages such as:
1 Incorrect account determination: ABC 11111 >> No performance Assistant message
2 Enter account number with a maximum of 10 characters  No performance Assistant message
3 Posting for general ledger account 11111 amount >>
    Performance Assistant message prompt:
Posting for general ledger account 11111 amount 199,999.00 set in batch input
    Message no. FR008
    Diagnosis
In an evaluation that affects the financial statements, the posting for company code ABC and G/L amount 199,999.00 SGD, could not be carried out.
    System Response
The posting is entered in a batch input session.
    Procedure
Correct the error, for example, missing account determination, and run the batch input session. This ensures that the posting and the evaluation difference noted in the documents agree again.
    Please advise.
    Thank you!

    1.  Financial Accounting (New) > General Ledger Accounting (New) > Periodic Processing > Valuate > Foreign Currency Valuation.
    Check your settings
    2. Check if how you have defined you account groups in OBD4. Most probabaly you have defined 10 digit account length.
    3. Check if the document type is relevent only for batch input.

    Hi skippy2012trev,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you updated your Apple Id and password but now you are being prompted for the old information in iCloud. You are on the right track by changing the Apple ID back to the previous email address temporarily so that you can sign out. You should not need to verify the email address. After you edit the Apple ID back to the old email address and then sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, edit the Apple ID back to the address you would currently like to use. There is no need to change the password again, only the email address, unless you prefer to update the password again.
If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud - Apple Support
    Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.
    Cheers,
    Joe

  • I recently changed my Email for my iTunes account, now I cannot login to iCloud, how do I change my iCloud email address?, I recently changed my Email for my iTunes account, now I cannot login to iCloud, how do I change my iCloud email address?

I recently changed my AppleID, now my iCloud email is prompting me to enter my new password, when I enter the password that I use for my new AppleID it is incorrect for iCloud. I need to change the ID for iCloud, but I cannot find where do change it.  I am not very technical so please answer on my level;)

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

Click here for information. If you can't reset them through the method described in that article or by sending yourself a rescue email(the email may take a few hours to arrive), contact the iTunes Store staff via the link in the 'Additional Information' section.
It isn't possible to create a rescue email address without correctly answering two of the questions.

  • If I change the password for my icloud account will it also change my apple ID password?

the two passwords are the same now - If I change my icloud password does that automatically change my apple ID password or do I have to change it seperately?

If you change the password for your iCloud ID, you have to change it on any services you use the ID for on your device.  If you use the same ID for purchasing, go to Settings>iTunes & App Stores, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in using your new password.  If you use it for iMessage, do the same thing in Settings>Messages>Send & Receive.  If you use it for FaceTime, do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.
To change it for iCloud, you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in using your new password.  When you delete the account it only deletes the account and your synced data from yor iPad, not from iCloud.  Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts, your data will be synced back to your iPad when you sign back in.

Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

  • How do I change the email for my icould account on my iphone 4s?

I have an iPhone 4S. I have an old email for my icloud that shows on my iPhone 4S. My actual Appleid is a new one that I've had for awhile now. The iPhone when hooked up via USB to my computer is signed in under my new email, however keeps the old email for the iCloud even after the update and sync. Can someone please help me? There is no "Delete Account," when you go to Settings either. Someone else suggested that and it's just not there. I am really hoping that I do not have to completely reset the iPhone.

    Hey JT_BARRETT,
Thanks for the question. You are definitely on the right track. You’ll want to follow these instructions for updating your iPhone with your new iCloud account. Please note that “Delete Account” had changed in iOS 8 to “Sign Out”:
Apple ID: What to do after you change your Apple ID
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5796
    iCloud
iOS 6 and later: Go to Settings > iCloud.
    - If you signed out before changing your Apple ID, enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download to your device.
    - If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account. Depending on what iCloud options are turned on, you'll be asked to confirm that you want to delete data from your device. To confirm, tap Delete. (If you're using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, you'll be asked to enter the password for your previous Apple ID. Enter the password, then tap Turn Off.) The data will be deleted from your device, but not from iCloud.
Enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download again to your device.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • How do I change my id for a single account.

I use my Fathers id when first setting it up so I could get on the internet and make my own. Now I do not know how to change it.

    Hey Tonyamayo,
Thanks for the question. Are you referring to changing the signed in iCloud account after changing the email address associated with your Apple ID? If so, the following resource may help to resolve your issue:
Apple ID: What to do after you change your Apple ID
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5796
    iCloud
iOS 6 and later: Go to Settings > iCloud.
    - If you signed out before changing your Apple ID, enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download to your device.
    - If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
              2. Enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download again to your device.
    Thanks,

  • How do I change the password for an email account that is defunct?

I have two different apple accounts because the original one I no longer have access to the email address.  For a long time I was able to continue to update my apps because I knew the password.  However now it keeps telling me that the password is wrong, and tells me to change the password.  However that must be done through the email.  It's a vicious cycle and now I have about 20 some apps that need updated and I can't!  Very frustrated ... any help?

Log on to your account with your ISP via webmail and you should be able to change it there.

  • How can I change Aperture permissions for new user account

I migrated my old user account (Ezra) to my new Mac mini from my old MBP laptop, but it would not allow me to keep the same name, (Ezra) so I picked a new one (Karyn). The problem is that now I can't access any of my other Aperture Libraries on my external storage array (Drobo) due to permissions errors. What is the best course of action to get back to working with Aperture? Is there a way to change an existing user account name to match what it used to be? I want the (Ezra) account from the Mac mini to eventually migrate to a freshly purchased Macbook Air later, then I could delete it from the Mac mini to rid the problem of duplicate user account names.

Sounds like when you installed the new system you created a user account on it and then used migration assistant to copy over the files from the old system,. IS this correct?
If so you will have other problems down the road with other applications also. The best thing to so if you still have the old system and have not done to much work on the new system  is to redo the install and use setup assistant. This way your old account will be brought over to the new system and you will not have permissions problems.
You can try one thing. Do a Get Info on the Drobo Drive and see if at the bottom of the Info window you see this:
If that is there for the drive (and I don;t know if the Drobo will have this option) you can select the box and you might be able to get at your libraries.
As I wrote however, even of you fix this problem there is a good chance you will run into others later on.
